What a LOVELY place!
The staff is beyond kind and Dr. Davis is fantastic. He takes his time and is incredibly helpful.
I feel like you could easily find this shop in a small, wonderful town — but alas, it’s smack dab in the middle of Manhattan.
The best eye doctor I’ve been to in years, hands down. 100% recommended.

I have been using Davis Optical for at least 10 years. They treat customers like they are royalty. I had some problems with my eyes on my last visit and they worked with me for over a month — making changes and returning until everything was 100%. They are terrific.

Love this place! Walk in and walk out with what YOU NEEED not what they are trying to sell you. It’s no wonder this place has been in business for 50 years. No attitude, no pitches to up sell, only professionalism. Had my glasses and contacts in 2 days! Been a customer for 10+ years. I would never go anywhere else.

I’ve been getting my glasses here since I started wearing glasses. Everything here is wonderful, efficient and clean. The only problem (and it’s a big problem) that I have with the store is the terrible glasses sales associate. This man has awful attitude and will purposefully make you feel ignorant and unfashionable. I had to leave the store last time because his attitude was just too much to handle. In my opinion, you should ask for a different sales associate if there are any others in the store. After talking to him for two minutes, you will know what I mean. If there is any sales associate there that is not this man, they will be excellent and friendly.

I called in the morning and got an appointment for the afternoon. Dr. Frank was attentive and such a nice guy. Really cares about his patients. Staff was friendly. Greeted me, answered questions. They did not pressure me to buy anything I didn’t need. They explained insurance to me (glasses vs. contacts) and gave me best option. LOTS of frames to choose from. If you are looking for designer frames def a good place to look. Strongly recommend Davis. A++ service. Thank you!

I have been getting glasses here for a number of years. When I finally got progressive lenses I was a little concerned but they did a great job. I walked out of the store and within 5 minutes I was used to them. Dr. Frank is smart and attentive. He is excellent at determining the right prescription. When I have stopped in to get the frames adjusted, the staff was attentive and there was no charge. The staff is very accommodating. They accept numerous insurance plans and have a wide variety of options and price ranges.
