Is it the best chicken I’ve ever had? No. But if is it one of the best values out there? Yes. I got the half chicken meal, which includes: Half chicken(duh) 2 sides(I got mashed potatoes, salad) Soda/water Pita bread That’s $ 10, which is a great deal! The mashed potatoes were really quite good and you get a decent portion. The salad was also a decent size, although they forgot to give me dressing. There was plenty of cucumber, tomato, and carrots. The lettuce was fresh. In terms of the chicken, I thought it was pretty good. It’s not super juicy, but it also wasn’t stringy or dry. It satisfied my craving. The place is more of a take-out or delivery place, but they do have a couple bar-style seating along the wall and window.

I was expecting this place to be like the Chicken Lovers in Bayside, Queens. They do share the name, after all. But that’s about where the similarities end. Extremely dry chicken, pitiful selection of sides. Rice & Beans counts as two sides. Come on, now. The second star is for the extremely friendly and good service, but that’s about all I can give.

Solid, unspectacular — but all that I would want from delivery. They were running 50% off so at that price, pretty hard to pass up. It did take an hour for delivery, so definitely on the longer side by the delivery guy was nice about it. Pork souvlaki on pita — a little on the dry side, healthy portion though. Would pass and try something different in the future. ¼ Chicken — a little smokey, more moist than the pork, probably your best bet from a place called chicken lovers

I love this place! Nice to find good, cheap, quick eats that isn’t a bagel store or pizzeria. While we have excellent restaurants around this area, they are pricey and sometimes you need something quick and easy for lunch. Its great that it tastes awesome too. White rice is greatly flavored and the salad is fully loaded. Highly recommend the ¼ dark meat with two sides.

This new chicken stop is the best in the neighborhood. I’ve already ordered about 3 times from here. Good quality chicken & juicy. Their chop chop is to die for, so much flavor in each bite.

New chicken shop that just opened up earlier this month called Chicken Lovers. I ordered the whole chicken to see just how massive it was and it’s pretty much the size of your standard Costco rotisserie chicken. Two breasts, two wings, two thighs, and two drumsticks. It was grilled chicken and pretty flavorless. I mean the smokey aspect was there, but there’s really nothing else I can identify as flavor. The chicken also came with two pita breads, which was super random and then three ‘dipping sauces,’ one seemed to be a really watered down version of the jalapeño green sauce you get at Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine, another was pretty bland bbq sauce, and the last was this awkward concoction of water, avocado, tomato, perhaps a sprinkling of jalapeño, and then some more water. I also ordered a side of coleslaw, which cost $ 3.49. It was heavy on the mayo, but other than that it was decent. The chicken was priced at $ 10.74, so if you’re going for straight up volume, then feel free to order or eat the chicken here. Delivery was speedy enough. Overall it’s a meh. And now my stomach is grumbling.
