Tic Tac Toe

I am all for customer service. Bad customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t return. I have been to Tic Tac Toe several times in the past last time being about 5 years ago. We went in at 1:30. There were about 4 girls who appeared to be working. They were all by the front counter. My fiancé and I were the only two people in the store. The girls were having their own conversations which is fine but they were very loud and I should be able to hear what they are saying. They were making fun of prior customers which made me uncomfortable because it made me wonder what they were going to say about us when we left. I asked one of the girls for a specific item. She walked us to one of the cases and showed me one of their items. I wasn’t a fan of the appearance of the one she had so I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. With a bad attitude told me the item I was showing her was a garbage and they didn’t have it. I showed her another one and she gave me the same attitude. I asked her if she can take it out of the box so i can it. (I had no intention on touching it. I have been to other stores such as the pink pussy cat next door and they took everything out of the box for me.) she said no. I then walked to the back where the regular vibrators were. She wanted a quick sale. She assumed what I wanted and wasn’t helpful.
I was uncomfortable the entire time. I refuse to spend money in a place where the employees either don’t offer to help or who have nasty attitudes. I don’t care what time it is. If your job is to sell things then you put a smile on your face and are friendly and helpful. If not, your in the wrong department. The owner of this store should be highly upset because their employees just lost them a good customer. I don’t buy cheap stuff. I’m always updating things and spend a good few hundred a month. Hopefully, they brush up on their customer service and this doesn’t happen again to someone else.

Came here twice, first time was 5 years ago and again back in February of this year. Both times I had a feeling like I was bothering the rude unpleasant staff that seem to only be there to follow you everwhere to prevent you from stealing everything? !?
The internet is the best place to find stuff like they sell, like at Yandy, Amazon, etc…
Why be annoyed and bothered by these rude people when everything I want can be delivered a couple of days later?
I see on here that I’m not the only one that thinks their staff sucks.

Excellent place. is not to expensive. Amazing stuff … The stuff helped me to find what I was looking for. I give 5 stars.

Now this was the store I was looking for. It has a wide variety of vibrators and dildos. The associate was very cute and helpful with a good knowledge of all the products. My first time purchasing those little bullet vibrators. I last longer with sex than those little batteries in those vibrators.

Came in today for some bachelorette party tchotskis. Terrible customer service. Dead-​pan looks when you walk in. No warm greeting from the staff. Wouldn’t have even have come here if Pink Pussycat wasn’t mysteriously closed for the day.
The bachelorette items are hard to see on the wall as they are mostly all on top of each other, and some of them are so far down they’re almost on the floor. One girl who worked there was unloading inventory from boxes and actually seemed offended that I was in HER way while trying to look at the items.
I also got asked to «stand on the other side» of the counter as opposed to next to the ever-​SO-​friendly girl who collected and rung-​up my items. I would have done so, but of course there was someone else organizing inventory on the other side of that counter. Was I supposed to stand ON her?
Would never come back here again.

Walked in looking for a gag gift and about 5 girls were standing right at the door. None of them said anything to me and only stared, so I had to assume whether or not they worked there. I asked one that seemed like she worked there where I could this find funny bacherlorette gift. They all continued to stare and not say anything, then they giggled really loud.
Already very frustrated, I pushed through them and walked to the back, one of the girls followed me then opened some chain to the stairs and gestured me to walk up. I figured what I was looking for was up there. They didn’t sell what I was looking for.
So quick recap:

Next time I’ll just buy online through Amazon instead of trying to support stores in nyc like this.

Today is wednesday and the door is now locked at 11:10pm. The woman was rude and yelled at us by saying we are closed early. This business should keep their words as the closing time is midnight.

I purposely waited a day from when I visited Tic Tac Toe to write this review, in hopes that my opinion/​objective ness would change. It didn’t.
I went there yesterday in search of shoes, and also to browse their novelties.
So, I’ll start with product. They have HUGE selection of dance wear. Which is pretty cool. I think you can purchase these items for MUCH less online but when in quickie need, it works! They seemed to also have a huge selection of «toys» but I didn’t explore that area much.
Here’s the problem, I had been to Tic Tac Toe previously and despite reading a few negative reviews about the staff, I had a pleasant experience!
This time I wasn’t so lucky.
From the moment I’d walked in all FOUR employees that were staffed for the day were ON me. I mean, the place isn’t huge. So I felt a bit bombarded and frankly, uncomfortable. There was no masking it with, a friendly, «can I help you with anything?» No. Just blank, rude, stares.
At one point the eyes on my back made me so uncomfortable that I dropped something I’d been holding onto. I laughed, coyly and looked at the attended and made a funny comment about perhaps needing a shopping basket. She didn’t laugh. Just stared…
So I kept along, and moved upstairs. I really needed shoes.
Upon getting to the upper level where they kept the shoes, I decided to check out more product, but the girl that followed me upstairs was eyeing me so much that at one point she yelled out, «everything is one size fits all»
If it were friendly, and she walked up to me and was HELPING me (as she should have been) it would have been different but it was just… rude.
When I finally made my way over to the shoes, I saw that their collection was descent but not as many choices as I remembered. Fine.
I tried on a few pairs with the initial girl that had followed me upstairs.
She was descent enough to deal with, yet still a bit cold and seemed overall annoyed with her job. Then another girl came upstairs and informed the first girl that there was inventory that needed to be sorted through so they switched. I’d been waiting on the first girl to find me a pair of shoes to try on and before she went downstairs she directed the new girl to the pair I needed.
So, I’m sitting there, shoes off, waiting to try on these shoes. And nothing is happening. I FEEL eyes behind me so, I turned around and the girl says, in the most glum, perturbed voice, «Did you need something?»
She completely ignored the fact that I’d been waiting for shoes?
In the end, I spent $ 175 here. My much needed shoes, and a new outfit.
In as much of a nutshell as possible, this place is cool, material wise. But TERRIBLE customer service, wise.

I love this place I never walk out empty handed. I’ve never encountered a rude staff member. If you go upstairs, someone comes up with you (I think it’s in case you need help however they might be checking to see if you shoplift). Either way, it’s nice to know someone is always right there when you need help.
They have toys, lingerie, shoes, some gowns (but not nice ones), and miscellaneous things like pasties. Everything is pretty much a standard price when it comes to comparing their items to other stores.
One thing… Sometimes, one size does NOT fit all. Just saying.

Pretty good selection. Very over priced though. Great place to go if you are looking for Pole Dancing/​Stripper shoes, they have a pretty decent selection. I was completely turned off by the unfriendly sales person who followed us around the store and our every move. I understand theft is probably an issue at this store but, she could’ve taken it a bit easier. Or at least smiled. I wont be returning. i’ll either order online of find other places to purchase my «unmentionables»

Ive been here quite a few times. My only complaint about the store is the EMPLOYEES. OMG… I walked in and the girl working there said ‘let me know if you need help with anything.’ ok fine… I walked towards the back of the store and she squeezed around me to stand in the corner and watch me… like literally made me move so she could stand there and stare at me… How can I even look at things in peace with this rachet girl literally standing right behind me the whole time Im in the store??? When I walked back to the front to leave she FOLLOWED ME BACK OUT… I mean damn, you’re THAT scared people are going to steal that you would rather lose a sale by harassing the customers? The people that work here are morons.

What’s not to like about this seemingly tiny store crammed in with every piece of thing you could need for your regular sex, fetish sex, kinky sex needs?!
One of my first go to places when I needed gear for my pole dancing classes over 7 years ago. Raven has been there forever and she is really knowledgeable about all of the products they carry and trust me there are a TON of them. Actually all of the staff is very friendly and professional and really know their way around the store. It’s a great place to pick up items for bachelorette parties and showers as well from penis pops to novelty wear. The store has 2 levels so head on up for all of your shoes and costume needs. They usually run a great sale on shoes too. They also have a large selection of bustiers for every size and shape and they will happily fit you into it once purchased.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been coming here for YEARS!
They have everything you need and their prices vary from very cheap to expensive, depending on what you are looking for. They even have cute novelty items for parties or cute little costumes for a night of fun. Whatever questions you may have, the sales associates are knowledgeable and helpful. No need to be bashful in this place. They even recommend their own personal favorites. lol.
My night stand drawer is well stocked, thanks to this place. :0)

I went to Tic Tac Toe because they do have a pretty good apparel and shoe selection. However, YOU CANNOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE ANYTHING AT THIS STORE. I was in the market for a pair of sequin panties – because who isn’t?
There are only two sizes for these panties: S/​M and M/​L. I had selected the M/​L and allowed the sales person to persuade me that the panties would be too large. She would not allow me to try on the panties over my yoga pants and so I blindly purchased the S/​M for $ 38.
Of course, when I go home I discovered that my ass crack is completely visible and while the panties look great from the front, they are horrible from the back. And now, I cannot return or exchange them. Lucky me. BEWARE.

Had what I was looking for, and have a ton of stuff and they know where everything is. I was impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. The girls there are on point.
A little pricier, but you will probably find what u need.

This is the type of place you stumble into when you’re drunk with a group of friends.
They have a collection of false eyelashes like you’ve never seen. Would make a drag queen fight you for them on the street.

That is what filled my inconspicuous black plastic bag when I walked out of Tic Tac Toe this past Saturday, $ 100 lighter in the wallet. Sure, you think penis candy will be cheap but then you realize that Duane Reade doesn’t carry that stuff. Fortunately, I live mere blocks from «Sex Store Lane» (W 4^th between Christopher and 6^th Ave) and scuttled into this basement shop due to the noticeable lack of crotchless panty-​wearing mannequins and large «Erotic Novelties» signage. The crotchless panties are in fact behind the cash register inside FYI.
So if, like me, you are looking for cheesy bachelorette party supplies or gag gifts then this is the place. They’ve got stripper costumes, vibrators, dildos, dental dams… you name it, they’ve got an overpriced version of it. The stripper costumes are buy one get one free right now though so… ahem…better hurry. And in case you were worried… Bessie disappeared into the night late last Saturday. Let’s just hope she’s in good hands now… or even better, in blow-​up bestiality cow heaven.

There are no less than 6 adult shops on this one block by the W 4^th St stop, between shopping for a couple items and being incredibly curious about the differences between the stores and wanting to find the best one I took the time to visit each one. 3 of them I would recommend, 3 of them I would not. This is one that I would (with reservations though)…
II don’t know if it’s coincidental but when I’ve been here with a girl the sales girl can never leave us alone and when I’ve been here by myself it wasn’t as bad (I don’t remember if the pest girl was the same girl both times or if she was there when I’ve come here by myself). Even when we say we’re just looking the sales girl kept answering questions we weren’t asking on everything we looked at. She was so much of a pest that last time I literally couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
This aside prices are about the same as most other shops (much more expensive then online but generally cheaper than fancier boutiques like Babeland). I actually found one item here that they were selling for $ 26 that I saw online for $ 9 (most of the time the markups weren’t that bad though).
I still rounded up to 4 stars though because they had the best selection of just about everything compared to the other shops, they had a second floor with just clothing, and the sales girl (despite being way too persistent) had a good amount of knowledge about everything.
