One star for cheap! But for cheap, you will get one of the most terrible mani-​pedis in the entire city, careless service, and gross service!

I would also give this place a zero if I could. Dirty salon, no new colors, rush and crap paint job. No positives. In a neighborhood full of salons, I recommend going someplace else.

A sign outside advertising mani + pedi for $ 20 pulled me in. I needed both. No waiting. Choose your color and have a seat. The technician did a good job. Quick. Friendly. A great deal for the $

I stopped by for a lunchtime manicure/​pedicure and was treated to a vigorous argument between a customer and one of the technicians.
Apparently, the technician had done a poor job on the woman’s pedicure and she wanted to leave without finishing.
Instead of letting the customer leave, both the technician and another employee (manager, I think) proceeded to argue for about five minutes, while I, and the other waiting customers proceeded to leave.
Not only was the service unprofessional, but the color selection was poor and the salon seemed unusually dirty and poorly maintained. For example: I was thirsty so I had some water from the water cooler while I was waiting. The water was foul tasting and cloudy and I think it has been sitting in the cooler a very long time.

I’m really surprised by the low reviews Beauty Concept Spa has gotten. I’ve been coming here for a while now since I work near by and every time have had a good experience. In fact, I’m currently sitting in the pedicure chair while I write this review having a great foot massage. She even massaged every single toe on both feet and scrubbed them well.
Now that I’m done, I can continue typing. The polish job was excellent and precise. She was detailed in her polish work and made sure there wasn’t any excess left on my fingers or toes. The hand massage was wonderful and she was friendly. Overall my total came to $ 34.50. $ 31.99 for the mani pedi + tax + $ 1 for quick dry. Not including tip. For an affordable mani pedi, this is a good place to go. It’s better than the $ 20 combo places around the corner and less expensive than Spa Belles on the opposite side of the block.
You also have to remember that this is not Red Door Spa. It’s a small family owned place with 5 pedi chairs and 5 manicure stations. I’m not sure why the other reviewers had such bad experiences but I’ve been here many times and it’s my favorite place to go.

This place was horrible! It was my first time and the woman seriously cut my finger while cutting my cuticles and using an over sized cuticle nipper. She was unpleasant, un friendly and did a horrible job with the polish and shaping/​filing my nails. Will never ever go back! My finger is infected!

I was in desperate need of a mani/​pedi and had gone here once a while back and don’t recall having a bad experience here and so I recently came back to have my dog paws pampered.
They have a decent deal for a mani/​pedi that costs $ 33 w/​o tip which is lower than the usual $ 40+ combination. I came in just before the end of the work day and it was half full but I was easily accommodated.
Here are the reasons WHY I am giving them a very low score:
1) they barely buffed the dead/​coarse skin from my heels and soles which is something I really look forward to during every pedicure. The pedicurist did a sloppy and terrible job painting my toe nails.
2) the same thing happened with my manicure, the same woman did not paint my entire finger nail after pushing my cuticles back and it was overall, a terrible job.
I think a lot of her rush job was due to business picking up a LOT soon after I strolled in and I noticed they told every single customer who walked in to take a seat and that the wait would only be 5 minutes.
There’s far too many other nail salons to ever have to come back here. My nail polish on both my hands and feet started peeling less than one week after it was done!
