I never seen rudeness like this, the guy with white and black beard, last time he was nice, but today he was rude to me, I went to order take out and he told me order from the bartender but the bartender was busy talking to the lady at the bar, so I went to ask the rude guy about something on the menu, and was like you take out order from this guy what out even listen to what I was saying to him, I left the place without taking food. I like this place but with this kind service, I don’t like.

I met a friend here after work and needed a massive burger in my life. I’ve been to the Rockefeller Center location before, so I was excited to try the location in Meatpacking. It did not disappoint! Our waiter was very nice and our food came out in a timely manner and was amazing. I really wanted to try the Food Baby Burger but something was drawing me to the white cheddar bacon burger, which I ordered and added special sauce. The pretzel bun was very interesting and the burger was juicy and the toppings were on point. The french fries were also great(you have to order them separately as a side) and so worth it. My only thing is I wish our waiter asked how we wanted our burgers cooked and I wish I knew earlier than getting the check that the sauce cost extra. Regardless, this is a great after work spot to cure your hangryness and I will 100% be back to try a spiked milkshake!

Seriously one of the best shakes I’ve ever had! Service is great. They had never heard of the free item on the check in but figured it out and made it. Mini cookies and cream shake shot

I may have to try this place again, i think i ordered wrong. Cuz i wasnt really digging the bills brew, i guess its not my type of beer. And the bbq wings were decent but nothing really special. Maybe its silly of me to order that at a burger spot. The cheese fries were hella on point tho. That alone is temptation enough come back, its some quality ass cheese. Haha.

This place is cramped. Expect to get to know your neighbor really well. Also, there’s no AC, so prepare to sweat if you come here during the summer. However, the food makes up for it. I got the sliders which came with all the fixins’ you could possibly want. They were just the right size, and cooked just right. We shared a basket of their classic fries, which was just enough for us. The tap selection is decent — there’s about 6 or 7 taps available. For the more picky types, there is a bottle and can list that runs you about the same price as a beer on tap(but for less ounces and less freshness, of course). I would definitely come here again, but would hope to actually sit at a table next time.

Awesome late night place in Meatpacking! Music was on point, my burger was delicious, my bartender was a gem. The beer was fresh, cold, and plenty of variety. What more can you ask for? Nothing else. That was a rhetorical question, Unilocalers.

Bill’s is our new«cheat day» favorite. Burgers are amazing, fresh, hot, and served by a friendly staff. But the cheese fries are the best thing, possibly, ever. I’m not sure what magic is in them, but they are worth every single bite.

After seeing their ‘crazy shakes’ on social media, I was asked to drop by and get a shake for a friend, but what I got was a damn travesty even as far as diner shakes go. Pretty alienating bartender, too.

I loved it! I’m big on health and eating the right food that nourishes your body without any grease involved. Ordered a turkey burger and gave detailed description of how I like my sandwich. Server was friendly and courteous, plate was presentable and taste was unbelievably delicious. Price compared to sandwich size could be reduced a little, yet still within the good $ 10 budget including tax. If healthy food tastes that good here, then what about the unhealthy ones’ taste? Location is perfect and close to a water for romantic ideas. I recommend this place.

I came here on a Sunday night. We got sat down quickly for a table of 4. The only thing that bothered us was the service. If we haven’t had asked for a server, it probably would of taken them a good 30 mins before taking our order. Also, the manager said they would give us a round of drinks on him, but he never came back nor did our server asked us what we wanted to drink because he didn’t know about it. Overall, they ended up giving us 4 cookies and cream milkshakes and comped part of the bill. I could of gotten the cookies and cream milkshake for free anyways because there was a Unilocal offer if you check in. Server also forgot to get my milkshake until the end when I said I wanted it in the beginning. The food was good though.

Had to place an order for delivery for 7 people and had a long list. Spoke with Jesse the manager who was so patient and awesome and confirmed everything was correct. It was delivered very quickly and the delivery person was very nice as well! The food was great! I’m picky about my burgers and even with the big order, it was cooked perfectly! The fries were not soggy and everyone loved their orders! Great place for a quick and easy, delicious lunch!

Great spot for a beer and a burger when you are in meatpacking district and don’t feel like spending all the money or being sceney. Spicy jalapeño burger was great and the fried pickles and peppers were awesome(that dipping sauce!) good service too. solid spot.

Okay. Way too expensive for the quality of the food. $ 20 for 6 wings and sweet potatoe fries. The people are friendly here but the price — it’s really not worth it. When the food arrived I was excited thinking it would be out of this world. Just average had better wings from atomic wings. The wings were big and juicy but extremely salty and not spicy enough. I was pretty bummed Here’s a cool picture though :)

The waitress we had was lovely. The space nice and trendy, high stools/trestle tables etc. The food, well I had the«Bill’s Burger» it was fine, meat not overly cooked and seasoned well but the plain burger was that… not fantastic, but fine for the price.

This place was expensive for what it was. It had great staff though, and our waiter was so friendly. My burger was okay. If the place is crowded, you’re definitely on top of each other because the tables take up much of the space. I do like the location, it’s easy to get to. The drinks were great! It’s a very casual place to meet for dinner. I don’t think I would ever come here again. The burger wasn’t anything to come back to, though.

Have not been here for yrs. The hype of the place sure has deflated. Not a hip joint any more, but the burger was good and on a pretzel bun to boot. Thirty bucks for a burger, o rings and a beer… ouch… Place was less than half empty and the service was fine, irksome complaint is they had the main TVs on some bullshit out of town ball games and the now exciting again NY Knicks(just voted the most valuable franchise in all of sports!) were buried on a small non factor, out of sight, TV in the dining area… I bartended for years in NYC and you never take off the home team, especially when they big news… WTF??? Where am I? What happened to NYC??? Boo!!! One and done here, as I venture out in the cold in search of real NYC… and New York pride! *****(Madison Square Garden– the Mecca of basketball, and home of THE Knicks is only a few blocks away!!!) WTF? Try going to Boston and taking off the Red Sox or Celtics game for a Dallas Mavericks or Georgia Tech game, see how that works out for ya…

One of my favorite spots to get a cheeseburger downtown. The service is fast. Lots of beer on tap. The nachos are the best keep secret, I get them every time. So good. Sports always on TV. Very consistent, never had a bad experience here in 10 visits to this location. Good«upscale» alternative to Corner Bistro.

After a delicious dinner, my husband and I decided to go for an after dinner cocktail. When we arrived we were promptly greeted by Kristin and given the option to sit whereever we liked. We chose to sit at the window, so we could observe the busy traffic and bystanders. We each ordered a beer and a basket of fries. The fries and the beers were tasted. In addition, Kristin brought us each a complimentary mini Oreo shake for checking in on Unilocal. The shake was DELICIOUS and a nice treat. Kristin checked in with us often and was a ray of sunshine to be around. Thank you Kristin for the AMAZING customer service.

Heard this place had a better burger than Corner Bistro, but was very disappointed. Not even close! The patties are priced the same but much smaller and obviously not prime beef. Just a glorified fast food restaurant. Atmosphere was lame and again similar to a fast food restaurant. If in the area the Corner Bistro is a much better choice!

Ended up here after the standard biergarten to try and catch some of the Ohio state game. Fortunately it was on and the place wasn’t too busy so we were able to get a table for our large group. We ordered three pitchers of beer and some cheese fries. Beer was a bit pricey and a limited selection. They did have pitchers of cocktails which sounded intriguing but our group stuck to beer. Anyways reason this rating is two stars is due to our entire group getting cut off before we could even finish the pitchers we ordered. Never really got a valid reason why except that there was one or two ppl in our group who looked over served… Except we were all coherent and in just fine shape some were even not drinking. Place wasn’t really the scene we were looking for anyways so took our dollars elsewhere.

I was really excited to try Bill’s because I had heard good things about it, and I was not disappointed. My dad and I went after I had begged him to go with me, and tonight we did. The place was not absolutely packed, but the bar was full and for two of us, we sat down immediately. Our waitress was really friendly and on top of things. I started with the Boneless Buffalo Chicken Wings, which I suspect were once on the menu but are not any longer. The waitress took the order as if they were. The wings were quickly brought to the table. They definitely served two people and were unbelievably good. The chicken was really moist and soft, and they had the perfect amount of buffalo sauce. My dad and I devoured them quickly. We both got Bill’s Classic with American Cheese, and added bacon, as well as fries. I think the burger is supposed to be like In n’ Out, because it tasted exactly like an In n’ Out Burger(which is really, really good). We both loved our burgers. The patty is thin but filling, and the cheese is perfectly melted. I’m definitely happy I added bacon, too, as they were very generous with how much they gave us and it tasted damn good! I also got a Black and White Shake, which in my opinion is one of the best in the city and compares to Burger Joint and Shake Shack’s shakes. The only disappointment about Bill’s was the Fries. They weren’t horrible, but they were definitely not very special. Pretty standard fare, much like many other burger places that have average fries. My friends recommended the Beer-Battered Onion Rings, so maybe get that instead. Overall, Bill’s was an awesome experience and will definitely be added to our rotation because of its friendly service, amazing burger and a check at the end of the meal that won’t hurt your pocket.

This place is a bit small, and busy, but it had a relatively good beer selection. This location I only went here to sit at the bar, get a beer and have the fried pickles. I’ve been to another, larger location and had the burgers and fries which were delicious(my main issue with them is that you have to order them separately = more money). The fried pickles unexpectedly had friend banana peppers and jalapenos as well. They were SOGOOD! Would have liked a bigger portion.

May be the best turkey burger I have ever had. All the burgers here are fresh made in house. Prices are reasonable especially for the area where this is located. When we visited, there was a motorcycle rally that the restaurant and staff did not know about. About 300 motorcycles were in the area and many were going to local restaurants. When we first arrived, the staff seemed like they were overwhelmed but they came right around, picking up the pace and took care of business. The kitchen was able to handle the extra work without much effort, cranking out orders with a good pace. Great job!

Walking the highline on a very hot Saturday afternoon, now in search of a cold beverage and a place to unwind for a bit we came across Bill’s Bar and Burger. We sat at the bar in search for some cold ones. We all had a beer it was perfect nice and cold. Of course each of us also ordered a glass of water as well lol. We saw many people ordering burgers but we didn’t get to try them. The price was average city price. Looked around the bar they have a good handful of seats as well as a back room for dinners which is a plus. If your walking by stop on in and unwind next I’ll try their burgers :)

Average. Not bad, not my best. To be fair, I had a turkey burger, but I’ve had my fair share of turkey burgers over the years. We had been walking around NYC all day long and had just finished walking the High Line. We were looking for something reasonably-priced and quick-and-easy in the Meatpacking District. In that respect, this place was a solid choice. The burger was good, juicy, simple. Sometimes places can overdo their burgers in size and with toppings, and the only way I can possibly eat them is with a knife and a fork. I actually appreciated the fact that I could pick up this burger with my little hands, and directly bite into it. All extras, including fries, were a la carte. Not a fan. I shared the fries, and it was enough for two of us, but it made the decently priced burger not feel as decently priced. I had a Diet Coke, not a beer, but the beer selection looked decent and fairly priced in comparison to its competitors. For a quick bite to eat or a place to grab a drink before heading out, not a bad stop.

After walking down the high line this past Friday, the group was famished after and stumbled into Bills for a delicious surprise! I had never been before, and the reviews were mixed but all parties were super satisfied with the meal. I opted for the sliders with a side of onion rings. Both were good. The sliders were a good size and each was just as flavorful as the next. There was a creamy sauce on it that made the onions taste amazing. Onions rings were good too. Others ordered traditional burgers and finished them before I had time take a breath! Needless to say entire party was satisfied. Also — have to note the shakes. My boyfriend got mint chocolate chip and I stole almost half of it. If you’re looking for a classic cheeseburger and milkshake combo you will not go wrong here.

After saying I was in the mood for a burger for dinner, a friend immediately recommended Bill’s Bar and Burger(although I thought she said we’re going to «Build A Burger»). I ordered the Onion Soup Patty Melt — the server commended my choice saying it was one of his favorites — and it was one the BEST burgers I have had in a while. The marble rye bread made it easy to eat and was a good alternative to a bun. The sweet potato fries were a bit pricey at $ 5, but still good. I had a bite of my friend’s Bacon & Cheddar Burger, and the pretzel bun was pretty awesome.(I’m all about the buns hun). Quick and friendly service. Loud, fun atmosphere.

So this review is based almost solely on the mind-blowing marshmallow malt I had here. Feeling the need for a post-brunch dessert(and some water, because wandering around NYC on a hot summer day leaves you dehydrated real quick), my friends and I stumbled across this place. Their shake selection was amazing, and deciding on which one to select was probably one of the harder life decisions I’ve had to make. Homemade Marshamllow? Chocolate Fudge Brownie? Peanut Butter Toffee? Cookies and Cream? A classic chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry? What’s a girl to do?! And then there was the option to make it an adult malt with the addition of a suggested liquor. Yeah. No joke. I settled on the Marshmallow shake with house made marshmallows, and naturally upgraded to a malt. It was out of this world! The malt was super thick and creamy(nothing more disappointing than a runny shake), and tasted of real vanilla. The marshmallows were delectable, and they were partially browned, s’more style. So much more satisfying than if they’d been uncooked marshmallows. The marshmallow on top looked like they’d torched it a bit before serving, which made for a nice presentation — and a great flavor! The prices are a little steep, $ 6.95 for any of the specialty shakes, I believe another dollar more to make it a malt, and an extra $ 4 to add booze. Don’t be deterred. If you are a shake fan it is worth every penny. Also, as I mentioned, we’d come in incredibly parched after a day of wandering, and our server kept our water glasses full even as we kept downing them. Much appreciated!

Service sympa !
