I recently purchased a Bosch microwave from Colonial after a bad experience at another big box store. The customer service was great. They offered free delivery and beat the price of their competitor. I needed the microwave installed and they gave me the number of a person they use. The installer called me back the same day and arrived the following morning. I will be back for all my appliance needs.

My wife and I purchased a LG washer and dryer in August. The sales process and delivery work perfectly as all staff were extremely courteous and professional. After using the washer, it did not clean the clothes very well. This top load washer did not even cover the clothes with water and upon finishing some were still not even wet. We complained to Colonial and they sent out one of their professional servicemen. He investigated and suggested the washer was working as designed, but understood they some of these new washers are designed to use a limited amount of water for energy efficiency reasons. He suggested we call LG which we did. They admitted there had been numerous complaints and the issue had been handed over to their engineering department with no resolution thus far. We demanded LG either fix the problem or take the washer back. They refused. They gave us one of their authorized servicemen to call which we did several times. No one answered nor did they return our calls.
We went back to Colonial and shared the story with Carl who understood. He went to work to get LG to take the washer and dryer back so we could get a replacement. It took time working with LG, but Carl was successful in the end thanks to his persistence and desire to make us a satisfied customer. We now have a new Maytag washer and dryer that work perfectly. Thank you Carl as we highly recommend you and your staff to anyone wishing to purchase products from your store. You are one of the very few stores that stand behind your products and service.

I’ve used Colonial for 15 years for an assortment of appliance purchases, most recently a replacement dishwasher. Good price, no sales pressure and competent install. No need to go to a big box store. The one star deduction was because I’d would have liked a little more notice on the install scheduling– two calls to installer and store before call back. Overall, good price, no drama, quick and easy.
