Way over priced and not that great of quality. The cappuccinos were $ 4.50 each and I’ve had better at Tim Hortons for $ 2. However their cano cannolis were very good.

Tourist Trap! Worst Italian restaurant in NYC. Very small portions. You will leave hungry guaranteed. Rude and very impatient servers. A very obnoxious manager and solicitor on the street. Our experience was so poor I have to believe the good reviews here are bogus!

Food was so-so. Service was horrible. Wish we would have checked the reviews first. Just bad!

I went to this restaurant with my family of 8 and got seated right away. The owner was there so we got to meet her and her husband. She complimented us 2 bottles of wine and an appetizer. Service: Waiter was great. Gave good suggestions and gave us plenty of time to order but made sure we were taken care of. Food: I got the Vodka rigatoni, which was some of the best Vodka sauce I have had. Noodle and chicken were good. I tried everyone else’s meal and it was all good(manicotti, lasagne, chicken marsala). We also got desert. We all got cannoli. I don’t really care for cannoli in general so I didn’t think there was anything special about these. Price: I am assuming every Italian restaurant in Little Italy is as expensive as this. Our bill was $ 350 for 8 people. A little bit of sticker shock but as long as you know it is going to be expensive going in, you will have a great experience! Overall: Great food but pricey!

Stopped in for lunch as I was strolling through little Italy. Service was great! The food was amazing! We got the Chicken Parmesan, spinach, calamari. They also serve delicious bread with dipping sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. A must try!

Chicken Parm was out of control. I mean seriously good. I ordered and additional piece of chicken that’s how fat I was, but you know what it was worth the calories. Solid meal here I can’t complain. Servers were a little slow but I didn’t mind I was in no rush.

The service was lackluster and although not rude really not interested. Do not try the Chianti, you’ll be wasting calories! Spaghetti with garlic, Olive oil and chile was ok. Not recommended but not poisonous!

Bad service I had here. The server yawn when he’s taking the order. Also, we don’t get bread at the first. Never again

The carbonara with shrimp was the best meal that I had on my visit to the city! We were able to sit outside and view the Empire State Building from our table. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and the were absolutely perfect. They were flavorful and tender! The waiter was very great and we were able to get $ 5 wine during happy hour. The house made bread was delicious as well!

A guy stands on the street snoozing people to come in. Waiter never introduced himself and then we were served by two other waiters. Service is terrible, unfriendly and don’t care if your food was good or not. They just stand around looking bored. Pizza was like cardboard. Did not serve fresh mozzarella in the magherita pizza… a lie from menu. Called them out about it and they had no response. We were not offered any bread. Requested it but was never given any. Asked for lemons and brought us some that were dried up and old.

Caffe Crapoli. Nothing about this restaurant can be described as out of this world; unless by that, you mean God awful. Service was just as bad as the food; Plucked off the street and ushered to their«last outside table,»(cramped and a little strange smelling) we were quickly ignored and slowly(mentally as well as physically) served upon… When first seated the table next to us were complaining and although they were speaking French, even I could understand they were frustrated with the incompetence. After finally being able to order a coke, and asking twice for water as well as said coke, I was thinking how I should get up and leave; I unfortunately decided to stay. Now for a true comparison to another Little Italy eatery I decided upon the same dish I had across the street at «Da Gennaro;» this being said, after forcing down the chewy chicken, the pasty pasta, and the tough, flavorless prosciutto, I can easily say this couldn’t even compare to the worst Chicken Sorentina dish, I have ever had before. The pasta came out cold and the four cokes that barely made it to the table cost three bux a piece, despite them being all ice, and repeatedly forgotten about. All in all, I will never return for a $ 50 lunch for two that was worth less than a dirty water dog from the cart down the street. All this waiter did was take our order, and IF he remembered, he passed it on to the busboys who did the grunt work. We sat there for 15 minutes before getting water, while the restaurant next to us had bread, water, and servers taking orders. I should have stiffed on the check.

I have just a few words to say about this place. This is not an Italian restaurant. There’s nothing italian(Napolitan) about this place. Someone from this place should take a course in Naples on how to cook. They should be embarrassed of themselves. Your better off eating at the olive garden… lol

Atmosphere: Was a beautiful night, so we sat outside. It was pretty bustling, but we were seated right away as a nice little table. Our order was taken pretty quickly for our wine, and for our dinner as well. Never had to hunt anyone down. Candles on the table were lit, and it was very clean and inviting. Dinner: I had an adjustment on mine– I ordered the sole but wanted it in lemon sauce instead of tomato. The waiter said it was a busy night and he didn’t know if the chef would accommodate me? Regardless, he did and it was delicious. Came with pasta as well. My date had the chicken piccata with penne, and it was cooked and sauced perfectly. Drinks: We had a bottle of Chianti Classico which was very reasonably priced, and presented to me for a tasting before pouring a glass for both of us. Overall, great experience! I would go back, but there are so many of these types of restaurants in Little Italy, that I would be open to try the abundance of them scattered throughout the neighborhood.

Sweet café in Little Italy. Outdoor seating and indoor seating available. My cheese ravioli was delicious. Don’t expect perfect service, especially if they are busy. It’s still a nice little stop along your way. Oh, and don’t order the Moscato. It’s flavored water, I think.

The carbonara, chicken parm, lobster ravioli and the vongole are very good. Amazing bread w/oil. Good selection of red wine. Incredible cannoli for dessert. Great coffee. This trip the service was meh but they were packed so I won’t hold it against them. Never had a bad experience here. It’s a bit pricey for what you get tho

We had cheese ravioli, it was very delicious. The bread was good. The coffee was good. Menu was a bit expensive. I read a lot of reviews complaining about the service, but we got great service. They did add 15% tip to the bill but that’s really not a huge deal since we all end up paying at least that. I went with my mom and she’s in a wheelchair and it was very accessible for her.

The food was good, nothing superb though. This place is one of the several old-timey place on this block of Little Italy that is basically a tourist trap. We purposely went for this reason(had guests in town who we wanted to give the tourist experience.) The portions aren’t huge, but they obviously charge you like they are. The food is probably a 2.5, but I’ll give the place a 3 as we sat on the sidewalk with a great view up and down the street of all the other goings-on of Mulberry street. That is pretty cool, I will give them that.

Little Italy — a competitive place where people are hustling and bustling, claiming to serve up «the best Italian food in town». So we decided to check this spot out. Meh, it’s ok. I’ve had better! Came to have dinner with my friend and I ordered the veal dish, while he had the chicken piccata. Though the food was not that bad, it wasn’t anything great either. Good thing about Little Italy though, there’s tons to choose from, so you always have the option to check out another place!
