No way, not only was the place dirty & the customer service sub par but if you care anything about the care of your natural nails, this is not the place for you. If you just want nail art on glued on tips, go for it.

I had a bad experience here. I decided to give it a shot(even though every surface in the salon has a layer of caked-on dirt) because they got good Unilocal reviews for nail art. I asked for a gel mani with a design and showed the manicurist an example of what I wanted. I don’t think it was that complicated — just some little black triangles. It came out a MESS — I’m posting a photo of what I asked for and what I received so you can see just what a disaster this was. The manicure itself was also bad — my fingers were totally dried out looking and the polish is unevenly applied. Even worse, the woman got a hair on my nail(after she wiped the brush on her apron — why?) and when I pointed it out she just painted over it! The manicurist was very nice but I seriously could have painted my own nails and it would have looked better and taken less time. I peeled the gels off as soon as I got home(I couldn’t wait around for Ding Ya to fix them and didn’t trust that they would do a good job anyway). I will not be going to this place again.

I may change my rating the more I go. A friend of mines attends this salon and recommended I come with her to get my nails done before a nyc winter storm. Salon: small but clean. 4 – 5 pedi chairs. And plenty of nail spots. Cute wall designs and a lot of shelves with various nail colors and brands to chose from. Location: conveniently located off the A/C train to Nostrand. And a few blocks down towards Atlantic. Also off the LIRR line at Nostrand. Staff: nice and professional. Knowledgeable about the latest nail art trends. I’ve tried a few salons with this infinity heart design and it was very difficult to do. I asked the tech if she wanted to try on paper first. And she told me if she tries it on my nails and it doesn’t come out right, then she can’t do it. I respected that statement. Know your limitations and don’t try it then get an attitude when the nail has to be done over. I’ve gotten this from other salons. Or they try to encourage me to keep it. Uh hello. Hell no. But ICee nailed it! Pun intended. I also like that they do a dry mani with acrylic and gel sets. Treat my nails and nail bed. It’s not enough to just do the basics. I will definitely try them again.

Great selection of colors and pretty clean. BEst place I’ve found in the area. It’s difficult to find a place that does almond nails well and this places does them fairly well. I think I found my new neighborhood nail spot.
