After reading the other reviews, I decided to try this shoe repair shop. I had a pair of Steve Madden sandals with a broken elastic strap on the side, making it so that they would not hold your foot in place. I had first walked into a different repair shop on the Upper West side, only to find out that the closest elastic color they had was not going to match at all. My sandals were gold colored and they offered me a thick tan piece of elastic as a solution– no thank you.
When I came to Chris’ Shoe Repair, they showed me a gold piece of elastic right away that was a much better match. The gentleman who helped me was super nice, asking if I needed any other parts of the shoe fixed or reinforced.
When I picked my shoes up I was so pleased! For $ 10 they made my shoes brand new. The elastic is securely attached so that it won’t break again, probably much more secure than when I had first purchased the sandals. From looking at the sandals, you cannot tell that they had any parts replaced, because the elastic matched so well.
I wish that I had discovered this shop sooner and will be bringing any other shoes here if they need fixing.

Three years ago, I bought a pair of gorgeous alligator loafers from a Manolo Blahnik sample sale. Alas, they were just a smidge too small, and I couldn’t wear them without ruining my toes and feet. Thank GOODNESS I discovered CB’s! I dropped them off last week and picked them up this morning, officially a perfect fit. And you can’t beat the price.

I brought an old pair of Calvin Klein boots to Chris’s Shoe Repair. The last place I went to didn’t do a great job so I was hoping trying a different service would yield better results. It did. This place did an amazing job. The heel on the back of my boots was fixed and even the scratch at the tip of the toe was polished away. This guy knows his stuff. I’ll be going here for now on. Excellent work.

Excellent location, most spacious and CLEAN shoe repair shop I’ve ever seen. Much cheaper than other places and great quality work. $ 15 for my boot’s heel replacement. Same day service. Very professional. Only negative is they returned my boots dusty but I’m still definitely coming back.

One of my heel tips came off so I got it fixed here. It was only $ 5 and I was in and out of the store under 5 minutes.

This place is awesome! I needed some work done my MK bag that my boyfriend bought me nearly a year ago. I was worried about my bag being damaged so I spoke to him about it. He explained exactly what he was going to do to my bag and then he did while I was there. The pricing was really good too!

3 pairs of shoes fixed for less than $ 40? You’re out of your mind. He even shined my black leather shoes! I love this place. He’s a genius and I don’t have to throw them away now!

I took my favorite pair of 5-​yr-​old boots with a broken zipper to

& had the zipper replaced, one eyehole fixed, & heels repaired for $ 50. and was extremely happy with their quick and professional service.
They were also extremely nice to my 5-​yr-​old child.

2 pairs of shoes for a shine and heel repair + 1 suede booty covered in vomit = $ 40.
The 2 pairs of shoes looked BRAND NEW! I was so impressed. They also got all the vomit out! I never thought you’d be able to get vomit out of suede. They basically saved all 3 pairs of shoes that I had been planning on throwing out — mucho money saved!

Quick and cheap… just how I do not like my men.
I went to work and while I was walking down the hall I heard a very loud clacking noise and I realized it’s coming from me! OMG! My heels are broken! I can’t be walking around clack-​clacking! I don’t wanna be heard coming in for my sneak attack! *waa-​taa!*
So I run to get my shoe fixed… they fixed it in less than 10 minutes. For $ 10! And they were shined and looked brand new.

Really great. I took a really beat pair of oxfords there, and they asked if I wanted to wait for them. I said «no, I’m not in any hurry» they said «ok, one hour then» and handed me a tag.
I came back after doing some grocery shopping, and they were good as new.
New heels 10 bucks.
can’t beat that!

I’m never shining my own shoes again!
