Snack: Chocolate Sea Salted Caramel Cookie Food: 5⁄5 Atmosphere: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Average: 5 This was probably one of the tastiest cookies I’ve ever had in my life. It’s unfortunate that it is no longer open.

Perfect ambiance to read a book, meet up with a friend, or just snuggle up with a hot chocolate and watch the rain. The liquid hot chocolate was on point. Perfect amount of sweetness, they used REAL melted dark chocolate, and it tasted rich without being over-saturating. I also bought a couple chocolate bars and was very impressed. Their milk chocolate is, well, perfectly«milky.» The«spicy milk» bar is strategically dusted with powdered chipotle and cinnamon on the bottom of the bar so each piece you place on your tongue will get a decadent taste of spice. I think I secretly wish it was a bit spicier, but it’s perfect as is. They also have a line of «cereal bars» with is their house chocolate recipe with creative fixins of cheerios, corn flakes, and the works. I’ll update once I try the cornflakes – which I am sure will be mind-blowing.

Cute spot to stop in and grab a cup of coffee and a delicious chocolate snack. Tried the almond chocolate filled croissant and s’mores. Yum!

The liquid dark chocolate… hot or cold… I can’t put it down. It’s that good. They also have coffee, tea, cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, and chocolate morsels. It’s a cozy little spot in the W.V. that offers free wifi. What more could you want?!? You can also add flavors to liquid chocolate(may I suggest the raspberry…) or make it a «buzzed» drink(w/coffee). Small liquid dark hot chocolate = $ 4

This place is so cute, I want to bottle it up and pinch its cheeks. There are three main reasons to come here: 1) The chocolate everything of it all 2) The adorable hipster staff and their laid back, tech-savvy ‘tudes 3) The young clientele and their awesome dogs(a ratio of 1:1 during the early morning sojourn rush) I enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. Skip the Coconut Black Tea, since it’s not exactly a home brew. In terms of space, there’s only room for about eight people, spread across a couple of tables and some window bar seats. So don’t expect to be able to hang during busy times. If you do manage to snag a seat, though, you’re in for some awesome people-watching.

My girl friend and I were aimlessly strolling the West Village when we decided we must find a cute café with delicious hot chocolate and a bathroom. Chocolate Bar met our needs; we wanted to go based on the name. The place itself is very small and only has a few tables. The staff was friendly as expected. We both ordered hot chocolates and were not disappointed. The hot chocolates were creamy, rich, and HOT, satisfying my sweet tooth. One of us had to stand because of how small the spot is. Maybe I’ll come back again if I’m in the area freezing and frantically looking for a restroom.

I had a craving for real good hot chocolate for a couple of weeks(the weather has been so cold). After a show on Saturday night, my friends and I found this place. Since it was half an hour before close, the shop was not crowded and had fun indie music playing. The staff is great and made an excellent cup of hot chocolate with soy milk. Mmm… totally hit the spot. In addition to a plethora of hot chocolate flavors, they have chocolate bars, chocolate bonbons and a varied selection of tea.

I wanted to love chocolate bar. So much potential. I tried a few items and none of them really wow-ed me. I had: Pumpkin chocolate chip cookie-Don’t love pumpkin so obviously didn’t love this Peanut butter flourless chocolate chip cookie-Pretty good Brownie-It wasn’t exactly fudgy, but not cakey either. Neither here nor there. Liquid Chocolate aka hot chocolate-Tasted more like powdered hot chocolate than«liquid» chocolate. Still decent. There’s only a few tables and they have a large selection of chocolates. I would maybe give it another shot.

Chocolate bar is a nice pit stop in the village if you’ve got a hankering for something sweet. There’s nothing to call home to your momma about, but it’s a nice experience. Their spicy milk chocolate sucker(lollipop) is decent. I wasn’t blown away by the chocolate, but it wasn’t bad either. Their spicy hot dark chocolate wasn’t bad either. It was very thick, which I absolutely love, but it was much sweeter than I would’ve liked.

didn’t have such an amazing experience at Chocolate Bar PLUS there’s just too much other good chocolate to indulge in throughout NYC 3 tables &2 counter seats inside for you to enjoy your GOODIES –mole chocolate bar: the spicy kick was NOT enjoyable! i love spicy but maybe this was a bit extreme —peanut butter chocolate cookie: very crumbly & honestly nothing special they offer lots of chocolates, ice cream, pastries, coffee, AND liquid chocolate so who knows maybe i just gotta find my poison thanks paypal app for the freebies!

Can’t go wrong with a name called«Chocolate Bar» — thankfully it stays true to its title and delivers on that sweet goodness. Kid-in-a-candy-store feel, with chocolate bars along the wall, and baked goods/ice cream up front. Got an iced PB Liquid Chocolate drink spiked with espresso($ 6). Not as thick as its hot counterpart, but big peanut butter taste that overwhelms even the espresso. Great drink to walk around the summer city with. While I was waiting for the drink(took about 5 minutes), got a Caramel Cookie($ 3) to satiate my sugar fix. Was starting to get worried that I didn’t taste any caramel at all, but once I got to the middle the caramel oozed from the bottom like a Snickers bar. The sea salt on top was a nice touch. Definitely want to go back for the PB bar and ice cream.

I had hoped this place would be good for writing since chocolate is key to good fiction. Just ask Hemmingway. Though there are a few seats along the wall and bar seating by the window, all of these are rather uncomfortable for long term sitting. That said, I did very much enough my hot chocolate and I like the ambiance. The window is great for people watching. If you’re looking for great Euro-style drinking chocolate and you’re in the neighborhood, I encourage you to drop by.

Never knew this place existed. Since I was already going to get coffee somewhere else, I opted to try out their chocolate — after all, this IS a «chocolate bar». Their heart-shaped chocolates came in singles for $ 1.50 each or 8 for $ 12. Since I had $ 5 credit from PayPal, I went for 4 singles. Green Tea — the matcha filling was not strong enough Condensed milk(actual name started with a «C» but I forgot what it was called) — nice creamy and milky center Pomegranate — my favorite of the bunch, I think. Burst of flavor. Blackcurrant — had both creamy filling and jelly-like filling Overall, I was satisfied with the chocolates and fillings. Service wise, I was standing in front of the chocolate counter for quite a while before anyone even looked at me, let alone serviced me. The workers seemed to be conversing among themselves… and they were not all that friendly.

What a cute little shop! Never would have discovered it if it wasn’t for Paypal offer! Stopped by after school for a quick pick me up — large black coconut iced tea and three chocolate truffles(grapefruit, lime sesame, and green tea). I’m not a big truffle fan but after seeing the interesting flavors they offered– I couldn’t resist. Seriously, the black coconut iced tea was the best tea I’ve ever had. The hint of sweetness + aromatic coconut scent. I can honestly drink this all day = the cure of my soda addiction. The truffles were a bit disappointing however. They tasted just like plain truffles — couldn’t taste any hint of green tea, grapefruit, or lime sesame. Chocolatey but I felt somewhat deceived. Will definitely be back for their amazing tea whenever I’m in the village!

Cute little neighborhood shop with an outsized reputation for chocolate, decadent drinks, and scrumptious pastries. The inside is rustic with a hint of hipster vibe, with a few tables to sit for a while, and the service is courteous and personal, as befitting a small shop. Can’t go wrong with just about anything here. Deliciousness all around!

Great cappuccino! I only added one pack of raw sugar and it was perfect with lots of foam on top. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the chocolates. Such a nice change from the mob scene at Starbucks and a bit of an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

There are so many things I love about Chocolate Bar: 1. Free wi-fi 2. Ridiculously delicious(if expensive) brownies 3. Mix and match box gifts(and options for ribbon!) 4. Friendly staff 5. Liquid chocolate with shots of espresso 6. Moustache chocolate-pops(though I don’t recommend the milk chocolate ones) 7. Spicy liquid chocolate(with or without shots of espresso) 8. It is two blocks from my apartment 9. They have a neon sign that says«Get some» in the window, which is so prominent that for a long time, I thought«Get Some» was the name of the business. ‘Nuf said.

In retrospect, maybe I should’ve gotten chocolate. Came here to grab a coffee and got a decaf espresso that… wasn’t very good. Yes, I get that I ordered decaf, but it felt like the espresso was missing altogether. Very watery. Also got a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. It was just ok, but not worth the price.
