Here’s the thing. I’m not going to carry my laundry any further than I have to because I already live in a 5th floor walk up, and my wife and I generally wait until nearly everything we own is dirty before going to the laundromat and thus it’s a heavy load. Besides, I never claimed I was a strong man. So basically I’ll still go here even though I’m wholeheartedly unimpressed. Basically it comes down to the lack of costumer service. The main lady who works here always seems put out every time I drop off the clothes. And then when we get them back, their generally pretty wrinkled and ill-folded. So for now I’m sticking with them. But if I start working out more, I’m headed for higher ground, you better believe it.

Update 5÷13÷08: Agreed. Service downhill in the last few months. I had no idea they even changed name/management. But very unimpressed and seeking a new drop & fold. My bills have gotten progressively higher, don’t know what to attribute that to. They won’t let me schedule a time in advance anymore, I used to call 6pm on Monday and say«Hi please pick up my laundry at 8:00am Tuesday» and it was basically a wakeup call when they showed up. You have to call day of, and then it can be up to an hour wait. – I’ve never been here, but I’ve used their laundry delivery service for a year and I’ve never had a problem. You call, the lady comes and picks up your laundry in a cart, and 24 hours later it’s done and neatly folded. I hate. doing. laundry. and folding it. They’ve been a lifesaver. They charge by the pound, it’s probably 2 – 3 times more expensive but it’s absolutely worth it. I usually do pickup and deliveries 8am-ish before work, they are very reliable on time accuracy on weekdays, not so much on weekends.

This is my local dry cleaners & laundromat. They’ve got big commercial washers and dryers that look like they’d be fun to get inside of and go for a ride. They’ve got free pick up & delivery but I’ve always dropped mine off. If you want to wash the clothes yourself it’s $ 3 to wash & a quarter for 8 minutes of dryer time and it’s generally not too crowded. +Extra star for having lots of big plants. UPDATE: 4÷21÷2008 Since new management(R&C Laundry) took over this place has really gone downhill. There are heaps of laundry everywhere in the small space and they shattered the buttons on my shirts while dry cleaning. The plants are gone. It’s also become much more busy and overcrowded. I’m keeping my new laundry spot a secret.
