Eric Munzer, DO

My daughter had severe ear infection and was started on Ciprodex by her pediatrician. The second day the pain was very severe my daughter rated the pain worse then her fractured humerus. I took her back to the pediatrician and she got us an immediate appointment with Dr Munzer. We had booked a trip to the outer banks the next day and all my daughter wanted to do is be able to swim in the ocean. I could tell Dr Munzer was finished with his appointments for the day and he waited for us to arrive. He took us right in and used suction to clean debris out of her ear and promised her she will feel much better in the morning and would be able to go on vacation. His bedside manner was impeccable. He was sooo nice. He told us that he will see her in the morning prior to going on our trip. The office staff made an early appointment for us. The next day my daughter felt 99% better and she was swimming by monday (with an ear plug of course). Dr Munzer saved our vacation by making my daughter feel better. We are very grateful for him and hid wonderful office staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Working in healthcare, I’ve become especially critical of doctors but the staff at ENT are some of the nicest folks in medicine. Whether it’s a secretary, audiologist, nurse, or physician, everyone is always helpful and kind.
Dr. Munzer specifically is exceptional. He has a kind disposition, is extremely thorough, and is beyond patient. While most physicians would have dismissed my symptoms as minor and ignored my near constant complaining,
Dr. Munzer listened and was extremely knowledgeable, arranging a number of appropriate tests which led to the diagnosis of a tumor.
Through the entire process, he took the time to explain everything and ensured that I understood the information and his instructions. I have recommended him to friends and highly recommend him to anyone with ENT issues.

After having severe hoarseness of the throat, I went to Dr. Munzer. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. After following his treatment plan, I followed up 2 weeks later and everything was fine. I would definitely go back to him again and I recommend him to anyone with ENT problems. Thank you, Dr. Munzer!
