The moment I walked in, the staff, a creepy middle aged man, asked me if I was looking for a vibrator. That made me uncomfortable and I walked out instantly.

Although I prefer the shops that are owned by, designed for, and marketed to women, I’m also quite fond of these raunchy joints. This is one of many in the area, but I’m not here to make comparisons.
Most of the harnesses they carried here were obviously not designed with the female form in mind: pelvic pieces (the flat part where you insert the dildo) were either too wide, too hard, or both. They didn’t have a huge selection of dildos, nor cock rings. The prices for what they did have weren’t bad. Having worked at a few of these adult video stores/​arcades in my early adulthood, I can tell you, without exaggeration, that these items are marked up by 200−300% from wholesale. Overpriced? Yes, but that’s the industry.
Without going into so much detail as to embarrass my lovely girlfriend, we didn’t have a bad experience here. The clerk wasn’t too pushy, but he was attentive and he did want to make that sale. We didn’t walk in with the intent on buying anything, but we did walk out with something.

There are no less than 6 adult shops on this one block by the W 4^th St stop, between shopping for a couple items and being incredibly curious about the differences between the stores and wanting to find the best one I took the time to visit each of them. 3 of them I would recommend, 3 of them I would not. This is the smallest and dirtiest adult store I’ve ever been to with the smallest selection of just about everything. On top of that the middle aged Indian guy working here wouldn’t leave me be and even though I told him I didn’t need help he kept asking if I wanted to see anything and letting me know he’d give me a good deal (even though I wasn’t even looking at anything in particular yet). Maybe he was desperate because this was the worst of all the shops in the area? I have no idea how this one stays in business.
