I used to like this DD location but lately I’m not enamored with them anymore overall. Their regular hot coffee is barely ok, but it’s like drinking hot brown water. Weak. Same goes with their iced coffee. Cold brown water. I hate to say it but Starbucks is way better now. This spot is the size of a phone booth. Good luck if you’re in a rush and there is a bit of a line in front of you. Service is ok but can be slow at times. I guess it’s ok if you’re walking by and want a donut or two. Pretty much the same menu as offered by this chain. Better off going to grab a better cup of joe at one of the many competitors nearby.

Ok … This Dunkin Donuts is completely disorganized. They get very overwhelmed by the smallest of lines. If you are lucky enough to be the only person in the place, service will be quick enough — but have a line of 3 or more and you might as well forget about it and go somewhere else.

My new go-to place in the morning! Sure, I still stop in at their competitor’s once in a while, but if I’m in a big hurry, this is the place to be! Not only are they soooo much cheaper, but their staff can definitely move. There have been a few times when I got there and the line was out the door. As in you think they’re giving stuff away because someone is propping the door open. But no, even with that many customers on line, the most I have had to wait was 5 minutes, and only because I ordered a breakfast sandwich or something. I guess part of it is because one of the ladies in the morning has a great memory, and usually has the regulars’ orders started before they even get to the front of the line to order. Another is most likely because their menu items are pretty straight forward, and they don’t have too many guests that ask for modifications. But the real reason might be because the staff does not spend a lot of time chitchatting with one another; instead, they are focused, and have a true understanding that guests have to be in and out. And since I am almost always running late, that’s huge. The deal breaker is the morning shift manager. I’m sure you have see her, if not felt the dirty looks she’s thrown your way. How she wound up in a customer service-oriented position is beyond me, but she needs to re-evaluate her career choice. This woman seriously HATES her job, and everything that goes with it. She’s rude, and thinks that customers are beneath her. I miss the guy with the glasses that worked there. Such a shame that he’s gone. If you’re a regular at any DD, make sure you sign up for their rewards program, which awards you with a free medium beverage with every 200 points. It may seem like it would take forever, but I earn one at least once a week, sometimes more. If you have a smartphone, make sure to download their app, if you sign up for the rewards, as they also have several in-app promos.

this was a terrible DD. was national donut day and when I asked for a free donut, the clerk made a face and grudgingly gave it to me while making a big deal out of it. as if she was doing me a huge favor. also, this DD is pricier than other ones. a whole 50c more for a small iced coffee than the one on 97th that I usually go to! oh and they messed up my iced coffee. when I def asked for milk and sugar.

Dunks is a dunks. There are times that you’ll wait for a while since it’s so small, but it’s anything you really need for a dunks.

Great Service, these guys know how to handle the rush with a smile and friendly service. They remember my order and even make a fresh pot of coffee if necessary.

This has to be the tiniest DnD in NYC. The service is okay but if you turn around you are outside.

Dunkin Donuts used to stand for something great. The quintessential American working man’s breakfast– fried dough and thick-as-motor-oil coffee. Mmm. The thought of it makes me feel patriotic. However. Somewhere along the way, they lost me. I used to love the donuts, especially the blueberry cake ones. Now they are a syrupy, spongy, oversugared mess. They’ve reduced the variety, and with the national revamp of all the franchises, the quaint bakery store feel of the old Dunkin Donuts has been replaced with the design aesthetics of a retarded circus. Not to mention the new found mafia-like strong-arm tactics of DD Corporate. They sue their franchisees over debt refinancing more times than I’ve gotten cramps from their glazed Munchkins. And the coffee is gross. It has been sucking for a long time now. It’s a low quality bean that brews weak and thin and tastes faintly of crap with a hint of an overrated reputation. I’d rather drink starbucks while being forced to listen to a Norah Jones compilation. New Yorkers’ infatuation with fast, cheap, terrible coffee aside, I’m boggled by the sheer number of people holding DD cups nowadays. Give me Shipley’s. Give me Tim Horton’s. Give me Krispy Kr– well, actually, not that one. Give me one of the many mom-n-pop donut places that are around yet in Manhattan are outnumbered a hundred to one by Dunkin effin Donuts!
