My girl friends and I stopped in here for drinks in a Saturday night. What a cute place inside! It’s dark but great vibe/crowd. It was packed but we stood by the bar and had no problem getting a drink nor did I feel I didn’t have enough room to stand. The drinks are strong. I had the Red Sailor drink which was good but wished I asked for it in a regular glass than a martini glass since I was standing with it.

Went with a friend for brunch. GREAT food(we both got pizzas) but unfortunately, terrible brunch drinks. Bellini had a foul aftertaste, Bloody Mary was extremely watered down. The sangria was the most drinkable option offered, but didn’t even have any fruit in it! I would go back to eat, but can’t recommend the drinks.

This hidden gem is great for brunch, in a city where everything is so expensive finding a bottomless brunch(2hrs from the min you sit down) for $ 20 including entrees is unheard of. This places décor is fantastic, on my next visit I’ll make sure I take pictures of not only my food by the interior décor.

My friends and I came here for brunch last weekend and had a great time! This place was packed — I highly recommend making reservations in advance. I was able to get a reservation only a couple of days in advance which was nice. We started with the truffle fries and I had pasta with bolognese for my main. For drinks, we tried the sangria and then the bellini, both of which were good! The drinks were flowing and everyone in the place was having a blast!

Honestly its more 2.5 stars. First off this is my second time at Carroll place. The first time was a decent experience. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. The waitress was also fairly attentive and very polite. Albeit they seated us at a uncomfortably small table but we didn’t care too much after the food arrived. The second time was just tragic. I had made a reservation for 2. We arrived and were told it would only take a couple minutes to clear the table. «Not a problem!» I thought. It was pretty busy so I can totally understand that. The hostess was very polite and even offered to seat us at a bar table if we didn’t want to wait anymore. Given our experience at the small tables the first time around we decided to wait for a normal sized table. 25 minutes later we are still waiting. The bouncer than comes over to us shouting that we are in everyone’s way and we can’t wait here. What’s the point of taking reservations in that case?! After being so rudley bullied by this man we did not feel comfortable being there so we cancelled and left. If you do happen to go, the Rosemary chicken wings are amazing!!!

Been here for one dinner and one for boozy brunch. When I came for dinner we got their Americana pizzas which was really good! They have a wood brick oven so the pizza was cook very well and the toppings were all great. The only reason I give this place three stars is that when I came back a second time the pasta dishes my friend and I got were really water-y. I got the Carbonara and it was literally just pasta with watered down carbonara sauce. I wanted to like it more but I really couldn’t. In terms of the drinks available there were standard options, peach Bellini, sangria and bloody Mary’s. I would come back for the boozy brunch as its only $ 24 but I will never order pasta from here again!

Went with a group of 7 for brunch on new year’s day. Brunch for $ 24 includes all you can drink mango bellinis/sangria/bloody marys and an entrée. Entrees were good sized portions. I liked the breakfast pizza with eggs on it. Other people in our party got eggs benedict or pasta. I was overall very happy with service. They weren’t stingy with the drinks and overall pretty attentive. We also ordered a chocolate filled crêpe for my uncle’s birthday, not on the house, but it was delicious. They called to confirm our reservation the day before which was nice. Would definitely recommend for brunch or for groups!

I came to Carroll Place for brunch a few months ago… Loved it!!! I had a pizza which was amazing! Of my 4 friends, 3 of us actually got pizza and thought it was great. One person ordered a burger and thought it was just okay. We(obviously) opted for the unlimited mimosas and they were a-flowin! I think we were there a lot longer than the 2 hour limit and never without a mimosa in our hands! Needless to say we stumbled outta there happy(and into another happy hour). Zero Stars for the my headache the next day… but it was well worth it! Can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah, this place is super cute inside too and the service was very friendly! Amazing deal for brunch. If you like to give your liver a champagne cleanse and enjoy a boozy Saturday or Sunday Funday check em out!

So let me start by saying the food was really good that we purchased for brunch. Everyone at my table was pleased with what they purchased. However, I wasn’t impressed by the service. We chose to make brunch reservations here for a couple of reasons. 1. They offered an unlimited brunch beverage service with the purchase of a brunch entry for a decent price. 2. Location. So let me start by saying that we did arrive a few minutes late for our reservation, we did however call to let them no we were about 10min late. I understand that they had to accommodate based on our tardiness but when we arrived they only had a small high top at the front of the bar available and nothing reserved for us in the actual restaurant. I don’t see the point in making reservations ahead of time for that table. Second, when the menu online states unlimited brunch beverage service without specifying which beverages our entire party thought that this would include traditional brunch mimosas but they only offered belinis, bloody marys and sangria. So we were pretty bummed out about that. They also would provide us just champagne or prosecco instead. Also I was the only person at my table who ordered sangria and for the first hour we were there I was only given one drink and after our food was dropped off, we never saw our original waitress again. I had to ask the hostess for a refill and a new waitress showed up. Our second waitress was extremely attentive but overall I wasn’t impressed with the service. I would come back for the food though so cudos to the kitchen, however my one suggestion to this establishment would be that they should list which specific brunch drinks are included on their website, so that someone else researching can get a clear picture of what to expect.

Carroll Place is a great place for brunch. My dinner experience was average, but I loved the brunch here. Brunch entrees are around $ 15 and under, or you can get an entrée and unlimited drinks for $ 24. The boozy brunch here is great: you can choose from peach bellinis, rose sangria, or bloody Mary’s. Would highly recommend the peach bellinis and rose sangria. The food was also great. I ordered the mushroom omelet it was delicious. My friends order of baked truffle eggs was good as well. They also have pizza and pasta options during brunch. I’m definitely coming back.

Great place for brunch. Especially with a group– very accommodating. We had a party of 20+ and the service was excellent, 2 hour brunch deal… We were overfed. The food was pretty good, we had a lot leftover which was surprising. We ordered the brunch deal — pasta, scrambled eggs and fries, pizza. Then ceasar salad(only OK) and rizotto balls for apps. Definitely will go again –really cool ambiance!

I came to this place for brunch and was very surprised. They had multiple options including pastas(carbonara with a poached egg!) and pizzas(breakfast pizza… with eggs!) and numerous breakfast items from sweet to savory including omlettes and Eggs in purgatory to «Pancakes and Gelato» and French toast. Its $ 24 for an entrée and unlimited drinks for 2 hours(belinis, sangria which I got and was good, mimosas, and bloody marys). It was a good deal. They fill up your drinks quickly and they are strong. After a while, they just left the carafe since we were drinking faster than they could refill. They easily accompanied our 8 person party and the place was empty at noon on a Saturday though it filled quickly but never got too loud or too uncomfortable. The décor was nice and fun, and service was good. The bathroom is unisex, with a common mirror and sinks but multiple stalls for either gender.

I came here to have a good brunch with my friends from Rotaract. Our reservation was for 13 people, but unlucky not everyone were able to attend, and the staff did not have a problem to changed us to a table of 7, a great gesture from them. Carroll Place is a great place in near The West Village, the restaurant have 2 floors in the 2nd floor features a balcony with make it perfect place for big groups. They have a good deals on brunch between 11:30am — 3:30pm where you can have unlimited brunch drinks; mimosa, bloody marry and screwdriver, with any brunch entrée for only $ 24, but if you order the NY Strip & Eggs, will cost you $ 5 more. I order the NY Strip & Eggs; a grilled NY strip steak with two eggs any style you want to. My steak was medium and my eggs were over easy. My steak was delicious, one of the best steaks I’ve eaten. The sides were also really good too. My friends order the pizza with was great too. The staffs were really friendly and fast did a good job with our table. Ps. the $ 24 doesn’t include tip and tax.

Happened upon this place while strolling around The Village &SOGLAD we did. Both food AND service were excellent. I had 4 different bruschetta, all of which were very tasty(although the mushroom one was a bit too salty for my taste). The roasted chicken with olives, broccoli rape & mashed potatoes that I had for the entrée was OUTSTANDING. Our server told me it is their signature dish & I can see why. It was bursting with wonderful flavors &PERFECTLY cooked. I was so stuffed that I couldn’t eat another bite, but their dessert selection did sound amazing. Next time! I’d go back in a heartbeat

Always a good choice. Chicken wings are great and I really like the communal table in the front high ceiling is nice with cool décor. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and you can order the menu at the bar while you wait. I’ve been here three times and guests always enjoy it. Christmas décor looks

While the food was ok the service was horrendous. The hostess told us we could have a table up front and then allowed another group to sit at the table. Once we were seated, I had to stop the manager to ask to for a server. The pizza and burger were both good. All of the sides were good as well. It was also incredibly warm in the restaurant. It was uncomfortable. I recommend the place work on the service.

Great place for brunch! I recommend making reservations ahead of time. It’s a cute quaint place. We came with a group of 6 and got seated upstairs. I got the bottomless brunch(mango peach bellini) — $ 24 for an entrée and bottomless drinks, it was pretty good!!! It basically tastes like a mimosa. The waitress kept refilling my drink, I didn’t have to ask once! I got the Buon Giorno Pizza(truffle cream, fresh mozzarella, speck, mushrooms & fried eggs). I don’t like marinara sauce so this pizza was perfect! It was a decent amount and thin crust– my fav! The pizza was delicious with plenty of toppings. I liked the two sunny side eggs on top. I also got a side of fries– nom! They have a lot of other choices for brunch eats as well such as french toast, other pizzas, pancakes, eggs, etc. I would def come back here for brunch! Staff is really friendly! They gave us a free crêpe just because the pizza took a little longer to come out.

Solid place for a drink or dinner. A huge bar in the front with dining tables in the back and upstairs. Calamari was good, the mushroom pizza with truffle oil delicious, and the salmon well cooked and properly seasoned. The food is reasonable priced but the drinks were a bit expensive. I would definitely go back, great spot for a casual dinner or date. There’s also live music on some nights. Check it out.

This place is pretty good, depending on what you’re looking for. My friend and I came here for brunch(note that the place probably has one of the cheapest bottomless brunches in NYC at only $ 20 per person including a main dish), but we ordered only main dishes. The menu is not extensive and has mostly heavy dishes such as pizzas, burgers, and pancakes. I ordered the truffled eggs with polenta. The eggs were a little overcooked, and the truffle flavor was slight but did not come through fully. Overall, the dish was pretty good but extremely filling and too heavy for my liking. My friend ordered the pancakes with gelato and was also stuffed. The service was just okay as well. But the ambience was a little rustic with a great wine bar feel to it. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for something light and healthy, but certainly I wouldn’t be disappointed coming here for the spectacularly-priced bottomless brunch or a hearty meal.

So I came here for Ladies Night with Joanna N. and Katie H. and this place truly deserves more of a 3.5 rating. Décor is definitely sexy here and it has a classy yet rustic feel. In my opinion, the key winners for the night were the Mascarpone & Clover Honey bruchetta and the original Carroll Place burgers with amazing truffle fries. I highly recommend getting the burger as it was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of juice flowing out of it. The Wood Fire Rosemary Wings had a smoky taste and were pretty good, but not AMAZING as everyone was claiming on Unilocal. The Meatballs in Pomodoro were somewhat bland and the other 3 bruschetta that we had were a little under-whelming. My least favorite of the bruschetta was the Taleggio & Mushroom because the flavor was very off putting. The Caponata & Goat Cheese and Burrata & Red Pepper were safer options, but I would highly recommend the Mascarpone & Clover Honey. I also agree with Joanna that the Melanzane Pizza was a little on the soggy side. Overall, come here for the atmosphere and the burgers!
