The sushi rolls are fresh and can be altered per your tastes. They are very fast, have great prices and even have affordable specials. I go out of my way to eat here often so I figured that I need to post a great review!

Came here not expecting much on Valentine’s Day but was pleasantly surprised. Instead of gouging you with high prices for the holiday they had a variety of excellent specials. Natalie, our server, provided exceptional service. If you ever come here, ask for her. You will not be disappointed.

One of my favorites in the Holiday area. Always good. Prices are great and staff is friendly. I love the Volcano roll and the Crouching Tiger roll along with others. The sushi comes out faster than any other sushi place I’ve ever been to. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you like sushi you’ll love Grill One Nine.

My favorite roll is the lollipop. Didn’t know what to expect at first not from this area, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of sushi here. I like that the chefs customize the rolls for my liking. I prefer no rice and more veggies and they were happy to do so.

Awesome food and the happy hour is excellent. The wait is a bit long and parking sucks but the food is great.

Their specialty rolls are creative
Many I’d never seen before.
Had I not already ordered so much,
I probably would have ordered more!
The stand outs were the Surf and Turf
And also the Neptune roll.
I added so much wasabi to my soy sauce
That it looked like mud in a bowl!
They also have a sushi happy hour
Though I have never been.
I’ll be going there next time
I’m thinking about din-​din!

Our new favorite restaurant! You have to try their citrus sake! We came back the next day to buy bottles for our house! Food is great and so reasonable! Wish they had an outside eating area. That would totally top it off! Cant wait to go back.

The sushi is fantastic. I have tried the Short Ribs Korean Style and Seafood Tempura Dinner and they were just ok.
The seating is a bit cramped when busy and it is strange sitting elbow to elbow next to strangers. This also makes it difficult to have a conversation with the person/​people you are dining with.
For those that enjoy cocktails instead of beer & wine, they have a couple of sake cocktails but they are very small and very weak. A full bar would make this place much better.

Been going here since it opened up. The food remains wonderful but the service is terrible. In our previous visit my wife ordered a pot of tea to complement the meal the server was reminded 3 times but didn’t bring the tea until the meal was completed. Yesterday, we returned, for a late dinner, we’re seated quickly and had a drink order placed quckly. Then the waiting began. The server continued to wait on other patrons and even spend time to chit chat with the hostess without attempting to even come over to where we were seated to explain the delay. The last straw was when she pulled out a mop and bucket to take care of a recent spill in an area that no one was presently siting. Come on now, was she planning to then come over take our order? We grew tired and impatient with the treatment so we requested a check from the hostess who couldn’t figure out how to produce one. Never once during this ordeal did any management appear to find out what the problem. I hope the food remains good because this restaurant can not afford a drop off in quality to match it’s service.

Grille One Nine may be the best happy hour sushi. They also has the $ 1,$ 2,$ 3 item during the happy hour before 7 pm. The sushi rice is better than three other sushi happy hour place I have been to.
Tonight we have to pick up our car at dealer and pass by this place. I have seen Stacy visited this place before and book mark it for some time. We have ordered the spicy tuna roll, gator roll, Florida roll, and eel roll from the happy hour and order a surf and turf roll from the specialty menu. The gator roll is the is the yellowtail, tuna, atomic aioli, scallions, smelt, and tempura chip. This is a good roll. I also like their eel roll that serve a good eel.
The specialty surf and turf roll is fried lobster top with seared steak. Mmmm I like this roll. We also added the nigiri smoke salmon and freshwater eel. The service is great. Please call ahead since many come to happy hours.

Am a usual here but today I got take out. It was quick and easy to order Got a mexican roll and a tampa roll with salad with house dressing. It was oacked nicely, ready to go, and still got the lunch special price. Sushi here is affordable, delicious, and beautiful to look at.

My wife and I went there last night and we thought that the sushi was great, not only was it good but it was also cheap. Great place to go out to eat.

We love everything about this place. Great sushi and traditional dinners. The happy hour is awesome too, usually when we come in and get stuffed for half price. Highly recommend!!!

So this was the first time my husband and I visited this establishment. Nataly was our server, very polite. We came to check out their happy hour for sushi. Quality was on point, freshness and the smell of the restaurant overall was never fishy. We are very impressed and will be back atleast a few more times.

First time at this restaurant.
Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is vibrant, but the cooks don’t know how to make a filet mignon or scallops flambé.
I just about cried when my wife cut into her steak. That cow was dead and buried.
The scallops, in spite of there being all these nice colors, actually had zero flavor. Not sure it was possible until now.
Wish it was better, but if the guys behind the counter need serious training.
On a positive note, the sushi looked very good!

We made the grave error of ordering take out from this establishment. While the soups we got were heated nicely, they were, in my opinion, NOT fresh or home made The chives in the broth were so over cooked they were melting. The seafood in the Spicy Sea Food soup were over cooked and rubbery,
THE worse thing we got were the «Spring Rolls». Egads! The two slices of shrimp per roll were wooden and bland to the point of being unrecognizable as shrimp! The biggest offence was the sticky nasty raw wonton wrapper they were wrapped in. It looked like translucent flesh and was nasty to the touch and the palate.
We had tried eating in this place prior, and it was so dark in the restaurant that we couldn’t see what we were eating. After getting a look at the «spring rolls» I now believe that NOT seeing their «food’ was a much kinder act!

Excellent Sushi at amazing prices! We drive 25 minutes out of our way to come to New Port Richey for Sushi — crazy, right? Can’t come close to the sushi anywhere in the Palm Harbor area! Their happy hour lasts until 7 weekly and all sushi rolls are $ 3, we picked 6 different rolls plus $ 2 sashimi –amazing quality! The line is always out the door so get there early for Happy Hour — well worth the drive and wait. Every roll tastes perfectly fresh and all the platters going by us looked wonderful too! We love this place for sushi, we have been coming here for the past year. Pleasant and polite service. You won’t be disappointed!

Great sushi! I was skeptical to try this place because my husband and I love Ichiban in Trinity, but when we saw Grill One Nine had a $ 3 sushi roll happy hour we had to try it. It was delicious! We tried 3 rolls and they were all very tasty and fresh. My only complaint is it has a small dining area so to maximize the space you sit right next to people. It reminded me of how restaurants are in NYC. Other than that, this place is great and we will definitely be returning!

The good sushi restaurant around and always crowded everyday. Big party with a whole family sometimes too.
I am a picky eater and mostly because I can cook a lot of thing. I came here with my bf often and enjoyed our meal both of lunch and dinner. Food is good, service is wonderful with fun staff, and the restaurant is nice as well. Come here to see what it looks like and you will learn how to like sushi and more variety of the food they serve here.
