My first time at this place was when a co-worker left the company. They boasted a large selection of beer, but at the time, they hadnt received their shipment yet. No one’s fault, really, but it was disappointing! Either way, I tried a couple of dark beers and not gonna lie, it was an experience! Didnt have any food there but the food that was coming out smelled GREAT and the price looked decent. The bar tender was super friendly and was great at giving suggestions in terms of what we should try next. He definitely made it a good time!

Overall, I was disappointed especially being in Manhattan. It’s a large space, but I feel like this is the restaurant owner’s first rodeo. It’s rough around the edges: the Korean food was not even good, portions were small, only a couple beers on tap(really?), service was pretty bad, and it took forever to get our food. I wouldn’t even call this Korean food — maybe botched Ameri-korean. They have an appetizer called«volcano chicken»(or similar) which was absolutely incredible. Make sure to give that a try, have a beer, and go get dinner somewhere else.

First time at this place. got there early. like early before my friends got there. Yeah thanks for being late!!! The bar area is very small with limited seating but cool. It’s got a gigantic screen which you really cannot see well from the bar so not very practical. The bar table is lit with some yellow tinted glass which hinders you from reading the paper thin yellow menu. HOWEVER, the best part of it was the bartender(Sammie). Nice girl, friendly and made it worth waiting for my friends. She recommended tacos, seafood pancakes and bool dak(spicy chicken with cheese on top). I have to say that the tacos are not the best on the menu; over seasoned and the pork is over seasoned. Bool Dak was not so bad since it is served on a skillet with fresh lettuce to wrap your chicken, but could use less sauce. I personally really liked the seafood pancake. It is hard to get it right since the outside has to be crispy while the inside remains moist and chewy. This one is for sure the best so far. I did also try their kimchee fried rice but I can make it better. It lacked essential over fermented kimchee which needs to be fried just enough on sesame oil to contain the taste. I always enjoy a good fried egg on the top. I like the fact that they have gluten free beer(Bard’s) and have a great atmosphere for just chillin after work or meeting up with friends. Not a place for a solid meal but more of a drinking place with their selection of craft beers. Trappistes Rochefort(11.8% alcohol) has an interesting taste… ahahah… give it a try. it’s DARK and will get you a good buzz. I’ll be back definitely, not for the food but a cool place to chill.
