Amici Pizza II

All of the 4 stars I gave are for the tastiness of the food and fast service.
I have been wanting to say this for a while, but I mean no disrespect. The food is well made and the place looks clean but apart from that, one of the first things I noticed about Amici’s II, is that the sanitation and safety rules are not followed much.
Most of the females where tight shorts and flip flops just like the female owner. The last time I was waiting for a couple of slices, one the girls reach down to scratch the sole of her foot and then went to the back of the kitchen and started to mix lettuce in a bin, no gloves and without washing her hands!
The pants and shoes should also provide limited protection from burns or dropping heavy and/​or sharp equipment on themselves. So, the clothes issue is a safety issue as well as a sanitary one. It also looks more professional.
I then saw the guy who was making pizzas sweep the floor with dust pan and broom. He did a great job then he did not wash his hand before handling food again.
I have seen this type of mismanagement since it opened. I think that management and the owners are really responsible for making sure we get the great tasting food that Amici’s II provides and they are also are responsible for allowing the staff to disregard safety and sanitation as it has been modeled. I have seen this from day one. I remember the previous owner.
I have stayed away for years from Amici’s II despite liking the food for 2 reasons, a desire to eat low carb and what I have observed in the kitchen.
I do not suggest any uncooked food here, like salads or cold sandwiches etc… The cooked stuff is probably safe to eat. It sure tastes great.

If you sick with the pizza, garlic knots, and wings you’re fine. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT TRY the calzone! It was so disgusting we couldn’t eat it. It had some weird fluffy bland cheese I’ve never seen in my life! It was so bad I can’t even go back to eat their pizza anymore because my stomach turns thinking of the place…

Here on vacation from Ohio… Great steak subs!!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good meal!

Amici’s was hot & just outta the oven. Got home with pizza cooked to perfection and hot even after we got home and served to visiting family 10mins after pick up. Antipasti Salad was enough for four in our party and we had left overs. Great pizza and satisfying to taste buds & wallet. Thanks Amici’s on Little Rd in N.P.R.

I’ve been looking for a New York style pizza joint for a while and I finally found one! The pepperoni pizza was awesome. I definitely will be ordering delivery again!

Always our go to pizza place. It’s best to pick up the pizza and get it fresh than to wait on the delivery service. Plus if you pick it up fresh and catch the garlic knots coming right from the oven… HEAVEN!

Truly the closest thing to New York pizza I I have found in the area. Make sure you order the thin crust and not the thick crust. Also if you want your pizza extra thin ask them to make the large pizza with the medium pizza dough. They are always consistent and always tasty and always priced right. If you like thick Midwest pizza you’re not gonna like them. However if you like New York style pizza then make this place a priority.

Best pizza in New Port Richey, hands down. I grew up in New Jersey, and this place is the closest thing to what I grew up with.

Pretty great pizza for a good price! Thin crust, big pizza, and quick service! Great local place for a good slice!

Awesome New York pizza, can’t be beat in the Trinity area (except close tie with Sam’s New York Pizza on Little Rd)

Lots of cheese but skimpy on the toppings. I ordered a Hawaiian and there was very little ham and almost no pineapple.
