Grew up eating this pizza, so I’m biased but oh well. I’ve eaten at many locations in the city and around the state but I still come back to Como’s. It’s all about the cheese pizza and Como’s amazing ratio of bread to cheese in a slice excels! It’s not too thin and it’s not too cheesy. Recommend if you are craving an authentic ny style cheese pizza.

This is the pizza I compare all other(new york style) pizza to, and I’ve had a lot of pizza in my lifetime. Very underrated. Killer price. Huge slices for 2.25. 3.25 for a slice and a soda. Used to order from here all the time as a kid. Went back yesterday after 6 years and it still tastes amazing. I thought I’d blown it up in my memory, but nope, still a cheesy, perfectly sauced, perfectly balanced crust-to-cheese ratio slice of heaven. I usually get the plain cheese slice, but they have a lot of toppings too so go all out if you want. It’s also a family owned, independent joint – the same guys have been working there for years so come here instead of the franchised Famiglias across the street and your taste buds will thank you.

I’d been craving an ideal slice of pizza for a while now. One with super gooey cheese and really strong crust. This was it, hands down. It almost met me absolute ideal.

It’s where I go in Washington Heights for my pizza… Honestly really not much to complain about. The customer service could be a little better. But you can’t beat the price and the pizza is good. Nice big slices, and within walking distance of the 168 train stop.

This is a quality slice of pizza in Washington Heights. It is cheap(I believe $ 2.25 a slice), delicious, and enormous. The service is quick and friendly. You can’t go wrong with this place.

The pizza here has never been bad. I have been known to overdose on the stuff. But when I do return it is always the same wonderful pizza. The service is stellar and family friendly. They get along well with the adult and kiddie set alike. The décor is non existent but is quite useful for dining in. It is all about the pizza but when I was pregnant they would make me the best chicken calzones in the world. On that note the calzones are great and I hear so are the meat patties on coconut bread. Overall best pizzeria from its centralized location for miles. Stop by some time I promise you will not regret it.

Great slice pizza. Cheap, huge, and delicious. If you are looking for health food, this is not the place. This is the best place for a slice I have found in the Heights.

Good, economical pizza option in Washington Heights — delivery is fast, although I admittedly live close by. I generally steer clear of toppings, which I found good but saltier than I was expecting, even given that I was getting pizza. Have been several times and will go again!

Had two slices last night, the Sicilian I thought was very good, and a real flaky crust, the regular slice was also good, prices are pretty good as well, much better than the other pizza place that’s close by.

It’s okay. There are better slices in the area. The price of course is such a great deal. Seems to be popular around lunch time!

So I haven’t ordered from here in at least four years, since waiting over an hour and a half for my calzone to be delivered. When it did finally arrive, cold and without red sauce, I called to complain and the woman who answered the phone had no sympathy whatsoever. Calzones take 45 min to bake, the red sauce only comes with it if I ask. So tonight I figure, what are the chances. Order a calzone with mushrooms & onions, extra mushrooms and please don’t forget the red sauce. The nice man who took my order assured me that it comes with red sauce, no worries! And will be ready in 20 min. I sit here now, eating my warm, extra onion calzone with no red sauce. I did see a couple of mushrooms in there. And I tried boiling the ancient marinara from the back of my fridge in the microwave but couldn’t bring myself to ingest it. C’mon guys it’s just not that complicated. Never again.

By far the best pizza in the area. While Famiglia and Koronet get the hype, this little whole in the wall gives you more and better for your money.

Does anyone care about garlic knots nowadays?! I know I do… HAHAHA! I have been to a couple of pizza shops in Washington Heights and Dyckman, and they never have any. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I need good garlic knots beside my slice :). The pizza, here, is good and the garlic knots are pretty big! I left really full and satisfied. One problem with this business is that they should serve people in the order that they come in… not by who their friends are. I was pretty disappointed when I ordered, and two men came in behind me and ordered AFTER me, but got their food first. How do I know they were friends? Because I overheard him ask the man how his wife was doing and so on…

Thick crust thick cheese, very limited delivery zones, I think there are officially no good pizzerias in my area so I cant suggest one.

Without fail Como Pizza is the best I’ve ever had! The pizzeria epitomizes why independent pizza shops will always beat out chain. Not only is the pizza fantastic, but the employees are incredible. Once I left my laptop in a booth and did not realize for a whole day. Frantic I traced back my steps and they had held it for me in the back of the shop. I will not eat my pizza anywhere else in the Heights(and we grad students are picky about pizza)!

Oh Como Pizza! Como Pizza has been around for years! I been going to Como Pizza since I could remember. Small pizza shop(six tables) with great pizza and great service. I love this place. Reminds me of my awesome childhood. To me it’s the best pizza in Washington Heights because I was raised with Como Pizza! If you’re anywhere in the Washington Heights area you must try Como. The décor has been the same since I could remember. I’m a loyal customer.

Roy’s Top 5 Things to Know: 1. Slices are $ 2.25 or two slices for $ 4. 2. This place has been around foreeeeeever, at least since I was a kid. 3. One of the best if not, the best sliced pizza places in Washington Heights. However the pizza has always been better dining in rather than getting delivery(which does take a while to receive). 4. The workers there are super hardworkers. Both men are always there without fail, that lady(I think she’s the owner) better appreciate those two because they hold that place down and have always been super nice to everyone. 5. There are about three or four booths to sit in if you want to dine in but no restrooms.
