Delicious food, great service, cheap prices, and it’s not a chain restaurant. Much better than a Bob Evans or IHOP in my opinion. I will say that I have only had breakfast here, but it is very busy at lunch as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I enjoy cracker barrels breakfast a bit more, but I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

New to this restaurant. Outside sales, and I have ate everywhere. This place is the best ! No joke, people are so nice. Food is great, and the restaurant is very clean. Don’t pass this one up.

Always have a good/​great meal here. Had an amazing breakfast today with Hawaiian French Toast with strawberries, pineapple, walnuts & island glaze. It was almost to good looking to eat, but was even better than it looked. Service was great as always! Always feel at home here!

My egg whites were not cooked when I ordered an over easy egg. When I complained the waitress said, «Well you ordered over easy». The biscuits and gravy is not very good. The kids pancakes are OK, but canned pineapple was a disappointment.

First and foremost is the personalized service by the owners. My parents have been Stack’s regulars since the early days down the road at the first location. They always greeted my mother by name and always took a moment to visit with her. For the kindnesses they showed her I will be eternally grateful and in turn a lifeling fan of Stacks.
I have always enjoyed my meals here no matter whether it has been breakfast, lunch or dinner. The portions are generous and always good.
Since the fire it it extremely inviting and updated inside. The place is very clean and a comforting homey feel. Couple that with a pleasant staff and you have a winner.
New Castle is lucky to have Stack’s. It is so nice to have a chain and or fast food alternative. I think and hope Stacks will have a long term presence in New Castle.

Stopped at Stack’s Pancake House for dinner passing through town. Pleasantly surprised at how great the food and service were. Everything we ate was fresh and tasty including the Julienne Salad with crisp lettuce and and tasty meats. Great price/​value for the quantity and quality. Allison, our waitress, was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back since everything on the menu looked like a great choice!

We stopped here for breakfast on a road trip and were very satisfied with the food, the service and atmosphere. Restrooms are clean which is always a plus when on a road trip!

Wonderful place. I loved seeing this restaurant make a comeback. If I am ever in the area again I will be returning for this wonderfully unique full of flavor food.

We were really looking forward to going back to Stacks for the first time since the fire. We were left disappointed. The coffee suffers from being made from unfiltered New Castle water, which tastes like it was taken directly from a pool. This leaves the coffee with a stange, unpleasant flavor. I made the mistake of ordering the corned beef and hash, which is canned. The salt-​bomb of canned meat was made all the worse as it was burned, as were the hashbrowns, or in this case, hashblacks.
The one bright side was that they now offer gluten free pancakes, which were quite good. But overall, we felt like we received mediocre diner food at a premium price.

There aren’t too non-​franchise chain options here in New Castle, so this is a popular place. And it deserves to be! The food is good, down-​home cooking with some nice Greek options as well. It’s clean and updated since the fire a few years ago, and I can’t say enough about the service and the staff: always friendly and always helpful. As others have noted, it IS difficult to find and sits behind a few fast food places, but ask around. Most locals know where it is and how to get back there.

The place is difficult to find, no sign. I saw a box truck with name on it parked at the back of the building. However, it was worth the find. My husband and I went there for breakfast. Lots of seating, especially booths (which we prefer). It was about ¾ full. When we left it was packed and a line waiting to be seated. The service was extremely fast. We both had omelets. They were big and delicious. Potatoes were fabulous, could have eaten a whole kitchen full. Coffee was perfect, not to strong or to weak. Pancakes were light, not heavy. Staff was very friendly and came to our table often, but not to much, to check on us. The restaurant was very clean. We didn’t have dessert but looked delicious in the case. We can’t wait to go back to try lunch and dinner.

Eli and Demetrius I just wanted to say thank you for owning and running a great restaurant here in New Castle. My mom and myself had amazing food. Mom ordered your amazingly good beef manhatin and I the stack burger. We are both very happy with the food and your staff are always very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend Stacks to anyone that lives in town and or visiting New Castle. Again thank you for a great lunch!!!

My husband and I just ate dinner at Stacks. It was very good. He had pork chops which were so delicious. I had the meatloaf, also very good. We both had dessert. The restaurant was very clean, great service and extremely friendly. They serve everything all day long. We will definitely be going back to try breakfast. Give it a try, you will not be sorry.

Stopped here on our way through town over Fall Break. Although it was a little hard to find it was definitely worth the searching. The restaurant was very clean, everyone was exceptionally friendly and our coffee cups never got below half full. The food was great, particularly the Kentucky Benedict, great country gravy! Overall a fantastic experience and certainly worth the trip.

The food here was always great. The environment good and the service amazing. Sadly this is another restaurant in town destroyed by fire. We do hope it returns soon.
