The staff is nice and the dumplings are tasty. However, only 2 stars for the quality. I watched them prepare my order they opened up a freezer filled with bags of pre-packaged dumplings you can buy at any asian grocery store. Not cool. Since they only sell dumplings — I would have thought they made their own. But I guess it’s just another corporate chain gang. Also — their«organic» dumplings are horribly over-priced.

On a warm fall evening, had a hankering for a small filling to-go meal for a walk on the High Line. This unassuming place shone out and looked like exactly what we needed. Shared a Mixed Vegetable Traditional Meal($ 10) — 6 veggie steamed dumplings, a veggie bao, and a lemon oolong tea. Didn’t take too long for the items to come out which was good. Once we got up around the highline, realized they didn’t provide any napkins or hot sauce in the bag… bad. Dumplings and bao are filling, though a little bland(really needed that hot sauce). Oolong tea was sweet and really cold, making it a bit rough to carry(really needed those napkins). Three stars is about right for this spot. Okay food at a cheap price for the area. Love the options that they provide, so will come again for meat dumplings this time.

I ordered 8 piece veggie dumplings for $ 6, and they were pretty good, a step up from the type of gyoza you’d get at a sushi restaurant, but honestly pretty much the same as my favorite frozen ones I heat up myself. They only offer two sauces, black vinegar and soy. Not that this is a bad thing! I myself prefer something sweeter like a dumpling sauce.

We tried this place out last night. We went at about 8:30pm and both got the sampler platter and a bubble tea. They were surprisingly out of rice so subbed in an extra bao. They also had a sign up stating only fried dumplings were available, not steamed. There was nothing redeeming about this meal at all. The bubble tea was not cold or flavorful, the dumplings were not hot, and their sauce choices of soy, mustard or vinegar did little to improve the taste of the baos. We could have gotten a better meal from the D’Agostino freezer section…

This was alright. Got the veggie dumplings and veggie bao. The whole place was empty when I came in, and it took them 7 mins to fulfill the order. The dumplings weren’t bad, but I felt like I’ve had better from frozen dumpling packs I’ve made in less time. The bao was very empty inside. Maybe a smear of veggies. I’d come here again if I were absolutely hungry for dumplings but certainly would rather pick up a bag of frozen dumplings from Mrs. Greens or Chinatown even, and make them myself.

Great dumplings and amazing service. The lady at the cashier was very sweet and gave us a large tea instead of the medium we ordered, along with a big smile. Thank you :)

We tried the dumpling which were good. The BAO which we were excited to try were ok. One was bit large and, soggy on bottom but tasted good just wish that Bao and the smaller 2nd Bao had more meat. All in all it was good and will definitely try again. They just opened so I am sure the BAO will get more meat in the future.

Food was good, dumplings were delish… unfortunately I had to hear the manager and an employee argue during my meal. Unprofessional and rude. While I was ordering my food there was a heated discussion in the kitchen, I asked the cashier why the manager isn’t taking care of this, the cashier stated the manager was the one arguing! The manager then proceeded to take the argument out of the kitchen to the dining area… Although, it was inappropriate, I suppose I had my entertainment for the day.

Any place that serves up dumplings with a squeeze bottle of black vinegar is my kind of place… move over Red Farm with all your pretentious BS.

Cheap good food in the West Village is pretty much impossible to find. I just found it. Staff was really nice too. Lots of people hating on this place made me want to report that I had a good meal for 13 bucks(9.99 sampler plate and a flavored Oolong). Rock on Go Dumpling– rock on with your fried self.

This place just opened up right by our house and we were excited to try. I wasn’t disappointed. I liked he dumplings better than the bao. And wasn’t totally full with the meal. The staff was nice and place is clean. It’s not as cheap as a Chinatown dumpling but you can’t expect that with west village rent.

Dump it. I was passing by when I noticed a new opening of the restaurant and thought I would check it out and give it a try. The service was slow and awkward. I brought the veggie dumplings & took them home to eat. Terrible! I didn’t bother to eat them as they were not worth digesting such cheap food nor were they worth spending any of my calories. It was no pleasure in this eating experience at all. The veggie dumplings had no taste what so ever. They tasted like really bad Chinese fast food you would find at some remote place that catered to generic taste buds. I saw their foods were all out of bags from the freezer. Really? Nothing authentic about this place, Do your self a favor and head downtown to Chinatown and get the real deal. Don’t bother to waste your $

I have been excited about this place opening since I first saw the construction work begin a few months ago. They finally had their grand opening tonight, and offered 50% off everything to celebrate. I excitedly went in ready to stuff my face with dumplings for dinner. However, my excitement ended there. As soon as the cook opened the freezers, it was clear to see the dumplings used were the same ones you can buy from the frozen food section of any supermarket. The taste was about as bland as you could expect, and in a neighborhood with so many amazing food spots, an over priced dumpling place that serves store bought frozen food just isn;t going to cut it. I really hope this place gets it’s act together, but until they start making their food fresh, I don’t see any reason to ever go back.
