This place has good food, we usually get takeout. I think it’s time to modernize the place. Went there to eat tonight and they were short handed. Our waitress was great but couldn’t keep up and we waited a while for our food and the check.

My wife and I went to dinner here again on Tuesday night, 10÷27÷15. I was searching for a place to have happy hour food and a couple of drinks. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Biscottis so I went on their website to see if they had happy hour specials. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they did. Happy hour runs from 3:30PM to 6:00PM in the bar area. The specials run $ 2 each and are generous. Some of the specials include calamari, meatball with peppers, bruschetta, wings, and muscles in a marinara. The apps were very good and I am coming back. Drinks and 6 apps were $ 30 including tip. Finally, the service was awesome. One woman was handling the whole bar area. I love coming back to a place, having a better experience than before and giving more stars.

It’s unfortunate but this place has good pizza and good food however they are extremely shady I purchased a coupon off of it was the only reason why we got pizza that night and we got there the girl at the counter said oh I’m sorry that’s for dining in only When I questioned it she said oh it’s in the FinePrint I replied with no it’s not and I read it to her her reasoning was oh you see it says right there cannot be combined with two separate checks even if you’re seated separately I said yes but that still doesn’t say for dining and only she insisted she would not take the coupon five dollars off to a repeat customer will never go there again

We ordered catering from Biscotti’s, and it was wonderful. Usually I would expect the food to not travel well, but the food was fresh and delicious for the event. We had a variety of items that I would highly recommend such as the eggplant parmesan, chicken, and caprese. The only item I wasn’t crazy about was the roasted vegetable dish.

Was there for a graduation party. The Antipasti was fabulous. So was the balsamic dressing. APPETIZERS — Stuffed mushrooms were very flavorful. The spicy calamari was done just right. Tender inside with a crispy breaded outside. The mozzarella sticks seemed to be the average frozen type you get in a supermarket. ENTREES– Stuffed flounder — Flounder was moist and tender. The stuffing was a little pasty with no evidence of crabmeat. Penne with vodka sauce — Penne was aldente and the sauce was spot on perfect. Eggplant rollatini was perfection. Cooked perfectly with the right amount of stuffing. Sauce was also excellent. Chicken Parmesan — Flavor was very good. The chicken patties looked like the frozen kind with a lot of breading and not much chicken. Chicken Francais — One of the worst chicken francais dishes I have ever had in a restaurant. The sauce was tasteless. It was tough, dry and like rubber. Mentioned how terrible with chicken was and they did not even give my sister in law a discount because of the absolutely terrible chicken. The staff was excellent. Friendly and very attentive. Cleaned and served perfectly. The owner should be proud of his employees. CONCLUSION — 2 Stars Why — Chicken Francais — the worst — less one star Did not give a discount for a terrible entrée — less one star My sister in law said she was charged for more people that were at the catered party there — less 1 star IFYOUHAVE A CATEREDPARTYHEREMAKESUREYOUARECHARGEDFORTHERIGHTAMOUNTOFPEOPLE. Catering cost was expensive per person. Other food was great and the staff was exceptional — 2 stars

I hope you like garlic… Almost everything we ordered was coated in garlic and it was very visible. Yes garlic can add great flavor but the desire is not to have every dish taste similar. This place calls itself an Italian restaurant however it serves buffalo wing and other items you would expect to see at a sports bar. The bar itself is definitely a sports bar with all the tvs and advertising there is. Do not order the calamari, it is the worst I have ever had and reminds me of something I would see served on Bar Rescue(TV shows). The food is edible and definitely a place for locals but I don’t plan on coming back as it’s not real Italian food. Also, it wouldn’t hurt to have someone clean the bathrooms, put up some stall dividers, etc. Parking is horrible by the way. We need a good mom and pop Italian restaurant, not migrants trying to imitate Italian food.

Amazing food and amazing service, bartenders are great. I also had my baby shower here with 35+ people, they did a fantastic job. I would recommend for dinner or catering!

Biscotti’s is one of the better Italian options in the area, jousting with Villa Pasta for the crown as best Italian in New Fairfield. The food is quality, and I’ve rarely had any issues. You always know you’re going to get a good meal with good portions. And the parking lot is always full, so that’s a good sign, even before you walk in. My recommendation is going with an entrée. Yes, they have pizza, but it’s not the best in town. It has a very thin crust, which is great because you can enjoy several slices without being full on bread. The cheese isn’t the best quality, as evident by the enormous amount of grease that flows off the pie. But back to the entrees… the portions are more than generous, and any normal person would get two meals out of it. The chicken or veal parm are always huge portions, and the seafood fra diablo is my personal favorite. The most important thing for an Italian restaurant is to have a good, homemade marinara, and Biscotti’s does not disappoint. It’s got some spice to it, but it’s not hot per se. The pepper or chili they use in there gives it the perfect amount of zest. Their batter is awesome on fried apps, so the sauce with some fried mozz or calamari is a great snack or start to the meal. There were no tentacles in the calamari though, which was kinda a bummer. Only time we’ve ever had a bad experience was a take out order, where we got a bad fettuccini alfredo. Perhaps it was the cream, maybe the cheese, but it just tasted awful. When we called back, the restaurant was more than happy to credit us for the dish, which we used the following night. It was okay having only one entrée for two people, because it was plenty of food for two. There’s also a bar, usually full of some characters… but in a good way. I’ve met some great folks here, and have had some conversations I’ll never forget… but in a good way! The staff is always friendly, attentive, and eager to please. This goes for the bar, dining room, or take out counter. I’ve never left Biscotti’s with a frown on my face.

I called and ordered a small catering order(half trays of chicken parm and ziti) a week in advance, the day of pick up at 5pm was when I told them I need it for. I got there and they were just making it… Whilst it was done fast I still did not leave there till 5:45. The other problem was since they clearly forgot about this order the gave me filthy and heavy holding trays with lids that I had to put in my car(3 trips) with. I help. The food was ok but I will not order catering from them again.

My wife and I discovered this place in the ENTERTAINMENTBOOK. It is only 16 minutes from where we live. Parking lot was packed on a Friday night, but some how we arrived just in time to nail the best spot. We were immediately greeted by Scott, the owner/manager. He was very attentive to us through every course of the meal. He offered us a complimentary order of fried calamari, which was delicious. The sauce was a little too spicy, so just add a little to each dip. We ordered the clams casino. The clams were very fresh, but they were a bit heavy on the scallions and other seasoning. For the meal my wife had the stuffed salmon, which she said was fresh and delicious. I had the shrimp scampi, and also felt the shrimp was fresh however, I would probably ask they put less oil on the pasta next time. The bread was warm and tasty and the Caesar’s salad was very good. The men’s bathroom needed a little attention. There were paper towels on the floor due to the over-stuffed waste basket. Our waitress, Myra or Mayra, was very friendly and hospitable. We will be back!

Stumbled upon this one day when we were looking for a place for lunch. The chicken parm was really good. The server was very friendly and the bread was absolutely delicious. Large portions(at least for me). Prices weren’t obscene either. The dining area had a darker décor, which was a little off-putting during the day but no major complaints with me.

Have eaten in a few times and also done take out. Love that they don’t rush you out, you can truly just sit and enjoy your food. One meal there lasted us almost 2 hours or more. The calamari Rhode Island style is our normal appetizer. The stuffed salmon is great. Friendly service. I appreciate that the dining area is so separate from the bar area. You can have a quiet romantic dinner and not hear a bunch of noise. Wine selection is good. Get the Italian hot chocolate after your meal. Delicious. Parking is a pain though. So just keep that in mind when going.

i saw Biscotti’s on groupon, so I gave it a second try. The bar is packed and very happening. We ate in the restaurant area. The floor looked very dirty, which bothered me. We were told the seafood is good. I ordered clams and shrimp with pasta, I asked twice– please no hot pepper, which they put on anyway. My husband said to lighten the sauce on his salmon but, they didn’t. The waitress asked, «Is everything ok?» we told her and she just said«sorry, she told them, sometimes they don’t listen» I didn’t enjoy the dish the way it was prepared. Bottom line: Not going back!

Visited Biscotti’s on 6⁄30. There were 8 of us. They were very accommodating and seated us out on the patio right away. We did not have a reservation and it was 7 o’clock on a saturday evening. Maybe this should have been our first indication that something was going to go wrong! The service was excellent: very attentive, all of our food came out as ordered and even my shellfish allergy was addressed and taken into consideration. The bread that came out first was excellent however the rest of the food seemed to pale in comparison. We all had salads come out first and I split the mozzarella sticks with my boyfriend. I would say they were average at best. The salads were your typical roadhouse-style garden salad. iceberg lettuce was a little too white for my liking. There were a variety meals ordered around the table. I had a veal marsala which lacked flavor and a side of vegetables that clearly had just come out of a frozen bag. The majority of the table ordered the sole feature and nobody really had great things to say about it. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parm and had pasta for a side. He only ate half the chicken and one bite of the pasta. He had definitely had better before. We did not have dessert. Unfortunately in such a small town there are not many options for restaurants, but I would highly recommend going for a drive and exploring other options for Italian food. It’s really too bad because our service really was excellent, but bad food is bad food and you need good food if you want people to return!

The location is hard to find, once you’re there the décor is something to be desired and the inside needs a major face lift! There seem to be 4 different areas in the restaurant: large dinning room for big groups; smaller, more intimate area; bar area(with a TV); and an outdoor seating area. The restaurant tries to be «upscale,» but it’s challenging when the ceiling leaks(slightly), the tile floor is old and grungy looking, the outlets on the walls are almost falling off, and all the tables wobble(everyone in the restaurant on the«intimate» side were placing items under the tables to keep them from wobbling)… So, needless to say, we didn’t have high expectations of the food. We ordered the tomato brushetta as an ap; I ordered the chicken marsala with pasta; and the two others in our party ordered calzones. With all entrees(i.e., chicken marsala) you get your choice of salad or soup, I got a salad with white zin dressing. In addition, you get bread and butter. I must say, the bread and butter, well, the butter was really good(see pic). It had garlic and olive oil over it. The garlic was pretty strong, but we really liked it. Salad — good, dressing was the best part. Appetizer of tomato brushetta… well, it is not your typical brushetta with the pile of tomato on top; it was more like wood fired bread with cheese on top and the cheese had a few flakes of tomato in it(see pic). It was okay, we were just surprised at it actually being called brushetta. Main courses(see pics)… the other two in the party LOVED their calzones and both stated they would come back just for the calzone. As most calzones are, these were huge and came with a side of marinara sauce. One person in our party stated that they weren’t as greasy as most calzones and that it was one of the best he has had. The chicken marsala was good; I wouldn’t say it was the«best» I’ve ever had, but it was nice and tasty. Overall, the food was excellent, specifically the calzones, the service was great, but the atmosphere was less than desirable, therefore 3 stars.
