St. Angelos Pizza

I am so glad I gave Angelo’s a chance. It’s a small, home-​town kind of place that serves up a good pie!
I was greeted by two different friendly employees within 3 minutes of entering. After placing my order, the gentleman welcomed me to wait in the dining room. I had a few errands to run so I ended up coming back. My pizza (Angelo’s special) and garlic knots took 20min. When I came back in, the gentleman who took my order greeted me again by name and brought my order right up.
The pizza was pretty good. Better than I expected since I had been disappointed recently with other pizza places in the area.
As for the pizza, the veggies were fresh which made the center of the pie a tad soggy, but they were delicious and the rest of the crust was perfect! Sauce was great, toppings were great. I’ll definitely come back to Angelo’s!

This place is a Gem! Best food in New Port Richey by far. Pizza to die for. Salads fresh = the best! Wings try hot and buffalo. Garlic knots cannot get any better. If I may say the warmest friendliest staff ! Make you feel at home! If you visit NPR like we do don’t think twice try there slice!

Sorry, but myself being from Buffalo, and the owner’s being from Buffalo, the subs I got were very disappointing. This was NOT a sub, as in a Buffalo sub. It was on a tiny hoagie roll, in a styrofoam container. WHAT??? Where is the sub roll? It was very disappointing to say the least, will not order this again, and not much meat either. Hated the chopped tomatoes, they kept falling off. Though the onion rings were tasty, didn’t get much for the $ 5 I paid, but they were tasty.

Terrible service. Never got any food.

Was excited to go to a Buffalo place being born and raised there. Boy was I displeased and embarrassed. Cock roaches on the floor, spiders in the fake flower arrangements on the table started it off. The pizza was definitely not Buffalo pizza actually one of the worst I have had down here. Wings were ok but I have had better down here. Needless to say we won’t be back or recommend this place.

We just found this place. We had the sausage roll and wings yumm. We have been here from Ct. And by far the best wings we had! The sausage roll was the best I have ever had! I can’t wait to go back and try more. But with what we had and the prices I am sure it will be great! We were welcomed when we walked in and they made us feel welcome. A great place to eat.

Called to have an order placed for delivery at 830 and they told me they were done delivering for the night. Unless hours on Unilocal are incorrect, they close at 10 so an hour and a half to closing time is to close to delivery and they don’t need my business I won’t bother

Our favorite local pizza joint! You will spend more than at a chain place but it’s worth it. We have started a clean eating lifestyle but this is still my favorite cheat meal –Hawaiian pizza and garlic knots from St. Angelo’s.

First of all the guy who answers the phone couldn’t sound more annoyed that I called to order delivery.
The pizza shows up in just under an hour which is fine. I ordered a few slices of cheese a couple Chicago dogs and a medium special which is pepperoni, sausage, mushroom onion & green pepper. The onion and green pepper were raw, not cooked. The mushrooms tasted and looked like they came out of a can. The crust was good and my friend liked the cheese slices.
I have spent a lot of time in Chicago and had my share of Chicago hot dogs and even though this had some version of some of the toppings, this wasn’t a real Chicago dog. The buns were hard like they had been put on the grill. Real Chicago dogs had steamed poppy seed buns, NOT grilled. The onions were in large pieces, not diced. the relish was neon green but hardly any of it.
So for 1 medium special 5 toppings, 3 slices of cheese and 2 chicago dogs it was over $ 40 with tip. That is way too high to me, especially if you are going to get raw veggies on the pizza and a look-​a-​like Chicago hot dog.
Not again for me.

My husband and I recently re-​located to the area. We cannot get enough of this place! Very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Very nice staff as well.

This place is legit. If you’re from Buffalo or understand what buffalo pizza and wings are all about, this place is a little bit of home. They have tons of sports memorabilia in there including a box of FLUTIE FLAKES! My husband and I have ordered many times and even dined-​in. Solid wings, good pizza, great time!

Bad on a couple of fronts. Ordered at 5:45PM, told it would be 45min to hour, fine, very reasonable. 6:20PM they call and say they never received my CC exp. date. Great, they should be out soon. 7:30PM, call and find out where it is, they say it’s on the way, but the «big holdup» was my exp. date? Really? You didn’t even ask for it, and did you not start cooking until you got that? Why not call me sooner? So 7:55PM (2 hrs, 5 minutes later) the pizza shows up, not hot. Calzone was good because of the filling, dough on both that and the pizza was thick around crust, and extremely flavorless. Literally flour and water, and not much else. If I was in the mood for bland, room temperature food, this would be just my kind of place. Especially disappointing because they came so highly recommended from other review sites, a definite shame. Also very pricey, $ 25 for one plaint pizza and calzone, plus the tip. So we’re talking about 30 bucks for really mediocre pizza, I could get that at Little Caesars in 5 minutes.

It was awesome… and they do deliver. A little pricey too.
