The atmosphere of the shop is awesome; from the old newspaper clippings on the table to the music overhead, this is a real treat of a find for a couple out of towners. The staff is friendly but two things stood out; the speed of the food — it was so fast I thought maybe I fell asleep and missed the waiting time. Secondly, the pretzel roll in the ham and pretzel roll was the greatest pretzel roll I have ever had, so kudos on that. My wife had a roasted turkey sandwich and it was very fresh tasting. The ice cream screamer sampler was pretty solid and the tea berry was incredible. The wife got the cookie bottom sundae, which was also«so good». When we’re in the area again with or without kids, we’re going to need to stop here again.

Great old fashion feel. Great menu selections include homemade soups sandwiches and ice cream sundaes. Great place to meet a friend to catch up. Every sandwich can be made on gluten free bread. Lots of gluten free items

Every meal I have here I go home and rave about. I’m from out of state and every time I come here I make sure to stop. The homemade soup is phenomenal — if you get lucky order the pepper and jack cheese soup when it’s soup of the day. The Brimmer and the 200 block sandwich are seriously delicious sandwiches

The food was delicious, the ice cream was delicious, the service came with a smile, and the shop is just as cute as can be. Next time I happen to be in the area we are stopping by again.

Wouldn’t have found this place without my aunt. It’s one of those tucked away places that you could easily pass by without knowing(unless you’re local I guess…) So, the menu isn’t too special, some apps and sandwiches with a few other things. They’re pretty good, best I had was the potato cakes. But what earned this place it’s 4th star is their ice cream. During my visit, the special of the season was Peach Sundae. It was incredibly good and the presentation was cute. If ice cream isn’t you thing because you prefer salty to sweet, Lickity Split also boasts about their potato chips: «you can’t by these locally», but you can by them here. And they are good. *This is a good lunch spot*

Lickity Split is a café located in the Old Kauffman’s Hardware building, owned by Mitch and Gina Dissinger. Also known as the ‘Town Scoop,’ the menu offers appetizers(nachos, baby potato cakes, quesadillas, etc.), soups/wraps, sandwiches, salads, and sundaes. Food is similar to any typical café, and the place seems to be a favorite for the tourists who want something outside of the Amish fare. They also have 2 ice cream trucks and provides catering services. +sandwiches and wraps +sundae options +ice cream trucks available

I took my family for ice cream this evening. The environment was perfect for the kids. I split the Carmel salted pretzel sundae. It was excellent and worth the twenty minute drive. The staff was friendly and we all left satisfied. Well done!

Sandwiches are amazing. Must try the Brimmer wrap! And try a pumpkin milkshake during the Fall months!

Once again an incredible experience. Brought some friends and they loved it! Best ice cream around and the sandwiches were creative and exquisite. Very home vibe going on, positive music, nice décor and such a nostalgic atmosphere. Love the owners, they are not just operating an incredible local business, they are incredible people full of love and have such a heart for the community. THANKYOU Mitch and Gina, always a pleasure to visit :)

The only way this place could get any better is if they had a unicorn petting zoo(please just consider it). Funky eclectic style, nice menu selection(get the steak stuffed pretzel though with the steak sauce), friendly and fast service, and food served fresh and hot! I was unfortunately too stuffed from dinner to eat icecream(keep that in mind when ordering) but love their selection and every dessert they served looked delicious. All around CHARMING!

Don’t miss this charming café! The menu is sandwich and soup fare. Don’t let this fool you they have some creative flavors that are super tasty! Save room for ice cream, it’s excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have gluten free bread that can be substituted for any sandwich. However, be careful if you are highly sensitive to wheat, the ice cream is served with a pretzel on the top. I didn’t know this ahead of time and didn’t know to ask them to skip it for me, I just removed it and plowed through into my ice cream, yummy! Our family would come back in a heartbeat if ever in the area again.

This is my daughter’s favorite place to eat — so we stop in occasionally. The food is good — nothing spectacular — but good. I usually get the Cheesesteak pretzel or the Thanksgiving sandwich, my daughter goes for the pretzel and the hubby usually goes for the pretzel or quesadillas. Everything comes with chips, blah. I do find the food a bit pricey. For drinks — I love the Italian sodas! Awesome, awesome drink! Dinner service can be slow at times. Though the staff is always very friendly, wait times to place drink orders and food orders can be lengthy… depends on the night and the server. It seems the wait staff gets a bit overwhelmed during the dinner rush. The ice cream sundaes are the main attraction here. Creative, cute and delicious sundae combinations or create your own. My daughters eyes light up when she gets her sundae with crushed oreos & gummy worms. This is the place for ice cream — we love it! Probably the best ice cream sundaes we’ve ever had! Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a few sundaes. Have an Italian soda too. Laid back, friendly vibe and cool décor with a local flair. Parking in back.

Very cute place. The restaurant has a small selection of food. I got the roast turkey sandwich and it was very good! Also the cookie bottom sundae was to die for. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

I’ve only eaten here once so far, since I just started working in the area. I had the roasted turkey which is made fresh daily. One of the sandwiches was recommended on the menu. It was excellent. This place is a bit pricey, which is why I haven’t been there 3 – 4 times by now. It’s also on the other side of town, which with all the lights takes a while to get to from Shirk Rd. I’ll update my review if I go back and try other menu options, which I’m sure I will do eventually.

Poor lunch experience. Waiter intolerably slow. As in we waited at least 15 min before he took our order. Maryland clam chowder was a bland tomato soup without much crab. Sandwich(Reuben) was good. Retro décor is cute and ice cream may be good but didn’t have any more time to try and see. Definitely won’t be back.

Fantastic place to eat. Great food and a great atmosphere! They have delicious, local specialties and other great lunch/dinner items to choose from. A nice selection of ice creams, sundaes, and desserts. There is a lot of history displayed around the restaurant. The owners are great!

Great little place with a cool small town vibe. The ice cream sundaes were good and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stop by again if I was in the neighborhood.

Hard to just call it a «hole in the wall» or even just a sandwich shoppe. Try the«trimmers tribute» so good. Homemade soup and a great value. We are on vacation and came here on a recommendation. Wish we had something like this in CT

Really love this place… staff is always friendly. The owners are a compassionate couple who are committed to their guests and the community. Décor is fun, funky, and upbeat. Great place to take the kids or a quick business lunch as well. They do an excellent job with catering as well.
