Avoid coming here for photos because they don’t have an actual photo technician. Walk to the Duane Reade on Broadway and 50th. Service is hit or miss here depending on which employees you encounter.

It’s a nice store has a lot of good stuff but some employees pick and choose who they want to talk to just because I don’t look like I live in Manhattan that doesn’t mean my money isn’t the same I went in there today the girl didn’t even say next or guest then when I was done she didn’t even say thank you didn’t even say your welcome I don’t understand don’t pick and choose when you want to talk to cuz everybody’s money is the same whether you’re white, black, Spanish, Chinese, Asian, I feel really uncomfortable when I walk in there and I’m going to take this to the next step like I said it’s a nice store its clean it has what you need but you need to train your employees a little better. Expressly train the younger employees they have no concept of what working for a company especially Duane Reade and at night time you can never find a manager when you tell the manager in one ear and out the other they need training to. Once again I’m going to leave you on this note I might not look like Wall Street but I work just as hard as them.

This is a pretty clean DR and the checkout line moved fast but they didn’t have any skim milk. And I really wanted some skim milk. Look at me, do you think I can keep this figure drinking 2%??? The layout of the store is long and narrow so finding things can be a bit odd. Since I don’t want to ding them solely on the basis of their milk selection, I’ll give them three stars. But if you want a better selection, go to the one on Broadway and 52nd.

Like other Duane Reade stores in the area, prices leave something to be desired. They also don’t have false eyelashes for redheads, a big pain in my butt yesterday when I had to get some for a fashion show. However, they do have underwear, hosiery & socks here if you find yourself in an emergency situation and need some. Plus this Duane Reade is spacious enough to where you can kill time browsing here. Conveniently located near The Lambs Club & Radio City Music Hall.

This particular DR is huge and pretty organized. The lines are quick(there is a shake shack near by) and they have a «Chase ATM» if you need. Saw some pretty good deals on make-up here(I needed blush) so it’s a good stop if you want something quick.

Duane Reade is a Duane Reade is a Duane Reade. Except for the one on Wall Street, because that one is AWESOME. This Duane Reade has all of the usual Duane Reade-y products organized in a coherent way. It’s not the biggest, nor is it the smallest Duane Reade around. However, the lines are long here, and the employees are generally not friendly. So if you care to, walk twenty paces in any direction and you will encounter another Duane Reade.

Duane Reade has ugly signage. A typical DR store will have multiple huge logos on every side. Plus huge signs you can see for blocks. Their ugly logo & graphics make each store an eyesore. Otherwise, their service is pretty good. Selection is as expected. Pharmacy prices are on the high side. And rewards program gets worse and worse.

It seems weird to rate a drugstore, but the folks here are generally pretty helpful when I stroll in at 2am after a shift in the kitchen. I thought I’d give them a shout-out. Plus, unlike the Duane Reade on the opposite side of Rockefeller Center, when these guys say«Open 24 Hours» — they mean it.

Duane Reade is part of the Walgreen family of companies. It’s setup like a typical drugstore that houses a pharmacy, cosmetic, perishables, and different miscellaneous items. This particular store is located near Time’s Square and is very well maintained. The aisles are well organized and clean, the displays are nicely laid out, and the store is well lit. Pricing in the store seemed moderate, and they also offer a Flex card for discounted and reward purchasing.
