I was in the neighborhood of Union Square once again so I hit up my favorite pizzaria. I went for the classic Margherita slice, with fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Really saucy, and at $ 4.50 a very decent price given that its Manhattan. They have a wide selection of other pies as well, but I’m usually more of a purist :)

In the past 3 month I was continually faced with a dilemma to choose between Bravo or Joe’s from across the street and for OBVIOUS reason I always choose Joe’s however today was different, thanks to the avid Unilocaler in me found myself in Bravo’s AND the results were as anticipated. I got me a plain and pepperoni-sausages, ended up paying $ 7.50 fair enough. On to the pies then, must say it was a pleasant slice of pie definitely NOTTHE Best, but surely good. The plain was a bit too salty and greasy for my taste, like really you failed to impress someone with a plain slice when charging $ 2.75 for a slice slightly bigger than a $ 1 pizza slice The pepperoni-sausage was good but NOT $ 4.75 good. If Bravo’s were the only option yes I’d visit again given my obsession with pizza, but having Joe’s across the street well, it was nice knowing you Bravo’s you’ll see me soon NOT

Clean pizza spot with good pizza, quick service and ample seating. I had several boys here for pizza once– a mom recommended this place as a good, clean place for a group of about 5 – 6 kids to have pizza. Employees were great, friendly — I even brought birthday cupcakes they let the kids have -(I tipped them well of course). Pepperoni pizza was a hit with kids and a couple adults who joined. The last visit here I tried the spinach margarita pizza and did not like it at all– but it was freshly made and the Crust was crispy good; I think that’s my preference not to mix spinach, cheese and sauce — but there was also too much sauce so the flavors of saucy spinach — not good — I was not a fan. Overall a clean location where you can sit comfortably — and with good cheese and pepperoni pizza.

I’m not expecting 5 star service from employees at a pizzeria but can you at least be friendly? I’ve been to this Bravos twice now and each time the same employee has given me unwarranted eye rolling and an exasperated tone of voice. My only crime was asking him to repeat himself when he asked me a question about my order because he speaks very softly. The second time I confronted him about it and wasn’t even offered an explanation as to why he thinks it’s ok to treat costumers that way. No apology just silence and anger. I won’t be supporting a business that hires creepy angry employees. There’s a pizzeria closer to me called Lunneta on 3rd. The foods great and the guys that work there are friendly and reliable.

Really good. We wandered in for a quick slice. Super friendly – good food. Not the best pizza I ever had but good limited seating and cold due to door opening all the time. Garlic knots were great. Prices reasonable.

Best pizza in the whole US. Thin and crunchy and super tasty. I haven’t had a pizza this good in years. It would be awesome if you had some natural juices.

I enjoyed my brocolli and tomato pizza very much. They were nice in here too and quite busy. We walked here after visiting Dylan’s Candy Bar and then saw The 39 Steps at Union Square Theater A beautiful night in NYC, about 57 degrees.

Worst place ever!!! This is New York. You could have awesome pizza but this place is horrible. This is the worst place for pizza. The service is horrible and the people treat you like you’re stupid. GO Somewhere else!!!

I am normally a fan of thinner crusted pizza, but I am absolutely in love with the pizza here. I crave it ALL the time. I definitely like it even more than the famous pizza place across the street. If you come here, you must try their Chicken Bacon Ranch slice! The pizza here is a little thicker, but the crust is crispy, the chicken and bacon are crispy on top but not hard, bursting with flavor, good amount of tomato sauce, and just so heavenly. They add the perfect amount of ranch and heat up your slice right before serving. I’ve tried other slices here that I’ve also really liked including Buffalo Chicken. Their Grandma slice is great, as well.

This place is right next to Union Square. If you’re looking for the closest decent pizza place, this is it. No complaints with this pizza. They do not skimp on the cheese here. My boyfriend and I went with a plain slice and chicken parm slice. Reallllly enjoyed both. The chicken parm slice is loaded! Definitely a must try if that’s your kind of thing!

I’m not crazy about places that treat me like I’m a transgender couple at a Westboro rally. Actually I’d prefer getting yelled at than just being ignored. If I didn’t ask the cashier for a slice I would have been standing there for an hour. At least the pizza was decent. … ish.

I decided to stop in for a slice after perusing the racks at H&M and Zara. The restaurant has enough seating for those who want to rushly enjoy a slice or two and head back to work. I ordered a Silician slice and it was perhaps a little to crunchy for my liking. I like to eat my pizza with knife and fork & couldn’t cut through. #fancy lol! Additonally, I like lots of sauce and the sauce was skimpy! Other than that, nothing groundbreaking about the slice I had today. Oh and the bathroom was absolutely filthy!

I don’t understand why anyone would come here for anything other than pizza, which by the way is awesome despite their three star status. Comparable to Joe’s Pizza, maybe even better. It might be a NY thing to overload the pies with cheese but I’m not complaining! And their crust is nice and crisp, supports all the ooey gooey toppings without turning into a limp soggy mess. I’m a picky pizza eater and I would definitely call out something that doesn’t live up to my standards. This was good! But again, stick to their pizzas alone to avoid disappointment.

I lived across the street from this place when I was a student at NYU but never came in to get the pizza at this place. What a mistake that was! The pizza here is delicious! The sauce alone is really good; I could eat the garlic knots dunked in the marinara sauce and call it a day. I had the margherita slice which came with nice chunks of chicken cutlet on it. OMG. The chicken was so soft and nicely seasoned, and, again, that sauce, man! So good! My friend had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza. Once again, very satisfied. Will definitely come back for pizza when I’m in the area!

You know what, if you’re walking towards Union Square at midnight and you haven’t eaten and your stomach hole is growling and hungry and threatening to revolt at the volume of Tom Collins’ you have had, this place is like an oasis in a desert! I got a slice of pepperoni and sausage and it was just made so it was already hot without being reheated. I thought this was the most delicious thing I’d had in weeks.

I only stopped in here for a slice before a concert but think its 24 hours which is a big plus and necessary near Irving plaza. I had a marinara square and it was ok, but they heat their pizza up on aluminum foil, so it will always be mushy on the bottom! The pizza tasted ok, but I too felt like I had a brick in my stomach!
