The ladies at reception are incredibly rude (eye-​rolling, etc.) and not helpful. The doctors are a bit dismissive, but seem very competent.

Dr. Polan is thoughtful, patient, and smart with a good, calm bedside manner. Her office is not. Expect receptionists and assistants/​med techs to communicate about half the info you need and treat questions as an insult. Not cool.

I had an appointment this morning for my annual exam — always a frightening experience for me. My doctor, Dr. Mary Polan, was amazing. She put me right at ease and was completely professional. Highly highly recommended.
I’m new to NY so I didn’t have a clue where to go for my annual, and found her through my insurance website (Oxford Freedom plan). I was able to get an appointment for the following week after I called. If you don’t know where to go — call her!
