Pizza Mia

I’ve done take-​out several times since my last review. Late yesterday afternoon, I had friends helping me move and I ordered a large pie to be delivered. I was originally quoted as 45 minutes for a wait time. The food arrived within probably 20 minutes.
The price was higher than it used to be, hence dropping my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. The delivery person said it was $ 17 (before the tip). The receipt taped to the box had no price on it, so there was no way of verifying.
As I said in my last review, the staff here are very courteous and friendly. They go out of their way to make you happy. The wait times are always very fast. Great service and good food.

My go-​to for yummy delivery! The staff rocks, delivery is fast and polite– and the menu always solidly delish. I can never get enough of the spinach & tomato white pie!

Absolutely the best pizza we have ever had! My husband and I often eat lunch here. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here and I’m a very picky eater! My husband is Italian and says the sauce on their pizza is just like his mothers’. I especially enjoy the Ala Vodka &mozzarella pizza. My husbands favorite is the pesto. The service is amazing ! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable and they do have specials. You must try!

This place was fantastic!
We don’t live in the area but stopped by looking for a quick lunch. I was even looking for a pizza place and as my husband drove down the road, I shouted out «Pizza!!» when I saw the sign.
The guy working behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up getting the lunch special of an eggplant parm sandwich, garlic knots and a soda. The food and service were excellent! I slapped my husband’s hand away as he reached for more garlic knots.
This place was just what we were looking for. My only regret is that they aren’t in PA. If you have the chance to go to Pizza Mia then do so! You will not regret it.

Place is pretty good, love the garlic knots, very good customer service. They always say hello and cut up my daughters pizza without me even asking. Food is always hot made to order. Have yet to try buffalo chicken pizza, I think they should showcase that more. There is a wide variety and always specials. They have bottled beer and wine. Good family oriented atmosphere. I come here at least twice a week. Compared to the other pizza places around town this one is spot on. Ample parking always. Plus the Ems station in town always orders from here so that’s gotta say something

I reviewed the other Pizza Mia too but this place is so delicious I had to do this one as well. I’m in love with the gourmet slices. I always mix it up but I’m a big fan of pesto anything and alla vodka slices. The guy who works at this place works so hard!

Ordered for the first time yesterday afternoon for pickup. Pizza was ready in exactly 15mins, the staff was very friendly and greeted us right away. We ordered a plain cheese and grilled chicken pizza both were delicious. Definitely plan to order again!

Good pizza. Very good chicken Parmesan dinner or hero made by Chef RJ. They make an excellent sausage and pepper roll.

Mike the owner was fantastic. Brought in a large party of 22 and he was very accommodating. Pizza was fantastic, wind were fantastic and the garlic knots were out of this world. Highly recommend.

Yummy pizza and excellent service at both New Windsor and Newburgh locations. Definitely worth a visit!

I ordered a garlic pie tonight, OMG it was good, it was delivered in New Windsor in about 25 minutes in a snow storm!!! Can’t say enough, also had a gluten free pie for my kids, good size and delicious!

This is a tough review to write because the service was so good. By that I mean they ask you repeatedly how everything is — forcing my wife and I to politely lie.
This place isn’t on my beaten path so I had only been here once before — about a year ago. I went with a colleague from work and it was great. The pizza was fresh and delicious. I remember telling my wife about it because she’s a pizza-​holic. Today we had an appointment near here and i thought it would be a good time to turn her on to it.
We spotted a special on a sign outside touting 2 plain slices and a medium fountain drink for $ 5.40. Perfect, says we. We both love plain pizza and believe its a bellwether for every other offering in a pizzeria. We planned to get the special and also each get a slice of the specialty pizza I remembered from my earlier visit. It was Noon. On a Wednesday. You would think everything would be at their peak of freshness. Not today.
Nothing in the case looked like it had been made today. I was ready to bail but we wouldn’t have found another place and been on time for our appointment. The thing was, these guys were proud of what they were offering. We swallowed hard and ordered. The special, a slice of Chicken Ala Vodka and a slice of Chicken Bacon Ranch. To our silent horror the plain pie was whisked from its hiding place from UNDER the counter. It looked oldest of all. Not much more to say. Everything tasted like it was old, dry pizza over-​re-​heated in my oven at home. The crust on the specialty pizza slices were so hard it was chewing a Milkbone.
More lies were given in response to their questions regarding our satisfaction and we were banged $ 4.00 a slice for the old specialty pizza for our trouble. The lunch crowd was thin and we weren’t surprised.

I am always skeptical about restaurants I find in my hotel guide, but this place is the real deal. Fast delivery and excellent staff. They delivered right to my door at the hotel and the food was so good. Everything from the specialty pizza to the salad was on point. A definite must try if you are looking for good pizza in the area.

The only problem with this place, is that the pizza is so good that it makes it extremely difficult to order the fantastic grilled chicken salad that I’m enjoying today. The truth is, you really can’t go wrong when ordering. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is excellent, and the guys in there seem like they really care about the overall customer experience.

My favorite pizzeria!!! Always have great choices when you walk in… Recently tried the buffalo chicken bacon ranch slice, needless to say I couldn’t put it down, just delicious… The sauce is always great, and you can buy a jar to take home. The garlic knots are always on point, and the sauce is ‘the icing on the cake!’

Pizza Mia is a family run pizza restaurant and I love it. Great service, delicious pies, and feels like a friendly local neighborhood joint.
