This is really a unique and special shop. Raggs has a range of men’s cloths (from suits to more casual) that is very well-​curated: not too big a store that you are overwhelmed but large enough there are choices. Everything they have is stylish and the service is extremely personalized; come here three times and by the third time they will almost certainly know your name and have a good sense of what you want!

Whenever I need exactly the right outfit for a special occasion, something casual for a fun night on the town, or I deserve a treat for myself I go to Raggs. The selection is unmatched in the New Haven area, with choices you will never find in a department store. The knowledgeable staff makes for a fun personalized shopping experience. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Great taste in merchandise… Stellar customer service! What more can I say?
I first went to this store a year ago and Tom Maloney was attentive and sold me on a nice Hugo Boss briefcase which I get compliments on all the time.
A year later, the strap broke last Wednesday, on Thursday I contact Tom to see if there was anything he could do to help. He responded immediately and said he would look into it. Exactly one week later, I received in my office a brand new replacement strap for my briefcase directly from Hugo Boss.
I come all the way up to NYC to shop at Raggs.

I’ve always received the best personal service. They spend time and focus with all of their clients, yes that’s right, clients. Patrons are treated like personalized clients.
Raggs continues to add unique clothing lines to the latest styles.
Since I don’t live in town, we discuss my needs on the phone and they send me clothes to try. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Raggs has it all for the fashion conscious male. Whether you want to dress up, or dress down, the helpful staff has got you covered. I walked in wanting to get dressed well — and I walked out with a black Hugo Boss suit and a couple of shirts with matching ties. Service is top notch and Tom will give you advice on how to look good — instead of just trying to sell you designer stuff. It seems to me that every item in the store is carefully picked by someone that knows a thing or two about the latest men’s fashion. You really can’t go wrong by buying anything there. You could look super sharp for your next once-​in-​a-​lifetime opportunity interview, or a hot date with a woman of your dreams (skinny ties anyone?) all from the same place!
