Bad pizza and rude service, why would I return with better options nearby? Flavorless sauce, cheap cheese… High prices for what you get.

Went to Bellariva’s for the first time a few days ago. We had a small party for my mom’s 90th birthday. The kitchen staff and waitress were so nice and accommodating. We were able to bring our own cake, Balloons and wine. The food was really good and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. It was nice to find a place that was so welcoming and friendly to us.

9:00PM Sunday they are open to 10:30 pm, I’ve been calling since 9 pm great way to loose a great customer NOONEANSWERSTHEPHONE? You call that good service? I’ve been ordering from here 4⁄5 years now. NEVERAGAIN I can promise you that… Now I see why your ratings are falling lower and lower… with customer service like this, you know where you can stick your pies now. Joey J said it perfect on the rude service part also, I also have had encountered very rude service on a few pick-ups myself, and witnessed other customs getting Free low class service keep that attitude Bellarvia this was the straw that broke the camels back so to say SEEYOUNEVERAGAIN.

Ordered pizza here twice. Once for pick-up, once for delivery.(Large plain and large white.) Both times, it was ok. Pizza was average for NJ, meaning better than average on a national basis. Delivery was on-time. Not that best I’ve ever had, but it got the job done. The large salad we got seemed fresh.

This is really a 3.5 star review, but I’ll round it up since the pizza is really good. We tried this place back in May and I really, really enjoyed the pizza; it was flavorful and very tasty. We had also gotten wings and garlic bread, but these were really only average; I doubt I would get them again. The pizza is good enough to want me to try some of the other dishes though and I’ll definitely be back again!

I really WANT to like this place. They probably have the best pizza in town, but they are so SLOW!

Bellariva has great service, it’s clean and their food is basic pizzeria Italian but very consistent and good quality. They should offer whole wheat and gluten-free pasta and pizza. The kids love the Ice Cream Truffles but it’s a little pricey at $ 5 for a scoop. The Christmas decorations are still up on 1⁄15 but the décor is updated and pleasant looking.

Very good food. Sometimes something isn’t quite perfect(eg, no bacon on a bacon cheeseburger), but my favorite delivery place around. Good pizza, good Italian(I’d recommend the tortellini Michelangelo), but for an Italian place, their other stuff is surprisingly good: wings, burgers, cheesesteaks, etc. plus THE fastest delivery in the area. And when they say they’re open until 1030, they’ll take a delivery order at 1029. Highly recommended!

I have pleasantly surprised by how great the food and service is! I have eaten in and order delivery. Their pasta dishes are all really tasty and come in generous portions(with salad and bread), their pizza has a great sauce and their chicken wings are amazing! With so many pizza places in the area, Bellariva’s is top on my list!

Ok, this is not Italian Gourmet — but for $ 10 bucks or less you are going to eat well and enjoy it. The pizza is great — I love the sauce… it reminds me of the pizza of my youth. Sandwiches are excellent and the service is good too. It’s very casual, clean and the staff is friendly. You can eat cheap here and still call it a good meal.

Inconsistent at best… dining in on a fri or sat night = be ok. Takeout & any other day you never know. Eggplant parm frozen. not breaded and skin still on. Ordered a plain slice tasted bland, way too much cheese & and wasn’t even heated all the way through. Another horrible aspect is there is a middle aged customer there everyday who sits outside chain smoking, so you can’t even enjoy being outside.

Straight forward Italian red sauce and favored local place. Scungilli and pasta is my staple. Dishes are not fancy but arrive hot and are well prepared. Pizza is good too through much competition nearby. BYOB.

Was looking for authentic jersey style pizza… Found it I think:). Good pizza, reasonable prices. Would recommend.

Been coming here for 20 years. Never ever had a bad meal here and I’ve experienced a lot from pizza, to chicken wraps, chicken parmesan, calzones, subs, etc. Penne vodka sauce is the best I’ve ever had; very authentic. High recommend. Also recommend the buffalo chicken pizza. Prices are very reasonable as well and you get good portions. Entrees for takeout came with bread, salad and side of pasta. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Love the delivery! So hard to find delivery in my area… but they deliver and it’s always hot and the delivery guys are always great. I have the manacotti and I ask for pink sauce and they are always happy to accommodate. Pizza is good but the pasta is awesome!

Whenever I am in the mood for Italian for dinner, this is the place that i go to, hands down. I guess that a lot of the locals prefer the other Italian place nearby, Coppola resturant, but i found that i personally like the pastas and the garlic bread here much better. Not to mention that everyone that works here is so nice and friendly, and you simply cannot go wrong with the prices!

Honestly the default place to eat in new providence. I usually eat here 5 times a week over the summer with friends. The staff is very friendly, the food is great(and cheap), the only complaint I could think of is that their cuisine/sandwiches/not pizza is over shadowed by local competing pizzeria coppolla’s. Regardless, the pizza gives bellariva good justice and gives coppolla’s a run for their money. 4⁄5

*This review is for the pizza only* The pizza is great. Doesn’t fall apart when you pick up a slice and all the toppings come off. Had the pepperoni and my friend the sausage. Both were very pleased. They do load up the toppings so basically every bite has whatever topping you ordered. The sauce tastes fresh and not that packaged crap you get elsewhere. Prices are moderate and they have a good menu for sandwiches, salads, pasta or entrée’s. The pizza maker is friendly and welcoming. It’s a BYO. I ordered to go but the inside is small at least what I saw but the décor is nice(tables with nice chairs as opposed to those tables with plastic chairs that are welded to the table). Will be returning to try their sandwiches. Pizza is the better of the few in the area, and that’s saying a lot.

Quite the opposite of what I expected, they serve Americanized Italian dishes. They have both take out and table service. Portions are generous and thy give free salad. Their garlic bread made our meal. Pasta is average at best though they are quite busy on a weeknight mainly from the pizza takeout.
