I absolutely love this place. It’s a little hallway-style store sandwiched between the Eli’s grocery store and the Eli’s restaurant. Inside, you’ll find European wines ranging from about $ 15 to upwards of $ 100. Don’t know anything about wine? That’s A-OK! The two guys I’ve seen working here are both sommelliers, and therefore know more about wine than you could ever dream of. They’ll ask you a few questions about your likes and dislikes, your price range, and then will recommend a bottle for you. Every bottle we’ve brought home after doing this has been excellent! The best part? Every day from 5−8PM they offer a free wine tasting. Just walk inside and ask at the front to taste their wine of the day, and they’ll pour you a small glass and tell you everything there is to know about it. They’re quite knowledgeable, and the store is usually pretty empty, so this is your chance to learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about wine! The girlfriend and I stood in there for a good half an hour one evening asking all sorts of questions, and the sales clerk happily answered everything for us, and even gave us a second free tasting while we talked. We ended up buying that bottle on the spot.
