Great for breakfast so I decided to try for dinner. Fried chicken was very small and side portions are even smaller. My country fried steak was chewy and not very warm. If you’re looking for a good breakfast Place I would recommend caposeys but definitely not for dinner.

great breakfast place. never been here for lunch or dinner but for breakfast it’s very good. They have great bacon and the prices are reasonable. Always have the food out quickly too which I like. Its always busy for a reason and its spotlessly clean. My step father had the chicken fried steak that he said was the best he’s ever had. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. You can’t miss for breakfast!

Sucks! Horrible place. I asked for finely chopped broccoli and the idiot blue haired waitress brings it back to the cook that says he can’t chop it any finer because they’re busy. Do she brings me a knife. BF waited –9 minutes for mayo. Never coming again

My husband and I took my mom here for breakfast. We read the reviews and figured we would give it a try. I must say this was by far the WORSE place I’ve ever had breakfast at. The service was slow and the staff really didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I ordered French toast, bacon and eggs. My French Toast was like wet toilet paper to say the least. My eggs were dry and disgusting. As for the bacon it tasted and felt like it was bacon left over from 2 weeks ago. My husband and mother were equally dissatisfied with their meals. I wish I could give this place zero stars because this whole experience there was a complete waste of money and time.

First time hade great reviews in Unilocal and we’ll derserved. Best service and friendly staff and happy mood from everybody. Hade busicuts, and gravy was great and so was the fruit cup very fresh. Can’t wait to go back and try something else with friends and family.

Best Country Fried Steak I have ever had bar none. Pleasant enough hole in the wall restaurant with excellent food. It boggles the mind why anyone would patronize the Waffle House next door.

Eggs Benedict Country Style was delicious comfort food. Stuffed French Toast was creamy and wonderful. Pancakes were homemade — like what you dream of in a small town diner. Syrup served warm. Nice and clean. Great service. Overlookable downsides — strawberries weren’t fresh and no changing table in the bathroom. We would definitely go back!

Went for breakfast on Easter. It’s a very small restaurant, with little seating. Outside seating under a tent is available, but we chose to sit in side. Say a few spiders crawling on the walls, and we think it is because people were coming in and out for the outside seating area. Food was very good, but the portions were a little smaller then what we expected. Prices were fair. Service was very good, and food came out pretty quick. Good breakfast spot if you looking to eat cheap in Port Richey.

I wouldn’t normally drive to new Port Richey for breakfast but this had really good reviews so we gave it a try. Glad we did! Busy little place. Clean and very dineresque. There was a wait but we got a table fairly fast. Breakfast standouts were an excellent chicken fried steak. Crispy batter, non greasy and quality meat. Good gravy too. My husband loved their light and fluffy pancakes served with a really good warm syrup. The hash browns were crispy and non greasy. All that topped off with friendly and efficient service made for a really nice Sunday breakfast.

THISPLACEISAWSOME ! Like having dinner at Mom’s house. The grits and the chicken fried steak are dynamite! Friendly servers, big portions and clean tables. These people know how to make a ckicken fried steak. Many places serve chopped and formed frozen«chicken fried steaks» which is NOT the real deal, Caposey’s in general is just that, the real deal ! Can’t wait to try the whole menu !

After reading reviews from others we decided to check this place out. It was Sunday morning and a little busy which was a good sign. My husband had the eggs Benedict which was pretty good and I had the Greek omelet which had a little different taste. The eggs were watered down and were tasteless but there was something else I couldn’t put my finger on which was not good and after picking around at the omelette I set it aside. The hash browns tasted like they were cooked in used oil as well. I had a quarter of the waffle we shared and that was okay. Service was a little inattentive maybe because they were semi busy but my husband had to wait a while for his coffee and remind the waiter to get it. After my disappointing meal, while paying the check we were asked if everything was okay at which my husband informed them that I did not care for my meal. I rarely complain about meals and chocked it off to somewhere I didn’t care for but Instead of apologizing or offering to make it right the person said everything was made fresh and everyone’s tastebuds are different. This same person cleared the table and it was obvious that I barely touched my breakfast. She didn’t ask them if everything was okay. Since it was our first time I felt since they didn’t know us she didn’t care. Obvious also that they had«regulars» who they definitely took care of better than us. I guess we didn’t fit their clientele profile well enough for them to care about providing good service or care about the food they serve. I was offended by that remark and will definitely not return. How rude.

good reliable restaurant, great people running it, we’re local and we go there at least every 2 weeks if not more. For an honest meal, this is the place. Also for cows, hundreds of cow decorations make the place interesting.

Very good, excellent food, excellent service… highly recommend and would go back in a heartbeat! Reasonably priced too, my breakfast, which was a ton of food was $ 10 with orange juice. You could tell it was all fresh. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is very small, so that could lead to a lengthy wait, but there is a small outdoor patio with around 5 tables, this place is so good they should totally expand!

This place is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. The staff are friendly and learn your name after a visit or two. Nearly all items are made fresh(from grits to pancakes to sausage patties). There is a true family atmosphere among the staff and many of the regular customers. They bring water bowls out to dogs on the patio and think nothing of serving eggs/meat to furry friends as well. The soups are excellent. And it is one of the other places where over-easy and Benedict eggs are not overcooked repeatedly.

Best country fried steak I have ever had! My family has been coming here for 7 years, sometimes we ride bikes here or take our golf cart. Nancy always greets us by name and makes us feel right at home! Their grits are slow cooked, creamy and absolutely perfect(and I am a northerner!!! I DON’T eat grits! But now I do at Caposey’s!) The crab cake Benedict is awesome too!

This is your classic diner, but with Grandma’s cooking. The burgers are on point, and the chicken tenders are homemade. I enjoyed the pork chop and it was delicious too. Homemade honey mustard and ranch dressings for the side salads are excellent. Oh yeah. the deserts are just as good. All around great place. The employees are extremely friendly.
