If I could give zero stars I would! This place is overpriced and can do that b/c they are right in the middle of condo /co-ops and figure they can charge whatever they want. I came here to just compare the usual deli i go to which is a block away(Best of West Deli — right on 34th and 9th ave), and for what I ordered here at David’s Tenth — I could’ve paid less and received more items for the same price at Best of West Deli. I was charged $ 4.00 for an egg white omlette — no potatoes and no toast. However if you had purchased a sandwhich with bacon and egg, it comes out to the same price. Huh? Does that make any sense or am I dealing with a greedy store owner who take an advantage of having a business in Manhattan?! Do not come here unless you liked being overcharged for your breakfast and if you want to start your day off crappy and in a bad mood — this place will do it for you. Remember it’s NYC, you’re not bound to just one deli, there are tons in Hell’s Kitchen. DO yourself a favor, pass this overpriced place over, you’ll be happy you did.

Walking to the Convention Center one morning, my friend and I passed by this deli. We popped inside to grab some breakfast. The place was cozy but comforting. You can grab all sorts of things you might need. It is a little grocery store & deli. Looked like a good place to get a sandwich. We ordered eggs sausage on a roll. This breakfast sandwich was mighty tasty! It was a decent sized sandwich too. They cook it right then and there so it’s nice and warm when you get it! I can’t remember exactly how much we paid but it was pretty cheap. I remember walking down the street eating it and passing a McDonald’s thinking this is much bigger than a sausage mcmuffin and so much tastier… and I think the same price, if not cheaper! The service was very friendly as well, especially the cooks! :)

Yummilicious. Helen F. and I had a great breakfast to-go from this place. The service was fairly friendly and the eggs were cooked just right with a yummy sausage on this soft roll. It was roughly $ 3+ for our sandwich each. I also grabbed a huge bottle of water for the rest of the day. Really great place to stop for a breakfast sandwich. We have looked and haven’t found one that we like as much as this little place.
