First boba experience on this NY trip and somewhat disappointed. We got 3 drinks, passion fruit green tea, regular milk tea and the green tea yakult. The passion fruit green tea was pretty good, probably my favorite. It was very refreshing and had a strong passion fruit flavor. The regular milk tea was a bit too milky for me and just didn’t have a strong enough tea flavor. The green tea yakult was interesting. It tasted like yakult but again, the tea flavor was very weak. I’m not sure if this is just how tea places are in NY but it was pretty meh. I wouldn’t care to go back.

I love this CoCo so much solely because of its location. This place has saved me from snacking and given me a boost of caffeine throughout some long days. Another big plus is that there is no credit card min spend limit here like the CoCo in midtown, so I can always swipe my card for just one bubble tea. I also personally like this better than the nearby Vivi, maybe all the pink there hurts my eye or something… and plus, they close a lot earlier than CoCo I believe.

Worst bubble tea I have, I ordered a taro milk tea and I asked for no sugar, but the taro was very sweat just like drinking brown sugar. What a scam!

Tea quality is like a 5⁄10. Not bad for 4 dollar diabetes. Might come back for more. Nice décor I like it a lot, but the drinks not really

I like the boba here more than vivi. I tried the jasmin milk tea light boba. Delicious. Sweet but not too much and the jasmine was great. For a medium with boba it was $ 4 I’m not sure if they have a reward system because they didn’t offer me anything but I’ll definitely be back here again

I’ve been dying for some good bubble tea in the area ever since I started working down in Wall St. A coworker came into the office with Coco bubble tea and I instantly craved it. I’m not good with street names, but I finally found this spot today, and may I say, this is the best bubble tea I have ever drank in my 26 years on earth. This is a 5-star rating for the regular milk tea as I am not a fan of the other flavors. The tea is neither bitter nor too sweet for my taste buds. The tapioca was at the right consistency and had the right amount of sweetness. And the great thing about it is the price. It’s just so tasty AND cheap. I’ve tried many bubble teas out there, but I hugely recommend all of you to try Coco. The only thing I’d change is the opening hours. 10AM is too late! I crave for it in the morning around 9AM. Guess I’ll just have to wait until noon during my lunch to get it.

Amazing bubble tea that has tapioca that is soft and bubbly. Best bubble tea in NY. There is 100% no comparison. I love the mango smoothies and the service is beautiful. Coco is my favorite place to go after school! Do NOT miss out! This is a must come place for all New Yorkers with excellent everything!

Store is very clean and I never have to wait to order my drink. The jasmine milk tea at Coco’s is THEBOMBDOTCOM. I love their sago because its really sweet and chewy. Workers are always very cheery too.

I will always sing the praises of CoCo, even though I’m admittedly blinded by nostalgia for CoCo’s motherland, China. I first met CoCo in Chengdu as I was departing for a mid-Autumm festival retreat. I don’t know if it was the collective strength of the full moon and the bean curd inside the moon cakes, the days off work, or the loyalty card(gotta catch em all, stamps), but whatever it was, they got me for life. Luckily there wasn’t a branch too close to my apartment in China, because who knows what that would’ve done to all sorts of versions of my health. Anyway, the loyalty card symbolically lasted years and miles in between because as soon as I learned there was a branch in NYC, I made a beeline from Grand Central to CoCo. That first sip was a flood of memories and well done milk tea. While I have my place in OKC, there’s something about CoCo that makes it all the more better. This time around I may or may not have had it 3 times in a 6 day visit, whoops. They got me good again because on Chinese New Year, the Chinatown branch gave me my first red envelope filled with money! Hotdog! Or should I say hotmonkey! I think it’s a sign from the milk tea gods that the year of the monkey is meant to be. The tapioca pearls of heaven exist in a cup from CoCo.

My favorite cheat meal :). The bubble tea is the best but this location is definitely understaffed. They have one person there on certain days so they line may be out the door. Not good when you re in a rush. I love how you can order half sugar and light on the bubbles. It definitely tastes just as good! I ve only had the regular bubble tea and I am going to stick with it because I absolutely love it.

My favorite bubble tea place. Vivi is too weak, Kung Fu too rich, CoCo right at that sweet spot. Get grass jelly and/or pudding if you’ve never tried it. it’ll change your life You CAN customize the sugar level, — 0%, 30%, 50% — so no need to complain about it being too sweet The most inferior CoCo for sure — workers are not that friendly and sometimes skimp on the add-ins(Baruch/Midtown East locations are much friendlier, more consistent) — but this location does the job!

Ran there to get bubble tea on a Sunday night. They’re advertised to close at 9pm on Sundays. I really rushed there to make it in time and arrived at 8.45. They had already closed down. I knocked on the door and insisted that it was not 9 yet, they said they didn’t care and wouldn’t serve me. I will never go there again.

One of the worst bubble milk tea’s that I’ve had in New York. The drink was way too sweet and it wasn’t possible to customize the level of sweetness or ice. Gongcha is my favorite so far in New York, but if you’re really desperate for an immediate fix in the neighborhood, head over to ViVi.

Stumbled upon here and just couldn’t resist. I love bubble tea. First time I tried the vanilla milk tea. It was so good! Just the perfect flavor for me, not too sweet but still can taste the vanilla. It is always a plus when the bubbles are made good. It was soft and chewy, just the right make of tasty balls.

A big fan. This is just steps from the Fulton Street subway station, so it’s easy to grab a quick drink for the commute home from work. I’ve noticed a lot of places charge about 50 cents extra for bubbles, here you can get a regular iced bubble milk tea for just $ 3. I drank a lot of their hot taro milk tea in the winter, it’s also super delicious. Sometimes the line gets a little out of control, but the wait time is never too bad overall.

SOMUCHSUGAR. Why. Even the bubbles themselves are super sugary. I ordered plain iced tea and it was pretty sweet from mixing with the boba, and my boyfriend ordered his milk tea with half sugar and it was still overly sweet. Can’t even imagine how sweet the normal drink is. The drinks didn’t come out pretty fast considering it was kinda busy which is a plus.

I ordered the following: Pudding Milk tea– It was very sweet. You should definitely mix the drink before sipping it. I almost finished the entire drink before I noticed that the big pudding chunk in the cup. I enjoyed eating the pudding, but I’m not sure it works well as a sippable topping for a bubble tea drink. Service was quick and I’ll probably visit again for a refreshing drink.

Taiwanese Bubble tea comes to the Financial District where staff are the youth and mostly students. Seats are minimal but clean. I specifically order one medium Mango Green Tea $ 3.75WITHOUT black Tapioca pearls. The cashier was obvious with her poor listening skills or she has English language deficiency problem as she turned around preparing my order and I watched her put black Tapioca pearls into my cup! I loudly projected«I did NOT want black Tapioca pearls!» and she pass off a blatant excuse«that was for someone else» when there were only two customers in the whole store. I refused to pay for the black Tapioca pearls when I specifically did not request it. Poor communication skills. Behavior breeds behavior.

Coco has the best bubble tea, and IMO this is the best CoCo in the city(ok maybe a tie with the Grand Central location). Interior is clean and bright. Never have to wait for long. Best of all, staff is super patient, courteous, and efficient. My favorite drink is the mango yakult — a bit pricey but very yummy and refreshing. Sugar level is adjustable. You can also pick your own toppings(I love the coconut jelly). Other delicious drinks include: Green tea macchiato(with fresh whip cream topping), green tea yakult, passionfruit green tea — these are so good that I never got a chance to explore the rest of the menu! Staff also gives great recommendations if you’re really not sure what to get. Apparently CoCo is the largest bubble tea chain in Taiwan and has over 1000 branches in Asia — not hard to see why!

I was so happy that they had a location so close to my hotel and that they opened at 10AM! FIrst thing the next morning I arrived at the door 10AM on the dot and while the boba wasn’t immediatly ready I only had to wait an additional 5 minutes for it to finish cooking. Teas are freshly shaken and boba has a nice chewy texture. I haven’t had this bubble tea since last time I was in Taiwan and it taste just the same, I wish they would make a location in Dallas!
