I used to go here 3x/​week, each visit would purchase a box of 25 munchkins. Recently the chocolate glazed donuts and munchkins have been tasting like they have a strawberry glaze. I let the staff know and the guy said «sometimes that happens bc we make them from the same machine», the cashier replied, «no. They don’t taste like strawberry». As she shook her head, I told her that she and her staff should try them (apparently no one has been doing taste tests). I know this is silly but in a franchise as big as DD consistency should be a given. Hopefully they at least try them bc I’d like to continue coming here.

Great staff. The best one by far that I’ve been to. Everyone is so nice, friendly, polite and very professional. You can expect excellent customer service here, day or night. Always clean. Great guys. No disgruntled workers at this location.

I’m a fast-​food-​franchise kick right now (generally not the case, haha). Let’s just say I HAD to go given that we don’t have these on the west coast… I don’t have much to say other than it tasted as it always has — a fair donut at a fair price… and it was open late as my friend and I had left dinner… so a quickly served dessert was necessary on our «to do» list.

So sad that this is so close to my train station yet even the convenience won’t persuade me to go back there. Rude & stupid staff make ordering a simple small coffee with milk into an adventure. Most drinks will be light and sweet no matter what you actually order. Oh yes, and the surly zombie behind the counter actually insists on receiving a penny when your order is $ 3.01, no kidding, every time. The space is frequently dirty, too, and always smells like they’re burning someone’s bagel. Do yourself a favor and go to the coffee truck or the no name coffee cart.

2004 was my DD year — at least 5 trips a week for most of the year while I lived in Boston. Then I spent a few years in Brooklyn, no DD there. Then on the west coast, no DD there.
Unfortunately this DD is feels scummy. I don’t really get this characteristic of the west village, but there are little pockets of filth in various places, and this corner is one of them.

I used to go here for coffee in the mornings, but the lady behind the register is seriously one of the unhappiest women you’ll meet. She should be kept in the back working their huge metal toaster/​microwave that they make their breakfast sandwiches in, and away from other people. During one typically wordless transaction, she scowled, didn’t respond with words to anything I said, was so bored and lethargic she dropped my credit card, looked put out when I asked her for napkins since the napkin dispensers were out, and then tossed a single napkin in my direction. So now I go to the Dunkin Donuts on West 3rd.

All the East Coast transplants on the West Coast brag about Dunkin Donuts (since we don’t have them out here), but it’s seriously the most overrated place of all time. I humor my husband when we’re in New York and let him go apeshit visiting Dunkin Donuts. This location was pretty average. I think we had to clean our own table.

i gained 5 pounds here during my stay in NYC. it was totally worth it.
D n’ D, god how i have missed you… but you know what? looking upon it unemotionally and with vast barrels of sugarfree logic, our separation is a fruitful one, as i would definitely be obese and suffering from diabetes 2 while annoying most of the world on a hardcore sugar/​caffeine high if we were still together.
but you know i will always love you, and i admit that it was like heaven to taste your evil sweetness on my lips once more…
