Unfortunately my experience with Perpetual Petals is similar to the previous reviews. My wedding was October of 2013. I met with the owner before my wedding to place a deposit, and after my wedding to pay for the remaining amount of the bouquet preservation. On this same visit I also left my dress to be preserved. The owner works along side a dress preservation company. The main issue I encountered with PP is the communication. It’s VERYPOOR. When I originally met with the owner I was given a 6 – 9 month estimate on when the bouquet would be done. I was told the wedding dress would take a few weeks. The hand out for the dress preservation company states it takes 4 – 6 weeks. So from October 2013 after I left my bouqet and dress with the owner, through Februrary 2014, I heard NOTHING. Not a call, text, or email was received from PP. I called PP multiple times, leaving multiple voicemails and sending multiple texts on the status of my dress. I was terrified that something had happened to it! I couldn’t believe that I entrusted my wedding dress with someone that couldnt find the effort to return a phone call. I continued to be persistant and eventually received a text in March 2014 informing me that my dress was ready for pick up. So I pick up my dress. The owner apologized about the lack of communication. She told me how she had been experiencing family issues that were getting in the way of her work. I was more than understanding and willing to work with her. However, I feel that your customers are the reason why you have a business and to not return a phone call is irresponsible. This is not just an ordinary business. This is a business where your customers are trusting you to watch over and care for their sentimental keepsakes. When I picked up my dress, I inquired on the time frame the bouquet would be ready. I was told it would be ready in October 2014 around my anniversary as the owner was still behind in her work. So early July, August, I texted the owner to find out if we were still on for an October pick up. As usual no response. September comes around, no phone call, no form of contact. I had to call her multiple times and leave more voicemails which went unreturned. FINALLY in October 2014, I got her to pick up the phone. She told me she needed more time and again apologized for being behind. This was the last time I was willing to wait. She stated she needed«a few more weeks.» I gave her 6 weeks into November of this year. Typical as usual, I don’t hear anything. AGAIN I called twice, left voicemails. At this point I was so done with the unsatsifactory communication. I threatened to take legal action because I felt there were no other options to getting my flowers or money back. I was no longer willing to keep waiting and playing phone tag. Had her communication been better I would have been okay with waiting longer. As a last effort(because I was preparing to go to court over this) I decided to send the owner an email in the event she hadn’t received my phone calls. Within minutes of sending my emails I got a text from PP with a pick up date. Over the weekend I finally got my flowers back after 13months(keep in mind when I met the owner I was told 6−9months). The flowers are beautiful and I think its an awsome keepsake. I have also received many compliments on my bouquet. Its unfortunate that the communication at PP is so terrible because the owner is truly talented at what she does. If you are comfortable paying hundreds of dollars to go months and months on end without any form of communication, then you will be fine waiting for your preserved flowers. If you ever get them. If you are troubled by this review then I suggest finding another place to have your flowers preserved.

My family had a similar experience to Samantha. My sister got married in May 2013 and wanted a shadow box of her wedding bouquet. We were told the product would be ready by Christmas 2013. Christmas came and went with no call and no response to calls from members of my family. We had been asked to pay in full up front, which made this even more stressful. When we finally did get through all we heard was about her son’s medical problems. Excuse after excuse and no idea when the flowers would be ready. The bride finally got through in April 2014 and threatened a lawsuit if we didn’t get the flowers ASAP. We were finally able to get our shadow box this past weekend and the quality of the work was not worth the price. In addition, there was no apology or offer of recompense for the huge delay. My family will not go back and recommend you find someone else for this kind of service.

I had taken flowers to be freeze dried in October of 2011. For months I had tried to follow up and check on the flowers. In July of 2012 I had finally gotten a hold of the owner. She told me that she had some personal issues that had been taking a lot of her time. I explained that the flowers were from a family members funeral and that had wanted to give them to other family members. She assured me that she would contact me as soon as the flowers were done. Fast forward to June of 2013… I still have heard nothing from this woman. I can’t believe that I spent over $ 200 on her services. I feel as if I deserve a phone call. Now I am in the process of trying to get my money back. SAVEYOURMONEY! This is a great thing to do, but not here! No follow through. I am so disappointed.
