I came to get my brothers pain prescription filled while he was in minor surgery. I waited for close to an hour for an prescription sent electronically. I was told that they were a little hectic because they were doing flu shots. I would think they would have separate employees involved. They had a clearance section right by the pharmacy and I wound up spending a lot of money to keep me sane while waiting for the Rx. Meanwhile, employees were still running around asking me if I wanted a flu shot. I will definitely get my prescription sent elsewhere next time.

Strange experience… I expected medicine but this shop has more sweets and stuff than medicines. What put me off is the shop is dirty and the staff unfriendly. The queue to pay is also endless…

Store #14127. This Duane Reade does not have a stationery department where I seek double-sided tape for my craft needs. Big disappointment as they also don’t have a trouser sock selection. There is freshly pre-packaged prepared foods of sandwiches, and fruits. The pharmacy department is on the second floor and vitamins is dangerously located on a thin narrow platform near the open stairway.

Nothnig special. Confusing lay-out. Once the cashier over charged me and I had to bring back my items for correction. It’s close to work and convenient, that’s the only plus.

I get my drugs here, pharmacy line is decent. Sometimes they seem confused though. Recently revamped the store. They now have lunch items which actually seem fresh and might worthy a venture at some point. A nice, clean feel to the store after the renovation. Much better than it used to be.
