Nice people, fast service, inexpensive. Great location too! They got a tough stain out of my clothes and accomplished it in a day. And most importantly did it with a smile. Doesn’t get better than this!

For the second time, I had (one of) the most harrowing experiences of my life: I left my credit cards, ATM card, ID, and cash in my pant pocket before sending it out to the laundry; these are practically my WHOLE life in one bundle! Both times, 58 Laundry came through with finding them, securing them and returning them. It’s a great feeling and much relief to LOSE something dear and then FINDING it back. 58 Laundry is amazing, awesome and professional. I am trusting them more and more. And it goes without saying that they do an extraordinary good job with my laundry. The clothes go out in a mangled mess, but always come back rehabilitated, fresh, clean, perfectly folded and sorted. It is well worth the money — really. In contrast, it is not worth spending 3 hrs of my weekend doing it myself, and which usually end up undry. 58 Laundry takes great care of its customers. A few times, I had requested same day service, and they were able to accommodate, and did so graciously. I will continue to have 58 Laundry handle my laundry … perhaps, FOREVER! We use this place as our regular weekly laundry service, as there are no facilities in our building. Fei is always cheerful and knows us by name.
GREAT customer service. Our washing is always done promptly, properly, and if we have any special instructions they are always followed. Dry cleaning is the same deal.
Yes, its a bit pricey– but thats the neighborhood. There are no laundromats, and having done my research I can tell you that the prices they charge are absolutely average across the board for the area.
I cannot emphasize enough how professional, friendly, and helpful Fei is. We’re lucky to have her nearby!

I have been going to this place for over two years now, and I could not have asked for a better neighborhood place. I drop off my laundry every single week in the morning, and they always have it ready for me later on that evening which is super convenient when you need clothes ASAP. Not only do they do everything in a timely manner but they are very professional and they have gets stains out of my clothes, even the toughest one.
They also do same day dry cleaning for shirts and suits, and best of all they deliver when you actually expect them to.

I just moved in across the street from this little gem. As far as the laundry goes it is that same price if not lower than everywhere else that doe laundry in the city. It is the service and the owners that will keep me coming back. This place is owned by a husband and wife team who work hard 7 days a week. Everything I come in they are friendly and my clothes are always done when they said they will be done. I recently left my precious item in the pockets of my pants and when I called the next day the owner found it for me and held it all day until I could pick it up. I couldn’t ask for more.

I was in town on business for 5 weeks and after reading the reviews here on Unilocal i decided to give it a go. The service was good, and I have no problems. The price is one of the lowest around this area and my clothes came back looking very nice and sharp. I would recommend this place to anyone around this part of town.

I’ve been using Fei’s for about 8 months now. They always do a good job and turnaround your laundry pretty quickly. From moving around the city a bunch, I can say they are definitely an above-​average service.

I’ve been here twice now and definitely plan to go back.
I got pants hemmed, which worked out really well and was relatively inexpensive ($ 12).
I got 13 lbs of laundry cleaned and folded ($ 13.75).
The staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful.
The service has been timely. I have no complaints.
The location is very convenient.
**Recently had a mix up, got some lady’s panties and she got mine. It was all ultimately retrieved but still kind of annoying.

I recently moved to Manhattan for an internship and was surprised that self-​service laundromats are seemingly non-​existent in this part of town. So I gave in to having someone do my laundry for me. Fei’s was the first place I tried since its location is convenient, but I’m sorry to say that I don’t think I’ll be coming back here now that I’ve tried Triple Eight Cleaners over on E. 51^st .
First time I came here for the regular wash-​dry-​fold service, I was well aware that the minimum weight for the service was 8 lbs. Unfortunately I was just one pound shy of this minimum, so I had to run back home (which fortunately is only two blocks away) and grab a couple more things to be washed. The receipt the guy gave me said my laundry would be ready for pick-​up after 4 p.m. I arrive at 4:15 p.m. to pick up my laundry, and… it’s not ready. So I have to go back AGAIN to really pick up my laundry, and when I go home, I find I’m missing a sock. BLAH.
OK, first time wasn’t so great, but I decided to give the place a second chance. I drop off my laundry in the morning before work, and though my load was only 7.5 lbs. this time, he let it slide, didn’t say anything about it at all actually, and let me just pay the minimum $ 8.50 for 8 lbs. Thank God. Pick-​up went smoothly this time, and I was able to get my clean clothes around after work the same day. Unfortunately, one of my jackets was still noticeably damp AND I was missing one of the bra pads from one of my sports bras.
This place was OK, but I hate that something was missing from my laundry every time I got it back. If I’m going to be paying for laundry service at all, I want to know that everything I handed off to them will be there and clean and that it’ll be 100% dry when I get it back. Because honestly, I’d rather do it myself than take it to a laundry service. At least if something is missing I know it’s my own fault, and I can go search for the missing item (s) in the washer/​dryer.

Staying at a hotel nearby, I took my dress to be pressed at 9am. Although I would have liked it sooner, they committed to 4pm. I called at 3pm to check and they had it ready.

We were staying at a nearby hotel, but didn’t want to pay the exorbitant rates for the hotel to clean our clothes. Dropped off a suitcase full of dirties with Fei and picked them up clean the next day!

This place is located right b/​w work and my subway home. Being equally fed up with ironing my own shirts and paying 3.50 to have them dry cleaned I decided to try their laundry service.
I was a little nervous when I dropped my shirts off as I was not sure the woman working there quite understood what I wanted, and was downright shocked that I didn’t need them back in a rush.
When I returned to pick up the shirts, they looked great, the younger man working their was very nice and at 1.90 each its pretty much half the cost of dry cleaning.
This will certainly become my regular place. They also have dry cleaning and alterations, neither of which I have yet tried.

Useful Midtown spot.
I went here to get some alterations done on a pair of dress slacks and I was extremely satisfied with the end-​result ($ 11 total). And they were able to do it on a one day turnaround.
I can only comment on this particular service since this was all that I got done but I know this will be my spot for any future alterations.
