Food tastes like it’s been microwaved. And very poor customer service. Would not recommend eating there

I am not a picky person. Was there to meet a friend, the meeting was more important for me and the salad as fine. My problem was that my credit card was charged $ 32?! for a Kale Caesar Salad($ 6.95) and a bottled water!!! I asked the casher if I needed to sign for my card and she said no. Watch out people. There are dishonest people working at their casher. I was too trusting because I go in there often. :-(

I ordered from them at 5:28AM for delivery. They said it would take 30 minutes and it is now 7:30 and I still do not have my order. They said it left 44 minutes ago but 30 mins and 2 hours is a HUGE gap of time. I’ve called several times and they just keep saying they have a lot of deliveries. I think this is unacceptable and I’m very frustrated with with situation. My food will be cold when it arrives if it ever arrives.

I give it below average mainly because a bunch of small things added up that way.(This is a breakfast review). The food was not bad, just ok –mayyyybe 3 stars for average. The coffee is passable, but they do the«milk» and sugar for you, never a plus in my book. My husband and I both ordered omelettes(photos) with toast and potatoes. The wheat bread is what I call brown white bread. It came pre-buttered accompanied by a single-serve Smuckers grape or strawberry. The omelettes were more like hastily scrambled eggs poured into the pan over the«fillings» and then folded. Can still see the egg white. Potatoes were red-skinned(good), but mushy and hardly browned with some sliced red onion(cooked properly). There is no pork(e.g., it’s turkey bacon) — not a factor for me, but just FYI. Tables are Tiny(both my fork and napkin fell on floor) and all were dirty. No one came around to clean tables in the 45 minutes we were here. Patrons just swept crumbs off. Chairs are uncomfortable. Ordering is at the counter is a bit confusing. While the cashiers were friendly, the guy taking the orders was impatient(with no one behind me, but, hey, this is NYC). Maybe omelettes aren’t the thing to order here. They had a lot of sandwiches on display and the ingredients are fresh(although it’s unfortunately not ripe tomato season). All in all, I think I would classify this somewhere fast food and cafeteria. May try it again for solo lunch on the run, but probably not.

This is literally the worst customer service that it’s laughable. Every morning(maybe 8⁄10 times I go they get my order wrong) it’s like they don’t even listen and just decide what they want to give me — it’s so bad that I’m starting to think they do it on purpose!!! Where are the managers in this place to observe how awful their staff are !? There is only one good woman the rest are clueless.

Their flat bagels are delicious. I got the everything flat bagel and it was loaded with the poppy/sesame/garlic/salt combo. They have nice breakfast sandwiches and combos as well. Great stop on the way to work!

I’m writing this review after waiting over an hour in my office for my delivery. After said hour, I called the establishment to see what was going on. According to the woman, the delivery guy came and security would not keep my food. I’ve never actually had a problem before with the security in our office building holding our deliveries– this would be the first. Now I already know that the food I ordered will be cold, lukewarm if I’m lucky. The woman on the phone was not pleasant, and I asked if they planned on bringing me my food or I would cancel the order, to which she said she would tell the guy to try again. My guess is the guy probably didnt find the right office. Not happy, quite hungry, not satisfied.

First off the customer service here is terrible. I called this morning, placed and order for two simple egg sandwiches with BACON. When we received the order we were given turkey bacon(we don’t eat turkey bacon), apparently they don’t serve regular bacon but no one bothered to mention that on the phone when we ordered. We called back to complain and were given attitude from a very rude employee. She transferred us to the manager who said he wouldn’t refund our money because we paid with a cc(apparently that’s too difficult a task) and if we wanted money back we would have to walk over to their establishment(the reason we ordered is bc we can’t leave work). The manager wasn’t helpful at all and because of him I will never order from there again. If you are a hospital employee or ues resident, please don’t spend your hard earned money at this establishment, they don’t care about their customers. There are plenty of places to order from in the area that are way less expensive and have great customer service. I will admit that after speaking with the manager, I got a little upset and told him to «F» off but ordering breakfast shouldn’t be a stressful task. They lost me and everyone at my office as a customer.

Got lunch at Café Fresco today. Really nice environment, spacious, some seating by the window. I ordered a roast turkey and Brie sandwich to go. A lot of their sandwiches are premade and sitting in the cold chest where they keep the cream cheese and spreads. Which I hate, because the lettuce is always soggy from sitting on the sandwich all day and the bread has already absorbed the condiments. So there goes one star. A five star sandwich should be made to order. I pay and leave, only to find when I get back to work that there’s no Brie on my sandwich, but cranberry sauce instead. There goes another star. Luckily I work close, so I’m able to go back and get a new sandwich. Turns out the guy grabbed the turkey and cranberry sandwich out of the case instead of the turkey and Brie. This wouldn’t have happened if my sandwich was made to order. They apologize and give me a new sandwich. I return to work and open the sandwich to make sure there’s Brie. It’s there, but it’s a tiny sliver of cheese that takes up less than half the width of the club roll(I uploaded a photo). And there goes the third star. I get Brie is expensive but if I’m paying 7.50 for a turkey and Brie sandwich it should at least cover the whole thing. Won’t be returning.

One of the worst Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Their medium coffee is a small coffee and their service left a lot to be desired. I would recommend walking another block or two to find better food and unfortunately, better service.

I like their breakfast. I order ham, egg, and hash brown IN a wrap. Yes, all three inside of the wrap. So good. I also enjoy their lattes w/skim milk and brown sugar. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :) The only thing I get annoyed over is the register. The darn thing doesn’t show what they are charging. They give you a price and you are supposed to trust them. THEN, I don’t get the receipt. I wasn’t even asked if I wanted a receipt a few times. They just pulled it from the printer and tossed it. I am starting to question their pricing. Two days in a row I get the exact same thing and was charged two different prices. I usually stop and have them make the correction but the woman that usually takes care of me was not there. Didn’t want to argue over a price when they don’t know what the other one did in order to get that price. I have a feeling they charged me for cheese. I would have been able to see what was the problem IF I WERETOHAVEGOTTEN A RECEIPT. I gave them 3 stars b/c the food is good, they are clean but they can do a lot better when it comes to the register.

«Go crazy on salad fixins» This place has been newly renovated and it is more spacious, so you will not feel the effects of claustrophobia while waiting for your food. Typically, I order salads at this place and I find that this establishment are very generous with the toppings. The general formula for the salad is 1 meat protein, 2 cheeses, and up to 6 ingredients(tomatoes, beans, chickpeas, etc.). I find a lot of times that the staff will give you a couple extra toppings if you ask nicely. Plus, the bagel chips are very delicious. There is not too much to write about this place because it is your typical coffee/bagel, lunch-time deli/salad spot. But, if you are around the UES near the hospital, it is a great place for a quick bite to eat.

Quick and fast café that’s right across from the Kettering Cancer Center. Good for salads, pasta, bagels, fruits, etc. They have a make-your-own pasta center where you can choose up to 4 additional toppings(+1 protein). That’s a good deal! And it’s great for 2 to share.

Worst of the worst! Here I’ve got: 1. Absent-minded employees ignoring customers; 2. Delayed orders; 3. Overcharge. Ordered combo but charged the items separately; 4. NO receipts. I gave them a second chance but they still managed to fuck up at off-peak hour. Would love to see it get replaced by something else — how much worse can you get from here?

Stopped in for a quick chicken salad sandwich in between appointments. Quick friendly service. Tasty sandwich. Bagel was mediocre but not bad by any stretch. Good for a quick food fix.

Café Fresco, you have truly let me down. I stopped by for lunch recently and ordered a Chicken Quesadilla. They have an assortment of dishes laid out on display and priced accordingly. The quesadillas said $ 6.95. Then they had«lunch specials» that has the same item as well. I pointed to the one in the display(the one I first mentioned) and they made it pretty quickly, stopping to ask if I wanted anything inside besides chicken and cheese. I asked for peppers. When they rang up my meal, the woman said«it will be 9 dollars and change.» I thought to myself, even with tax it shouldn’t be that much. They said I ordered the other chicken quesadilla. There’s more than one type? Trust me, I’m not gonna fight over a dollar or two difference(life is too short), but it was the principle. They said the type of chicken and«seasoning» was different and that’s why they charged me for the pricier one. Really? But after a long day at work, I just wanted to eat my lunch. Not only was it mis-priced/unclear, but it wasn’t even that good. Bummer. There was hardly any substance inside tortillas and the veggies didn’t seem fresh. No spices, nothing special. This will probably be my last time at Café Fresco.
