City Eyebrow Threading

The eyelash extensions looked completely fake. I’ve paid less for a much better experience and more natural looking lashes. After paying $ 45 dollars I tried everything to get the lashes off and no luck. They tried charging me to remove the lashes but I didn’t wat to pay all that money for poor quality lashes. Here we are a month later and I still cant get the remainder of the lashes off but i’d rather not have to go back and pay. Dissapointed.

Just don’t don’t don’t. It’s getting two stars because the person who actually threaded my brow was fine, not the best at all but OK.
The cleanliness of the place is horrific. Smelled literally like urine. Maybe something happened that day and I caught it at the wrong time but I will not be returning, ever, even though I bought two eyebrow sessions.

I visited this shop based on the many positive reviews. I asked for Naz as many extolled the awesomeness of her eyebrow threading skills. I was VERY disappointed on how my eyebrows turned out, one brow is larger than another and there was no shaping done. Really wish I would have had a good experience, won’t be going back.

I was quite disappointed with the results from this place. It was empty when I walked by, but due to good ratings here I tried it. I had my brows threaded and my upper lip waxed. It was done by a slightly older lady, who was talking very quietly. So quietly, I had sometimes a hard time understanding her. At first in the salon I felt she did a great job, but after closer examination at home I saw that she missed quite a few stray hairs around my brows and my lip. The thing that really put me off from going there again was that I broke out all around my brows afterwards, which has never happened before.

And this is why I love New York City!!! I left one awful place where the staff was incredibly rude (Perfect Brown) only a few blocks west and walk to this amazing place where I was greeted with a smile and immediate care. Although the lady is not very good at doing henna at least they were kind. Her hands were shaking profusely and she messed up a lot. Their service is great and I’m sure they’re eyebrow services are awesome too. But not henna unfortunately for me. Worst Henna EVER!!!

There are no words for the expertise that Nazz has. She took one look at my eyebrows and told me how they were messed up and outlined a plan of action to get them back to their fabulousness. Go here now. you will not be sorry!

Naz is amazing! I’ve been growing my brows in for a while now after a botched job months ago. She cleaned my shape and left some room for growth! I will continue seeing her for a long time coming :) only go see her!

Came here while strolling around the west side and was v badly in need of a general facial hair clean up. I was seated and waited about 10 mins for Naaz to help me. Her handiwork was great (painless and soft to the touch unlike a lot of other people), so much so that I did not mind her asking me if I wanted to thread my chin area too. Usually I don’t but prices were reasonable enough: $ 7 for eyebrows, $ 5 for upper lip, $ 5 for the general bottom of the face area (chin, etc). Make sure you get the breakdown though because I suspect I missed it and overpaid by a couple dollars. Anyway, it’s difficult to find a decent threader even in the city so get it done here.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! The first few times I went here, a tall, slim woman did my brows and she was awesome! I was set for life! But then every time I stopped by, I seemed to come on her days off. I took the advice of other reviewers and tried Naaz for the first time and she’s amazing & super nice! Really thorough and virtually painless. My eyebrows are EXTREMELY important to me so I know how hard it is to find such a good place. Highly recommend!

Very disappointing. Came here after grabbing brunch in the area. It was empty but after noticing the 4.5 stars gave them a shot. The young lady thinned me out too much and although I have a few gaps in my eyebrows, not a neat job.

This was my first time coming to the salon and I had a positive experience! The sweet Indian woman who threaded my eyebrows and upper lip was very gentle and attentive. It didn’t hurt at all, and the shape was nice.

Do not try coming here if it’s busy — they will rush you and do a poor job. I came here last week and left with bleeding cuts by my eyebrows and a poor grooming.
Full story: I waked in and the shop had a couple girls in front of me. I was happy to wait — no big deal. Then, as the girl in front of me tries to leave, the woman who seems to be the owner reprimanded her and asked «Why are you leaving? It’s only 5 minutes, just 5 minutes. Come sit in the chair»
So the woman gets in the chair, and I’m still happily patiently waiting. Then another woman walks in and the owner greets her and says «Hello! Here, sit in the chair while you wait» while I was clearly next. I politely mentioned that I was here first and the owner defensively says «Oh yes yes, that’s fine you’re next. I only let her sit in the chair.» At this point, it’s very clear she’s trying to rush everyone and really about the quantity of patients, not quality.
I get in the chair and she immediately asks «upper lip? Upper lip too?» I politely declined and ask just for the eyebrows. She begins to thread my eyebrows, rather quickly and painfully (I get mine threaded often and it is not that painful) all the while as she reprimands me for not getting my eyebrows threaded sooner (it was only 2 weeks since my last one) and for not getting my upper lip done. She rushed me out so I paid and gave a generous tip and that was it.
The next day I look in the mirror and I find 1) cuts around my eyebrows from the poor threading jobs and 2) poor shape — she basically got rid of stray hairs but didn’t spend time perfecting the shape of the eyebrow.
Overall, there are SO many other great threading salons in the 5 mi radius. Go elsewhere and save yourself the hassling and pain.

This place is just amazing!
I came to Nazz with damaged eyebrows and a sad face and she made my eyebrows look amazing and natural. Highly recommended! Super professional and fast!

I am very selective as to who does my eyebrows because certain threading shops tend to rush the process therefore taking off way more than asked. Today made I mark of six months worth of growth of my eyebrows so I decided to give this place a try, since I seen so many great reviews. I am very happy with the results I loved how she listened & took her time. The prices are so great here that I even got a underarm wax well. I will definitely be coming back for sure.

Finally found the best place in the city where to get my eyebrows done! Perfect combination of and high service and a very good price! Can’t wait my eyebrows to grow to go there again :)

This place is absolutely amazing, they reshaped my eyebrows to frame my face perfectly. I also come here to have my brazilian waxing done & this place is super clean, professional & most importantly — they don’t double dip!!!

I’ve been going here regularly for two months. I’m pretty impressed with their threading, customer service, speed of service and pricing.
Overall, I’m really never going anywhere else for eyebrow threading if at all possible. I will always go here. They are amazing.
Plus, it often smells like chai!

I got my eyebrows done by Hafe, she was very precise and took her time. She was also extremely friendly. The place was really clean and the price was cheap — only $ 7 for a threading!
I will definitely return next time that I am in the area.

I’ve come in this place a number of times and referred a bunch of people here as well. It doesn’t hurt that it’s extremely close to my office, but what’s better is that they are effective and quick.
I’ve had both threading and wax services for my face and nether regions. They are knowledgeable and provide great service. They have a frequent user card so be sure to get one because you will be back. They have different cards for different services.
You do not need an appointment and can walk in. They are usually empty during lunch time so that is a great time to sneak in and out. It’s not an upscale place or anything but they were very effective and thorough.
Brazilian/​bikini wax can range from $ 30-​$ 55
Eyebrow Threading starts at $ 7
Cant beat those prices for the service.
