Unfortunately, despite being more spacious, this location is nowhere near as fun as the more secret, tucked-away location on the UES. Same selection, less Willy Wonka vibe.

I expected to find sheep grazing on pasture here, females brought in by the fairy tale hype, but instead it was two teenage boys. Extremely unimpressed with everything about the store, I bounced quickly; what a waste of a storefront, just like the UES one.

My favorite candy shop in NYC, despite its small size and little variety. This place is really creative in décor with really fun staff. The dark carnival theme is definitely more mature and they offer interesting party paraphernalia as well. The techno bears and clothoppers are almost exclusive to Curious, both of which are very good. Love it. And its not that expensive either!

I love Cynthia Rowley, and was sort of expecting Curious Candy to fall in the footsteps of Dylan Lauren’s candy store, but this was a bit lackluster. It is a cute little boutique of a candy shop located on Bleeker. The location is everything! I probably wouldn’t have ventured in if it weren’t on Bleeker. There was no real organization to the place, it just seemed to have candies and gift items around everywhere. They had a decent selection but again, it just didn’t seem all together in a way that was visually appealing, which is a shocker since it is Cynthia Rowley we are talking about. I’m hoping I was there on a bad/off day. I would be willing to try another visit if in the area again.
