I returned to Koffee with a friend on a Friday afternoon for coffee and conversation. We ordered two drip coffees and took seats on the comfortable leather couches in the main area. I enjoyed the coffee, ambiance, and good company on this afternoon. Verdict: Recommended.

Popped in to check out the coffee and had lunch instead. Great rice and vegetable salad. Love how they give you a mixing bowl to eat out of. Loved the atmosphere and the comfy couch. Also sat in the window to enjoy the street scene. Fun!

Strangely enjoyable. Of the handful of times I have visited — Koffee is always packed. Students, professors, coffee connoisseurs — space is hard to come by. They offer MANY hot/cold drinks. On any given day there are 5 kinds of cofee: a house blend, french, flavor of the week, single estate and decaf on deck. But I think they are most good at their café au lait and expresso(local roaster) They have food, all types of food actually: cookies, muffins, croissants, tea breads, scones, bagels, sandwiches and salads. But by lunchtime/midday, most if not all the good stuff is gone, so be conscious of that if you’re hangry.

I have been stopping here pretty regularly lately, so I think I finally feel confident enough to write my review. For me, the coffee here is ok. I like a good strong, punch you in the face cup of coffee though, and always drink it black. Therefore, my cup of coffee may be extremely gross to many others. That being said, I am a big fan of their espresso drinks. I adjust for my palate by adding some extra shots of espresso in mine. The baristas who have made my Nutella lattes and my ginger snaps lattes have been great. The shots were good and strong and the lattes were flavored perfectly! Of course I realize it is the quality of beans too, but I have had the situation of good beans(Starbucks) and bad barista(way too weak and watery). I consider both Bs of a latte equally important, and here they are both pretty good. There are lots of baked goods(muffins, cookies), yogurt parfaits, salads, sandwiches, and some other goodies to complement your beverage. I noticed they also have some beers, wines, and an entire board of Koffee Kocktails which are listed as «Coming Soon.» Super excited for these, however, my current schedule for visits here is morning only. I hope my mornings at work continue to not require these, but good to know. They have tables and comfy chairs for doing some work, and free WiFi available. Space is sparse though during the weekends. It is a popular place.

This is definitely a cozy coffee spot with a very unique, funky vibe. Free WiFi and a variety of tables, couches, chairs offer a good spot to work while you drink. However, it was so packed on the weekend that I couldn’t get a table to sit at — so you might want to scope it out and wait for a table before ordering. The staff is super friendly and will give you suggestions on things to try if you are feeling indecisive. I’m not sure if it was because I went late in the afternoon, but there was a very small food selection(only 2 types of sandwiches left). My latte was good, but my expectations were pretty high after reading previous reviews. So I was left slightly disappointed. They do offer beer and wine as well for a late night drink. And they have coffee cocktails listed on the menu. They aren’t available yet, but they sounded delicious and I think it’d be worth another visit to try them out.

I am a huge fan of this coffee shop. Really friendly and fast service. The coffee is always strong and the baked goods are always delicious. The atmosphere has a great eclectic vibe with people from all walks of like working and chatting. There is mismatched furniture and soft lighting for a great working environment. Plus they have a whole wall of charging options. I will warn you this place can get pretty popular on weekend afternoons, so come early if you want to claim a spot to work!

I’m a pretty big fan of this place. Fast and friendly service and the coffee has the perfect strong caffeine for studying and etc. I like the plenty of options for studying between sofa area, old school desks, and corner fixed row desks. Oh and SUPERIMPORTANT… plenty of charging options! Only minor cut against this place is that I expect a few more food options and a more accessible bathroom. But all and all, pretty terrific! I am also super thankful they made me my custom brew!

If guster speaks to your tortured soul, you consider dreads a haircut, and kale has become too mainstream to be healthy, Koffe?(with a K and a question mark) should be your hipster haven. The c(k)offee served in mason jars of course is the best in the city and the poppyseed muffins are richer than pound cake. Not to mention the servers always take their time to ask about your beastie boys records collection. Make the right choice.

This is one of my favorite spots in New Haven. I wrote a good chunk of thesis sitting in the café. I love their everything goes to recycling or compost and always put things in mugs unless you ask otherwise. The coffee is what you’d expect from a little shop, and the pastries are always tasty. The only downside to this place is that the seating is often congested and not always the most comfortable. It’s all hand me down, probably taken off the streets reused. But it completely works with the feel of the shop.

We use Koffee Katering frequently for our events on Yale’s campus, and Koffee is always wonderful! They’re prompt, organized, and professional. The food is always delicious and fresh. Everything from their basic coffee and tea package to their fancier lunch, and breakfast menus are flavorful, fresh, and wonderful! Will definitely recommend Koffee Katering to anyone looking for catering services in the New Haven area.

KOFFEE? is the bomb. KOFFEE? has rad sandwiches and employees. They’re so tumblr. You can charge your devices here it’s so rad. Drinks are gr8. Double chocolate chip muffin is hella moist. You can buy artwork if you’re rich enough. Currently looking at a painting for $ 1100 damn lol. I’m having an iced coffee at KOFFEE? It’s yum. If you ever wish to be looked upon as an artsy, hipster-type individual, being seen hanging at KOFFEE? will help immensely. I just had a pretzel roll and it was SUPERYUMMY. everyone should try their pretzel rolls. If you took pictures of this place from creative angles and added filters I guarantee you’d get so many notes on tumblr. The ODDBUTGOOD sandwich is EPIC. It has Brie cheese, apples and honey. It is delicious.(As written by my daughter…)

My first local café visit in New Haven, and I was not disappointed! Koffee is small and cozy with plenty of outlets for those who need to charge up. I love the eclectic seating and décor. I have been on a chai kick recently, so I ordered an iced chai. They serve it in a real glass, which is fantastic. The drink was good– not the best I’ve ever had but not substandard either. I will definitely be back in the near future to try some of the more interesting drinks.

Best coffee hangout place near campus in the nicer audubon area. Great service and enjoyed the ginger iced green tea. The location/ambience here is nicer than blue state coffee in the other main campus shopping area on broadway.

This coffee shop is cute and quaint. It does get a little crowded at times. I live in Stamford CT but I find myself in New Haven quite often. I come with my books and laptop. There is always space for your things. There are counter tops you can sit at and there are also arm chairs. They look rather comfy but I like having something hard to sit on in order to focus. The coffee is great. Very standard. They have a chai latte which is great with your choice of milk, soy, or almond. I do wish however that the chai tea was strong. By strong, I mean, I am looking for the kick, the spice. That is what is needed. AS much as I like this place the internet is awful. I’m not on Facebook or playing games, or streaming, or skyp-ing with anyone. I simply check school email and download class assignments, email professors, and use google to research various topics for my courses. I’m not sure why the internet stalls out. Then they have a second wifi Koffee II and that one simply doesn’t work. I asked the barista if the internet was working, his response was«it’s just slow». If you are in need of the internet for simple things like email and internet searches well I’m not sure I can recommend Koffee. I’d recommend Book Trader or Starbucks or even the public library. They all have much faster internet.

Koffee is one of my favorite secret treat for me spots in New Haven. I was there about a month ago and I wanted a little treat. I had a coffee and small banana oatmeal muffin. I prepared my coffee and walked to my car. To my chagrin, I had lost my muffin. I retraced my steps only to end up back at the counter with no muffin. The young lady at the counter was extremely understanding and replaced it. It was delicious. 2 days later, while looking for something under the car seat I found the lost muffin. It too was delicious. Today I finally had a chance to visit again and I told the story to another person at the counter as I paid for the muffin. «He asked, did you eat it?» Absolutely! Try the muffins they’re great the first day and 2 days later.

Really good house coffee and decaf too. Good, friendly service. Very welcoming. It’s a bit loud in there, it is always busy, not the best for major concentration, but a very lively place. Also it’s a bit cold in the winter, I would like it a little cozier. But overall, great space and location!

Though I’ve been in New Haven for a relatively short time, Koffee has emerged as a place I go to for extra warmth. And I’m not only talking about a cup of tea, or coffee on these cold wintry days. In the handful of times I’ve been to Koffee, I seem to find the friendliest people serving behind the counter EVERY time. On a recent Friday evening I was in the mood for some ginger tea, but they were fresh out. The nice person serving me suggested rooibos tea. With promise of excellent flavor and some nice health benefits, how could one go wrong? He definitely didn’t lead me astray. And the nice fella with the glasses who checked me out had an equally positive vibe. It was a tag-team of terrific energy that made my evening after a tough day. Though I appreciate the range of teas(I’m not a coffee drinker) and simple things to eat, I love going to Koffee because the folks who work there are always exceedingly nice. It’s hard not to want to keep going back to a place where you’re usually in contact with super friendly folks.
