I have had the pleasure of having Posto 22 cater a 50th high school reunion and a family reunion. Both parties were a huge success with marvelous food and expert delivery and service. Nick is the manager and is quite helpful with his suggestions. At the family reunion we ordered chicken parmigiana, chicken martini, penne alla vodka, rigatoni with broccoli in garlic & oil, mini meatballs and potato croquettes. Everything was delivered hot, on time and was superb. The family enjoyed all the food and the kids had chicken fingers and french fries. Keep up the good work Nick.

Having heard a lot about this place with great reviews I decided to give it a try for Restaurant Week with my mom. Being a cook and in the city and exposed to another level of food, I am always hesitant to try restaurants in Westchester and this place gave me more reason to be. The food was decent, could have used more seasoning and was a little bland, then again it was restaurant week so I won’t be to critical on that. Service was rushed and not attentive and two dishes that I had were plated on chipped plates. I’d definitely will go back to try their a la carte menu on another night but based on this experience, a little too much hype for what I experienced.

Ok, so last night I went to Posto with a friend. I was told that they have a new chef. Well, to my surprise the food was amazing. We started off with a cold antipasti. Delicious. I had the chicken Marsala. Chicken was moist and juicy, not dry. String beans were cooked to perfection. Not hard and crunchy like they just came off the vine. Don’t like that. They offered half off on bottles of wine. And ended our dinner with a tartufo. I have to say, Nick who is the manager there absolutely knows what he’s doing. He has turned this restaurant around. Great job Nick!!! Thank you

Went here for the end of New Rochelle Restaurant Week… Decided to stick with their RW menu. Ordered the«chicken lollipops»… Expected chicken on skewers in a sweet sauce… Got wings, albeit good wings, but these were no chicken lollipops… They were WINGS! Lol. Tried their pomegranate martini/Cosmo… YUM! Entrée, chicken porcini… Was okay… Dessert: cheesecake. YUM! Our waitress,(she was Sandy from Grease tonight) was pleasant enough… Not too hovering, but attentive. Other waitstaff cleared dishes quickly… Why three stars? I wasn’t blown away by the food and… One of the wait staff extended the lip of the water jug into my friend’s water glass. Germ transfer ratio jumped to 1000. I’m not a complete germophobe, but that creeped me out! Otherwise… Okay food(maybe it’s because it was RW…), beautiful restaurant, nice waitstaff.

Travelled up to New Rochelle for a baptism lunch with the boyfriend, the party of 50 was seated right away with some inside the party room and the rest outside of it. We were greeted with some punch drinks that was too sweet but overall good, service was great and the servers kept our glasses full the entire time, choice of white or red sangria. The servers did not disappoint they kept coming around with different dishes from pasta to pizza and everything in between. Everything was good and surprisingly nothing fell in between the cracks which usually something end up happening when there’s a party of 50. I didn’t have time to stay for coffee but they were helpful enough for me to have it to go. I probably won’t come back only because of the distance between south of Queens and New Rochelle.

Service is somewhat fast although rather unfriendly. The gravy is just OK. Started with arancini, meatballs and scallops. Scallops were boring with a sauce that had separated. Meatballs were on the small side, 5 to a plate and just oK. Arancini was overfried but nice on the inside. Gnocchi bolognese was disappointing — heavy, slightly gummy with a sauce that was more sour than savory?

I can’t say as I have a favorite dish as everything I’ve eaten here is excellent. Salads are more than enough to share. Service is always the best. If you like quiet — we sat, for the first time, in the back room. Really enjoyed not hearing the usual din in restaurants. Not that other areas that loud.

I’m going to start off by saying this: I was rushed and spoken over while ordering. Not a good start. I then was asked for a coupon number, when I told them I had a check-in Unilocal discount. I have yet seen an Unilocal discount code. I asked if the 5% discount was still going on and politely asked for it to be honored. Not that 5% is a lot, but hey, this is one of the reasons why I practically check in everywhere– the cool deals. The food– Meh, I think I spent too much for what was presented. I got the wheat pasta– wasn’t seasoned very well and very very oily, parmesan fries were perfectly made and included a really tasty ketchup– not sure if it was homemade. The garlic bread was mush, but the rolls were absolutely perfect. So you see it’s a «meh» feeling I’m having with this place. The price– a tad bit expensive for the taste, but not too overly priced. Great during happy hour. Neighborhood– reminded me of Old Town in San Diego. Peaceful and cute surrounding area. Seems decent. I want to give it another try and taste the cheese ravioli.

Always a pleasure ordering from Posto 22. We get our delivery within 45 minutes, The food is tasty — I especially like the chicken parmigiana with vegetables as a side, and their to-die-for chocolate mousse. On two occasions I have ordered liquid Klondike but it wasn’t available — both times, someone called within 5 minutes of sending the order to advise it wasn’t available and to give options — I love that they do this instead of just striking it off my order. It also tells me that they care about their customer. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side since our orders are normally for 3+ but always worth the price…

Thank you for making my son’s baptism complete with your food! This past Sunday we had Posto 22 cater our son’s baptism outside in picnic area. We ordered the salmon, chicken martini, roasted potatoes, penne a la vodka and tossed salad. This order came with their delicious focaccia bread. The salmon was grilled and a bit over cooked but so delicious! The food was great and food was delivered just in time! We will definitely order from them again. Also, they were willing to bake a vegan cake for us but we ordered late:-(thank you for trying to accommodate us!

Oh, man, the hidden gems you find when you actually LOOK around as you’re walking. Let me just say this much, the chicken martini was possibly the best chicken I’ve eaten in years. Every thing else we ordered was fantastic, too.

Came here awhile back and completely forgot to write a review. This will be quick. Great little restaurant with a wonderful list of wine choices. Food was delicious and portion sizes were great. Go in hungry and leave happy and tipsy :-)

Excellent meal had while on business in the area. The restaurant is cozy, there are two bar areas… one that is smaller and has high tops perfect for that business traveler dining alone wanting a good meal and to watch the game. The menu was nicely ranging across traditional italian fare. I went off the appetizers ordering the buratta and mussels. Both were very flavorful and tasty. Wine list has reasonable breadth and the two glasses I went with paired well. The service was quick and responsive. I placed the order for the buratta and before I knew it the order was in front of me. The second glass of wine I ordered was a little delayed, but as soon as the bartender brought it she apologized for not brining it out immediately. Not a big problem at all, but that attention to service and detail was not lost on me. If I find myself back in the area, I will likely stop back for a nice relaxing well made meal!

Second trip here for lunch. Quaint little place with a nice, clean interior and good lunch specials(and plenty of specials from which to choose). They bring you nice, warm bread once you’re settled in, which is fabulous with a little olive oil, balsamic, & pepper. Service is adequate though the staff will never be accused of being TOO warm or friendly. Parking available on the street and, very conveniently, across the street as well. Food was brought out in a good amount of time and was delicious(I had the Chicken Napolitano and pasta e fagioli soup). The soup could have had a little more flavor but a little pepper and Parmesan cheese spruced it up. Be warned that the lunch specials’ portions aren’t large by any means but it hit the spot and was enough for me to not be hungry any longer. It was a nasty day out and the restaurant was not super crowded so I feel that the staff who watched us walk out could have at least acknowledged our departure, thanked us for coming in today, or invited us back. The lack of the little extra prevents me from giving this a higher rating. 3.5(which I rounded up to 4 stars) would have been the appropriate rating based on my experience.

Enjoyed my first dinner of 2015 here. As others have noted the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks. It was freezing cold out so I ordered a hot toddy. It was a warm lemon drink flavored with cloves and honey I really enjoyed it. Our calamari starter was excellent– batter was light and non greasy and the squid was tender. Mains were spaghetti bolognese and potato pizza. The bolognese was rich and hearty the sauce had depth. The potato pizza was light but could have used a bit of black pepper, Rosemary and red pepper flakes. The crust was very good. Service was excellent we were well looked after and the hostess was particularly attentive. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. We would definitely return.

We called the restaurant up at about 6:40pm on a Friday night and they told us that there weren’t any reservations available until 8:30pm. We showed up at 6:50PM anyway and got a bit worried. The place was completely packed but they seated us within 5 minutes. Yay! Everyone comes here’s nicely dressed and the atmosphere is a bit more upbeat for their relatively romantic atmosphere. Their wine by the bottle pricing is pretty solid which ironically didn’t really have many wines from Italy… They started us off with some great warm bread. Nothing really innovative about the menu… It’s your typical cookie cutter Italian restaurant menu… I went with the grilled pork chops and wife went with their Chilean seabass. Flavors were good on both entrees but my pork chops were supposed to be medium but I got well done. The Seabass was also cooked a bit too much. The service was excellent and the location is very convenient. Lots of street parking(not free) and a huge parking garage across the street.

Great place, nice ambiance, fantastic and attentive service. Favorite bartender/waitress = Christina :) FYI the menu on their website is slightly different than the one presented at the restaurant. The in-print one has a few other options. They also have an optional prix fixe on Mondays that includes appetizer or salad and desert. It was pretty quiet on Monday night. I ordered the cesar salad, Pappardella Porcini, and took my Tiramisu desert to go because I was so full. The bread is really tasty and hard to resist so I made the horrible mistake of filling up on it before my food arrived. The sauce for the Pappardella Porcini is amazing and still tasted good when I heated up my leftovers the next day. The food was delicious but they lost one star for pasta that was too firm. I had a side of penne. When they say Al Dente they mean it. If you like your pasta a little more on the tender side you should let your waitress know. I am going back tonight with my friends for their new $ 20 Lobster Thursdays plus they have $ 3 olive martinis and mixed drinks. Go on their website to check out the daily specials.
