The tights were ripped when I took then out of the package and they refused to exchange them. Over priced and cheap quality. Never buying tights there again.

The tights I bought here ripped right when I put them on — I would never buy tights here again.

I am mistreated and received false accusation for theft by both Gigi K store representatives named Yejin and the Korean girl (coz she didn’t speak English but Korean to me! crazy This is US and I don’t understand your mother tongue okay) at 60West, 8^th St. store in New York City today at 4:21pm. (receipt attached below). I never ever had this embarrassment in life and I decided to report to you to ask for a formal apology.
I walked in this store to buy intimate clothing and I found the items I like. During the time, Yejin kept trying to selling me short leather gloves (the one with black on the back and purple on the front), which was fine. I politely said I don’t need them and was ready to check out. She didn’t say a word but bring me to checkout. After I paid for the items and was ready to leave, the Korean girl, using high-​pitch voice from the front and said ‘the purple gloves are missing!!!’ And she kept repeating again and again to me ‘she (Yejin) just showed you the gloves and now there are missing’. God, during the whole time, Yejin was alongside with me and she could have vouched for me but she did not. Instead, both she and the Kore girl were looking at me, sort of forced me to open the bag and my pockets from the trench coat. I wanted to refuse but they seemed as I couldn’t get out if I don’t show them. THIS IS EXTREMELY HUMILIATING.
And by the way, when I walked out, the purple gloves were just right THERE, found them just on the shelf! Were they blind or they just got nothing to do but interrogate the customer?
What I suggest, educate your store representatives on getting familiar with the items and their positions instead of questioning customers at the first place.
I take this seriously as a false accusation and have all the evidence including receipt and surveillance camera in the store.
I am requesting a formal and public apology letter from Yejin and the Korean girl at 60West 8^th St. New York store or I will go seek for legal service for further advice.

I bought a pair of Gigi’s tights to wear for Halloween. I went home, tried them on, realized I didn’t like them. Then, the next week I went back to the store to return the tights with the original packaging and receipt. The sales girl told me she wouldn’t return the tights because I had worn them. She stated the waist band wouldn’t look like that if they were brand new. I even asked to speak with the manager. When the manager came out to speak to me, she was extremely rude to me. I tried to explain that I hadn’t worn the tights but no one would listen to me. She even started to yell at me. I have never in my life been treated like this.
The sad thing is I really liked the store and had planned to shop there more often. Plus, it is a block away from my apartment. Gigi’s poor customer service has yet cost her another customer and more loss in revenue.

Some cool items here. I suspect the place is Chinese-​owned and run as the two women working there did not seem Japanese… I think they were Chinese. What was also really weird and uncomfortable was… in this small shop I was initially the only customer in there and the two women who worked there were practically breathing down my throat while I was browsing… it was almost as if they thought I might be trying to… shoplift?! (I later noticed a sign on the wall with a camera image of a previous shoplifter that they were apparently still trying to apprehend. Maybe these socks/​tights are easy items to snag and pop into one’s bag, and I guess certain people would be motivated considering how expensive these socks/​tights can be. But to potentially assume then that all customers must be watched like a hawk??)

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I absolutely would never walk in any place that Gigi Kwon owns ever again. She was not only pushy about selling me stockings and pantyhose, she was insulting. My husband brought me in there to have me take a look to see if I was open to wearing anything in there. (I normally don’t wear pantyhose or stockings, just don’t have a preference for them.) So I was looking around and Gigi showed me a few stockings and I wasn’t really interested in them. She was very pushy about it, asking me why I never wear stockings or pantyhose with any skirts or dresses. I just told her I didn’t like the feel of them. She then proceeded to say «I don’t understand why Americans like to have bare legs, it’s not sexy, it’s not nice, etc.» She kept on going on and on about it, saying that for her, in her country, they’re not allowed to have bare legs. She was basically insulting me right in my face. It was also unnecessary for her to blatantly judge my outfit I was wearing today (which was a chambray button down shirt, jeans and sneakers –a very casual day for me) especially when she doesn’t even know me. The theme of her shop is very similar to today’s modern style for women in Harajuku, Tokyo. I’ve been to Tokyo numerous times, so I’ve experienced the differences in our cultures. While I appreciate what they have to offer, I’m most grateful to be a woman in a society where I can have variety of expressions, so having «bare legs» while in a dress or skirt is a preferred option for me and many other women. Overall, I walked into this store with an open mind, hoping to add something new to my wardrobe, but between the workers bombarding me and Gigi insulting me, it made me so uncomfortable that I will never support any business she owns.

Some of the most beautiful hosiery I’ve ever seen, seriously. I would never spend more than $ 40 for a pair of socks, except when it’s the most beautiful pair of knee-​high socks from GiGi K.
The only thing I really don’t like about this store and what keeps me from stopping in more often (this is probably good for my wallet) is that the sales girls are SO pushy. I don’t feel comfortable browsing because they’re constantly like, «How about this?» «Or this?» I see, ladies. I have eyes and can look on my own.
I was actually going to buy something today, but they scared me away. I just couldn’t deal with their pushiness. Calm down, sales ladies!

Cute stuff, can be a tad pricey.
I was the only customer at the time and two salesgirls followed me around the whole time, picking up and hard selling anything I happened to glance at, or not, even though I said I was just browsing and don’t need help. It was really uncomfortable and awkward, especially given the small space, and made me want to leave right away. Chill out! I said I’d let you know if I have questions.

Let me preface this by saying that the product here is really nice, but everything is one-​size-​fits all.
I bought 2 pairs of Gigi’s tights. Being a 6′ tall woman, one pair were clearly way too small for me. Returned the tights, in mint condition & original packaging complete with Gigi’s custom gift wrap.
Two rather embarrassed sales girls informed me that Gigi herself told them NOT to honor my sale with either an exchange or refund. I religiously save my receipts, but this time, apparently had placed said paper somewhere special; I turned the house upside down searching for it to no avail.
The sad thing is I really like this shop and was prepared to become a devoted customer for years to come. Gigi’s piss-​poor customer service policies leave her one 6′ customer fewer and me with a $ 40 pair of tights that will never be worn. BOOO Gigi, BOOO.

This stocking shop GiGik has overwhelmingly amount of stockings and they are so detailedly made. I got a pair of grey color stocking with laces on the back. Way too sexy, hah!

$ 34 for imported Japanese patterned stockings.
Having your legs encased in hosiery that’s both comfortable and eye-​pleasing? Priceless.
The ladies who work here are super friendly & patiently laid to rest my «one size may not fit most» concerns.

Little shop that sells the most beautiful and unique tights, imported from Japan. Yes, it’s pricey but the tights look amazing and last. I have bought a number there for myself and as presents and have been very happy. Great patterns, cute designs — from very girly to classy (think Japanese Mad Men sexy).

What a nice surprise when I was walking down University to meet a friend. Total impulse stop in and left with two pairs of amazing tights. The first is a really durable pair of crocheted stockings and the second a pair of opaque black stockings with an attached garter belt. My total was a bit over $ 100, but well worth it as the quality is top notch. The two women who helped me were an absolute pleasure and so sweet. I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful little shop of tights and leggings with attentive shopgirls and gorgeous wares. I would have bought half of the store had each packet not been on average $ 40. But I did walk away with one pair of tights that have received at least one compliment a day for each time I’ve worn them — from strangers, from co-​workers, from friends … this is worth it and I’ll be adding to my collection through the coming season.

An enormous amount of tights, leggings and footies to choose from. The cool part; none are anything like you’ve seen. They are all uniquely designed with fun lace, stripes or other designs on the tights. I feel like when I walk around, I won’t see anyone wearing these,…and I like that.
Every pair is made in Japan and shipped over here, and they do not sell the product in retail stores.
The only problem with this place is the price. $ 34 for tights?! I mean, I paid it because of their uniqueness… but the quality isn’t worth $ 34. I think $ 25 or even $ 22 is more reasonable. To their defense, the durability has proven to be of good quality, but as far as the feel of the tights goes… they’re aren’t soft of silky feeling like others I’ve bought at a similar price from Bloomies.
Otherwise, I am a fan and will return soon! :)
