FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

Went there and told the associate this morning i had a FedEx Ground pickup today at my office for 8 boxes and what did I need, and he handed me FedEx Ground slips. News to me when the pickup driver shows up and says they don’t use that service for pickups. To whomever the associate was this morning, learn how to do your job.

Lazy lazy location. Wasted a trip there — they have not even updated their fax numbers on their phone service so when I got there, my fax was not there and when the rep gave me the business card for the store, a completely different number was listed. He was lazy too. Called customer service and found out the fax number I got originally is a fax number for management not customers at that same location. Why didn’t the store rep know this? Incompetence and laziness — and there are so many people out of work that wish they had his job. Irritating experience.

Federal Express has always been my preferred shipper for both personal and business shipments. I’ve used this office located in the Sheraton Times Square hotel several times. They are typically very friendly for standard shipping however if you ever have a question or shipment that might be slightly out of the ordinary the customer service falls short. They have left me hanging on a few occasions. Additionally, if you have something that is being shipped freight they cannot help at all. Do as much work as you can for your shipment before you go into this office.

I used this Fedex my bags home from New York to California. I have an awesome discount through my work, so it ended up being only a little more expensive than bringing it on the plane with me.
First off, finding this place was crazy hard until I realized that it was INSIDE the Sheraton (had to ask the door guy). Then I had to find the place in the hotel, it’s not at the Lobby level, it’s downstairs. If you are lugging a package (or luggage), take the elevator. The Fedex is inside the business center. Minus a star for being hard to find and for being deep in the hotel.
The service I received was excellent at this location, and I believe it was open until 10pm, perfect for someone who wants to ship their stuff the night before they leave (or at least drop it off the night before). The guy was nice enough to zip tie all of the zippers and even re-​zip tie them when I had to open the bag up to remove some hair spray.
The location is kind of weird, but once you get past that, the hours and the service are excellent.
