I am visiting NYC currently and I’m from California. I shop at Bebe regularly wherever I may be… I’ve worked and managed high end retail stores before and not that I’m much blown away with exceptional or even good customer service anywhere I go but this staff was APPALLING. They were not interested in doing their job. They talked amongst themselves, they were so rude it was incredible. Firstly, I wouldn’t have hired any of them but I’d definitely FIRE every last one of them. Lol, they were all miserable pieces of work and this review is not intended to be nasty. Just straight real. I had a sad experience, I was in a great mood with money to burn and they kept most of it in my pockets. Worst retail experience of my life.

I usually turn to Bebe for some leisure clothes. However waiting till they have discount would be a wise choice, given the quality of clothes. Also their size can range from too big loosely hanging to so tight that cannot fit, so make sure to come down into the store and try it on before getting it. I could not remember how many times I have purchased online and then have to visit a store to return…

Rude staff! The manager was rude and classless. I rarely buy anything from BEBE but here and there you might be able to find something okay looking. I requested a store credit for 2 items I ordered online and did not fit and since I came back from vacation few days after their 21 days return period, I was ok with store credit since I planned to give away to a friend anyways. The manager refused to do so saying that it will be the same thing if I go to any other store. I said thank you, and went to the BEBE in Soho where I was actually able to return the items !!! Will never shop there again, especially the Columbus Circle location after such a bad experience and bad customer service. Bebe should pick better staff to represent their brand.

Over aggressive salespeople. Whatever they are paying them for commission, is too much! They are like piranha trying to be the one to find me a fitting room so they can be the person I name at the register when the person who rings me up asks«Did anyone help you?» It’s really irritating, I can’t shop in peace, I feel rushed because every single salesperson jumps on me to find me a fitting room. Just let me shop! Bebe had it’s heyday and I admit the clothes do fit well(if you’re thin), but they are made out of cheap polyester and they are pricey. It’s good for special occasion dresses or super cute workout clothes.

I never come to this store because their clothes don’t fit me. However, I came here looking for a gift for a friend that loves this store. I honestly don’t know know how people shop here. The clothes look cheap for the prices and they lack variety. They come out with the same styles over and over in different colors. I went somewhere else for the gift. Ps. I walked the entire store looking at their merchandise and went unnoticed by the sales associates.

I’m not normally a huge Bebe fan(one of my besties is obsessed and actually used to work at one of their locations) but I occasionally take a gander because they do tend to design body contoured dresses that work for those of us in the curvy, pear-shaped community. First off, the sales girls were both pretty rude from the moment that I and another customer(not with me) entered the store. There was a cute bright coral-colored work dress that I found that was CLEARLY out of place on the rack I spotted it on(probably was carelessly placed there by a customer) since the dresses on that sales rack were all black or black & white prints. I brought the dress over to the 2 girls chatting away by the registers and asked where I could find my size in it. They responded that all of them were where I found it, I TOLD them it was on the sales rack and I KNOW it’s not an «on sale» dress(I figured this because it was a newer style and one of the display mannequins was wearing it)… «Dumb and dumber» respond back with«that dress isn’t on sale, do you still want your size?» — REALLY!!! I mean A.) I TOLDYOUITWASNOTONSALE. B.) AREYOUACCUSINGMEOFNOTBEINGABLETOAFFORDTHEDRESS? I mean, I saw the damn price on it and while it was not cheap, if it looked good on me then I’d shell it out. I’m a working woman and I have work events coming up. I responded with, «Thanks, pretty sure I informed you it wasn’t on sale — had you heard me — but I’ll just look for it myself». It’s not a large store, I figured I’d try the damn thing on and buy it if it was a good fit. I mean, I really, REALLY loved the color of the dress, so much so that I was willing to ignore these women getting exasperated when I asked them to do their job. I put it right back on the damn sales rack where I found it and went off throughout the store to find where the other ones could be. One of the sales girls escaped the confines of the sales register box to get the dress I placed, took a deep exaggerated breath and muttered, «This doesn’t go here»: Lord help me because I wanted to shove a hanger down her esophagus at this point. I turned around and pointedly exclaimed, «I found it there and asked where they were and I would have returned it. You clearly had no problem when another customer left it there but you had a problem guiding me to them when I was interested in possibly buying it!!». She just stood there with her vapid jaw open. At that point I just left this because her and this particular location are not worth my time or my hard earned money. I have never been treated so poorly at their Herald Square location and I will never purchase anything at this one, EVER.

I am probably too old to be wearing bebe, I will admit that, but occasionally they have dresses without cutouts and overkill on sequins that are actually pretty nice, and for that, I always pop my head in to see if I might get lucky. I was pleasantly surprised with this location, great lighting, two floors, and the color for the season must be coral and they had some great coral resort wear! The sales associate I spoke with was very helpful, making recommendations and letting me know about all the sales and discounts I qualified for. I would definitely come back.

Sound off Some days I block out the world Where life is at stand still No e-mail No text messages No internet usage No phones No TV Sound off My mind is calmer The colors are clearer I stop to breathe At peace I see and create more clearly Sound off To take back what was lost Replenish what was depleted Focused Back on track In a demanding world Ready to plan my attack in the everyday hustle and bustle of life Upon entering Bebe I was orbed by a Whitelighter into a nightclub on New York’s Club Row(21st Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues) by the monster truck, deafen loud music. Yet all I wanted to do is browse for a decorative belt with matching wrist belt but gained a splitting headache. Thank you Bebe baby for the lovely splitting headache you’ve incurred me as I can still hear your monster truck, deafen loud music nightclub genre music outside in Time Warner’s corridor. Extreme overpriced clothing for youngsters who desire to lead a carefree lifestyle not ready to be committed for any serious career track. At Bebe youngsters can lavishly indulge on this genre of trendy, hip and extreme low-cut tops clothing from their have’s of wealthy parents. There are two levels accessible by stairs only within the Shops at Time Warner, Columbus Circle. Merchandise is well stocked and organized neatly in a clean selling retail space. Customer service is nonexistent who are hidden by choice as there was no one to meet and greet. Bebe baby, you need to SOUNDOFF for a Fung Shui vibe fending to clients’ shopping experience as it is extremely discouraging to blockage potential clients away.
