Very friendly, even though I was clearly not from the area and a little intimidated. Great coffee too, worth the slightly higher price.

A small proper coffee shop in the Lower East Side perfect for getting your fix. If you appreciate great coffee, you’ll love Caffe Vita. Their roasts are consistent, flavorful, well-rounded, and smooth. Not much room for sitting aside from a few barstools so I wouldn’t recommend posting up shop but I WOULD recommend going if in the area OR if you’re in Manhattan. It’s THAT good. And hey, you’re in NYC, grab your coffee to go and go see everything. All of it. This city is meant for exploring, not lounging. Cheers.

French press, beans roasted on site, cold brew on tap. I ordered a shot of espresso once and the girl tossed it and made another one because«the last one was running too fast» as she poured a rocks glass of sparkling water to go with it. This place knows what’s important in life

Although the place is super small(you can’t seat more than 4 people in the café), the coffee is amazing. I had the Japanese iced coffee and it was delicious! Freshly brewed coffee right Infront of you!

I’ve been getting my coffee from Tiny’s Giant and Spreadhouse and haven’t been impressed. Wanted to try something new close by. Vita is outstanding. Hands down the best latte I’ve ever had. Barista was so quick and a multi-tasker! The latte is smooth and full of flavor. I’m honestly trying not to finish it in one sip! I’m certain I’ve found my new go-to coffee shop.

They seriously served me one of the best latte’s I’ve ever had. The place looks a bit sketch from the outside but it’s pretty warm and cozy once you step in. No tables here, they have six stools and a counter that you can stand up against. There are two small counters outside if you want to smoke while you sip. Pricing was excellent and the service was good.

Omg I’m so excited to find out that Caffe Vita is also in NYC now. I just moved here and was so sad that I would not be able to get their coffee anymore, which I did at their location in Silverlake. Without a doubt Caffe Vita has the best coffee and you can also buy it to make it at home

I ordered a regular latte, and it was DELICIOUS. The quality of the coffee here seriously puts Starbucks or even worse Dunkin Donuts to shame. The coffee beans were so fragrant, and the consistency was so perfectly rich and creamy without being overpowering. I ordered a small, and it was definitely enough to energize me for another 7 hours, and I am quite the caffeine lover. I like how the shop is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but not small enough that it is claustrophobic. Unfortunately, this means you really can’t linger around and do work, but the LES is a pretty fun area to walk around, so grabbing your coffee to go really isn’t that bad.

It’s hiding there on Ludlow but it’s worth the walk. The only espresso in the LES. They have the excellent doughnuts from doughnut . Cosy, small but very professional.

Great place to start the day with an excellent coffee. This place has a buzz about it in look, sound and coffee. Cheery service and good turnaround time in preparation. Macchiato was stunning. Lovely silky coffee with dense and generous foam. All three of us gave this place the big tick.

This espresso was indeed amazing, Abrocos is my favorite place, but now this place comes second. This espresso had one of the thickest foam i’ve probably ever had. The taste was extremely deep and rich. After taste acidic but amazing. Also, this shot is pretty strong, but seriously one of my favorite. My girlfriend had a latte and loved how dark it was. I’m definitely coming back to this place…

Stumbled upon Café Vita one day when my usual place Irving Farm was closed. This place has great staff that are super friendly and their cold brew is top notch. It is a very small space with one small table but I usually grab and go. The best part of the place maybe the fresh beans being roasted all of the time giving off an amazing aroma. The price of drinks is pretty standard for other similar establishments. It’s not an every day place(unless you can afford it) but if you need a pick me up and want something tasty check out Café Vita.

Good lawd. Rarely in all my excursions do I encounter truly fine, smoother than silk espressos/lattes. Vita easily landed in my top three with just one visit(the others being in Seattle, so of course this Seattle based caffe would be fantastic). This is the type of coffee that I crave — not meant to be hurried, it is for sipping and savoring. Truly a delight from the moment the first sip that hits your lips to the last. The flavor tantalizes the tastebuds. Service is casual, friendly, sincere. An all around outstanding experience, and I’m thrilled to have a new favorite/go-to in the city!

Awe! Caffe Vita a little taste of home. I went to Caffe Vita this morning since, even though I love NY, there’s always a little piece if my heart that will always belong to Seattle. Caffe Vita is definitely one of the best coffee spots. They roast their own beans. And their LES location is no different. I walk in and this rocker, all black clothes with patches was roasting up a batch of coffee beans. The aromas of the beans being roasted was making me salivate. It was early in the morning. I ordered an americano and found a little spot by the window to work on my little ipad with the attached keyboard. They let me know how to set up the wifi and I had a beautiful writing moment before I had to head to work. I would love if there was more space to sit at a larger table but it being LES and knowing how much rent is, I see this is the NY version of a Seattle favorite. I heart Seattle! And I love wearing my Caffe Vita baseball tee! And I use my pour over funnel all the time. Keep up the good work!

Caffe Vita is great, but I really can’t justify spending $ 5.44 on a small latte with an extra shot. Each latte(whether small, medium, or large) comes with only one shot… I find that at most coffee shops, a small has one shot, medium has two, etc. The iced coffee here is great(and slightly cheaper), because it’s both strong and flavorful. But I won’t be getting another latte from here anytime soon. Other than the price, this place is tiny but cute, and the baristas are quiet, but polite and friendly(I guess).

Best coffee & espresso in the LES. I’ve tried their coffee, red eyes, cappuccino, cold brew and their super intense Kyoto. Nice selection of pastries as well. I’ve tried a couple of other places but I always come back to Caffe Vita.

I don’t go here super frequently, but every time I’m in the area, this is the coffee shop I head to. The servers aren’t super friendly if you aren’t a regular, but they are nice enough. The real thing is that they just don’t fuck up the coffee. Its ALWAYS good, no matter what style/drink I choose. It’s small, so I never chill in here. They are more expensive but sometimes when you need a good coffee, its worth it.
