I ordered the appetizer combo, a Thai tea and a pad Thai from them today on Seamless. The pad Thai was the worse that I have ever had. The chicken tasted like it was, old and going bad and not even seasoned. So nasty it made me gag. It sucks because with tax, tip and all I paid almost $ 30! Unfortunately I only ordered from them because they were cheaper than some others, so I guess I can see why now. You get what you pay for. I will never order from them again! So mad!

I ordered for delivery and they were very prompt. Ordered pad Thai chicken and shrimp. It was very tasty and seemed fresh. Will definitely order from here again.

Chili Thai has very fast delivery! I was having a late dinner at work and found this place off of Seamless with great ratings(and the fastest delivery time) so my colleagues and I decided to order from it. Even during dinner peak time, they delivered in 30 min! I got the tom yum soup and the pad see ew. I’ve never had tom yum soup before so I just wanted to give it a try. I wasn’t expecting the soup to have a little spice to it so I might stay away from it the next time. But the pad see ew was amazing! Even in a takeout container, the food was still very good. I think I will definitely order this the next time, given the very fast delivery time.

This is the worst bar I have ever been too because of the customer service. I literally had a waiter tell us to «get the f**k out the table unless you are ordering something». The prices are good but I rather pay double to get a nice waiter. He doesn’t give a crap about anyone but himself. Please don’t come here if you’re reading this review. Save your time and money.

Spring rolls were decent but the pad thai was literally the worst smelling food i’ve ever ordered. It smelled legitimately like pet food and I simply could not bring myself to eat it(even though it may have tasted fine). Never ordering again.

Good food, reasonable price and a few blocks from times square. The only drawback is the size of the location. Seating is tight so expect your table being bumped.

Great lunch specials starting at $ 6.90!!! I got the Basil Eggplant with chicken– packed with lots of veggies and a nice spicy sauce, it hit the spot. Also comes with an appetizer(spring rolls, dumplings, salad or soup!) Quick service too– really recommend for a quick bite to eat if you’re in the area.

Best asian food I ever had! Don’t be afraid of the look of the restaurant! It’s delicious with very(!) reasonable prices! Edit: was there the 2nd time in a row, still 5⁄5! Good appetizer, entrée and dessert! Would really reccomend !

Just one word: Delicious! Fresh food, awesome taste, friendly service and very resonable prices. Don’t delude yourself of the small restaurant with only a ten tables. Check it out :-)

I ordered from Chili Thai for delivery. Delivery was fast. There was, unfortunately, a one and a half inch long dead cockroach in my complimentary salad. I threw everything out. :(

This was a very difficult review for me. If you only care about food quality, this is easily a 4 or 5(closer to 4) star place. I’ve ordered from this place around 3 times previous to the following poor experience, and all 3 times the food was tasty and enjoyable. However, the customer service is bad enough that I had to drop them 1 or 2 stars in spite of their very tasty Thai food. I ordered Tom Yum and received something close to water + vegetables. When people have Tom Yum, they know that OOMPH you get when you take that first bite. This was just water and vegetables. BUT, you know what? Mistakes happen. That’s fine. I called the restaurant and they offered to send over another one. Great. However, this is where the customer service becomes really bad. I asked for an extra Jasmine Rice to be included. The guy said it was extra, and I asked him if he could comp it due to the problem. If he said«no,» I’d be fine with that. I’d pay. However, he said«ok, sure.» 1 hour later, I get my new soup… and no rice. The delivery man also refused to give me the soup until I gave him the old soup(which I did happily, but found hilariously rude considering he didn’t have my rice with him). The new soup? Same as the old soup. No Tom Yum flavor… nothing. Just water and vegetables. I called them back up to ask for the rice, and NOW he said«sorry, you have to pay for it.» Well that would have been nice to know BEFORE, when I called and YOUAGREED to send it for free. Now, I’m aware this could be an isolated incident, but the guy was so rude and literally laughing at me on the phone that I felt I had no choice but to knock them 1 or 2 stars. I could have rated them only 1 or 2 stars because honestly, lying to a customer and then laughing at him is worth 1 star, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt more often than not.

The service wasn’t that bad but food was horrible. Everything too salty and sweet. The price is okay, it is only 6.95 for lunch with one pick of appetizer. Garlic Fish was good though. Wish it was less salty though. Beer deal is cool, $ 3 per bottle. So if you are looking for cheap food in Hell’s Kitchen, go and check it out.

I’m sorry Chili Thai I’m not diggin you as much as I used to. I think you’ve changed. The tom yum which I was famous for craving and would come running on many hungry occasions, just isn’t the same. Its kind of bland, lukewarm, but filled with lots of mushroom chunks. nonetheless. Pad thai too was quite flavorless actually, when I used to ask for spicy it would happen. This was not happening, it made me sad. Maybe its the new year and change is weird right now for everyone, but I’m not into Chili Thai anymore. I’d rather go to Pam Real at this point, which I’ve also been a fan of for a long time. So many places to go, I’m gonna skip this one for a while. Best wishes old friend.

9th ave is full of Thai food and don’t underestimate this some little Thai spot. They have the best Thai food on the strip and the wait is quick!!! That is all we need quick service! My co workers and I usually get the lunch special during lunch and the price is usually less than $ 8 per person. What a deal!!! And we get a appetizer!!! :)

It was okay. Overpriced. Their massaman curry is too sweet. Their fried rice is good. Thai iced tea is also good.

I ordered the lunch special, which is really cheap at a little more than $ 6. However, the food wasn’t that great. The chicken pad thai was not flavorful and even tasted a little sour. The steamed dumplings appetizer was gross! They were very solid and were bland.

Hm my dinner was just okay – nothing terrible but nothing great. I ordered from this place off of Seamless because people said they deliver good food really quickly so perhaps my expectations were off. The food didn’t really come that quickly and it wasn’t too tasteful. I got the fried spring roll and the Tom Yum noodles. I thought the spring rolls would be good because I love them so much but these just taste like bland. I didn’t really inspect what was inside but I think it was veggies. My soup was EXTREMELYHOT. And so was the little box that held my noodles. I was burned just by touching it! The soup was good, so I kept drinking that. But I wish the noodles were softer or soaked up some flavor. Yes, maybe it’s the fact that I ordered to-go and the noodles were smashed in a little box but they were pretty hard even after I soaked it in the soup for 20 minutes. The only good thing I can say about this place is how little money you can spend to get full. I only finished half my soup noodles and was already putting it away.

The price is still solid, but in terms of quality/taste I feel that Chili Thai has taken a bit of a dip. Maybe it is because I’ve eaten at close to a dozen Thai restaurants in the area(Hell’s Kitchen), maybe my taste have changed, but on the overall I feel they dropped the ball. I still recommend giving them a shot.

Old friends recommended this place as one of their favorite, «yummy food, not expensive» go-to dinner spots. My friends are brilliant… and eat well. Teeny tiny place. Mostly a take out/delivery place in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. Everything our party of 6 had was devoured. From chicken lettuce wraps to duck to fish to dumplings. Quality food, made fresh in a teeny tiny kitchen you must walk through to go to the loo. Remember the place sits only about 12 people so, don’t come with a crowd, or consider calling and taking out. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks to my NYC pals for the terrific find in a land of tiny little dives and bars and dive bars.
