FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

This location is such a huge ripoff. I use Fedex office a lot and use this location once in a while to print things off of my flash drive. At other locations if there’s a problem, they’ll refund you. Here if there’s a problem, you’re out of luck.
Another thing is if you don’t have your flash drive on you, you can email the store and they’ll print it. Over here, you have to use the computer and pay per minute on a slow computer with slow internet connection and an increased rate.
Avoid this place like the plague.

I was very nervous to go here after reading the reviews, but the location was ideal for what I needed and I’m a slave to convenience… so I went anyway. Really, it wasn’t so bad. The staff did not go out of their way to make me feel welcomed or special, but they did help me figure out what I needed to do to ship my package and I didn’t have to wait more than five minutes. It is definitely overpriced, but so is everything. These people are paid minimum wage and their job cannot possibly be even the least bit engaging, give them a break.

i don’t usually write reviews but this one deserves it!!! the worst customer service ever!!! if you are the manger and reading this, i would like to let you know that i am never coming to your locations ever! fire your incompetent ghetto employees and start over! i had to fight to fight with your long nailed ghetto employee to pick up my package. i had to put a tantrum before your lazy employee went into the back of the room looked for it and found it. i hope you go out of business

The staff at Fed Ex Office are definitely incompetent. But I am not going to blame them for basically messing up my online order and forgetting one important part.
Instead, I am going to blame how Fed Ex seems to to treat their employees.
Fed Ex. You are treating your office employees really bad. They are miserable. They can’t even look customers in the face. They are so depressed that they got my online order wrong. Even when they called me to confirm which card stock I wanted to use… they forgot to make my order!
Are they really that worn out? Do they really hate their job so much? Are they that understaffed that right after they call me about an order they forget to do it? That is so sad. Ever since you guys bought Kinkos, it has been going down hill. It is like you want us to only ship stuff to our apartments to pay extra charges. That way we don’t deal with the sadness of Fed Ex Office Centers.
Not only that when I go to pick it up, I have to wait an hour for it to be made and it still comes out messed up.
I’m sorry staff of Fed Ex office. You deserve better. Please quit with style.

Staff is extremely apathetic. Not helpful at all, but at least my package got out. I hope. Had to wait while two people, who came after me, were helped.

The girls that work here are just plain nasty, rude, will roll their eyes at you after they refuse to mail your package, and are just plain sadistic because they seem to get pleasure out of upsetting you. It is their thing. Just go here and see your self.
I tried to ship a package from here a few times, but it always ends up taking an hour out of my day because they always find a reason why they can’t ship your package, and try to charge some absorbent fee like $ 5 for their .35 cent filling. If i want some things that will not be damaged to slide back and fourth in the 1″ of unfilled space in my box that should be my choice. Don’t refuse to ship my package. I have never ever been able to mail a package on the first go, they always refuse to ship and try to stick me with some add on, so I go home and fix whatever minuscule problem there is and walk back two or three times. Then I have to wait on line for 20 minutes when I get stuck behind «TWO» people because the service here is incredibly slow. Some of the workers just stand around seemingly doing nothing and you have to stand there and wait after they refused to ship your package twice.
All of their services are a rip off in my opinion. A few dollars for a fax when you are not even printing anything and you know they probably have unlimited outgoing calls. $ 3 per sheet to laminate. This entire shop is a rip off with unpleasant people who work there.
I finally decided to just pay a few extra bucks and walk down to the post office where they always ship my package on the first try. I have given this place more chances than it deserves and will not be back.
If you have time to waste, are up for being treated poorly, and have money to burn then please be my guest and ship your stuff from here.

Horrible service, horrible policies.
I came in to ship a laptop. It was well packed and boxed up with sufficient padding. When asked what was in the box, I told the rude customer service clerk with a lip ring that it was a laptop, then she informed me I can only ship laptops in the special fedex laptop boxes that cost 27 dollars. When I tried to explain that my packing was superior to the foam lining that was in their special box, the customer service rep kept interrupting me chanting «It has to be in that box. It HAS to be in that box. It HAS to be in THAT box.»
I left without purchasing that box and went to UPS where I was able to ship my package without being forced to buy an unnecessary $ 27 purchase which would have left my laptop with less padding than I did myself.
Avoid Fedex for this unnecessary policy, and avoid this location due to the support staff inside.

horrible. don’t waste your time. i’ve been here twice in the past month. first time, the rep did not receive my amazon return package. then i needed to walk to another fedex nearby. they took my package right away. today, i went in to return my package around 8p. the closing time was 9p. the rep said the return system was having an update and it was down. what is fedex thinking to update the system while some stores are still open. sorry. fedex, you are going down. no competition with ups. your operation is so inefficient. you better streamline ur system asap. i never really had any issue with UPS.

After being screamed, cursed vulgarly, and reprimanded by a client on the phone for lateness to his job, with the added problem of my co-​worker who disappointingly abandoned me, I had no choice but physically take a package to FedEx for shipment. If this client saw me face-​to-​face he’d probably mauled me to death. I schlepped a 11 lb. box for a long haul fifteen minute walk to Union Square East from 21^st Street/​7^th Avenue only to arrive at this FedEx location panting and sweating with sheer utter exhaustion.
When life gives you lemons… you throw the lemons right back! The FedEx clerk examined my physical appearance and courteously inquired if I were okay — hell NO, I was not okay! Service is somewhat attentive, courteous but painstakingly snail slow especially at drop-​off time. Thankfully I made the 8:30PM drop-​off time and ensured the package to be shipped Priority Overnight for an utter cost of $ 55.00. I got my sales receipt as proof with FedEx tracking number, thereby the client cannot further ado scream nor reprimand me for lateness. I was not defeated by a client!

I was trying to get some boxes shipped and it was such a miserable process. The people working there were no help whatsoever. There were two people working there and when a large crowd of people came in, one of them decided that she couldn’t handle it and left to go get coffee!

This has to be the worst Fedex location in their fleet. The workers NEVER look up to say hello, have tons of attitude and make shipping MORE difficult, not less. I go in happy and smiling and never give them an excuse to be mean to me, yet they manage to do so anyway.
If I don’t have a pre labeled package to drop off I don’t even go in. Honestly, what are they doing in there? One girl in particular, a heavy set young woman who often wears her hair straightened and down, has the LOUSIEST attitude of them all. She barks at you, acts like it her own personal house and makes everything seem like you’re doing her a favor by walking in there. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Wake up FedEx Kinko’s. Your brand used to mean ease of use, reliability and utter convenience. Now it makes me shirk away in disgust.

I’ve only been here 1x to drop off a prepaid package, so I really don’t have much to report.
However, this place seems disorganized. There was no sign or designated place where customers can come in with prepaid packages and leave them. No bin or drop box or anything like that.
The employees look unwelcoming and unapproachable. Working at FedEx Shipping store may not have been their life long dream, but geez, do they have to look so miserable?
There were just few people in line and I wasn’t in a rush so I decided to wait in line and handed it to the employee behind the counter.
Next time I’ll just schedule a pick up. At least my FedEx guy is friendly.

THEY DONT TAKE SHOE BOXES.
Read below:
I put a prepaid label on the shoe box.
They then tell me «no it needs to be packaged by us and put inside a box. We cant ship out shoe boxes. Its 3.99 for the wrap and 3.99 for the box»
«But I dropped off the same type of shoe box last week and it was fine»
«It wasn’t by me because we don’t accept shoe boxes»
I said okay — let me box it myself than.
I put it in a box and come back 10 mins later. I go back and they give me grief again.
«The contents of the box is shaking»
«Well yeah because they’re shoes»
«I know its shoes but the box itself is moving and I cant ship it that way — you need to use some kind of filler like the air pockets we sell for 3.99. I need to open the box»
«No you cant»
«Than I cant accept it»
«Fine open up the box»
There’s 1 inch of space.
«This needs to be filled with filler — otherwise we cant ship it. So you have to buy the air pocket»
I then just put in paper to fill it and she says
«No it doesn’t work because it’ll still shake»
I than start to crumble the newspaper and fill it. And tell her «If I do this will you accept the package because I don’t want to do this and have you reject it»
«yeah that works»
I don’t know if its just them but my feeling is they were just giving me grief for the sake of it. Since I’ve shipped multiple packages through them before + multiple shoe boxes too.
Customer service = the worst here.

Extremely unhelpful. Came up with excuses to not help. No customer service. Rude and refused to help. Said she could print behind the desk and then afterwards went back and said she wouldn’t do it while I wait — because she was the only one there despite the store not being busy. I typically don’t rate so lowly, however I feel there are places in the city that actually care to help!

Had to update since I had no choice but to try this location again. It seems they changed staff already to a group that are quite capable, friendly, and quick. It still was very crowded but not because of slow service, more so due to its busy location, and small size.

RUDE and lazy staff. Terrible customer service, I’d even say comparable to the customer service you’d get at USPS! I will not be returning to this location.

Simply horrible, especially in the customer service department. What more needs to be said?

As a zinester, kinkos is my publishing house of choice… quality copy machines, updated paying methods on the machines, color, b&w, plenty of paper options, and mailers, etc and so on. Compared to Staples or mom & pop «copy centers», there’s still nothing as good as kinkos.
But.
This kinkos? Two words: One copier.

Listen to me, my dear friends. O-​N-​E C-​O-​P-​I-​E-​R in Union Freakin’ Square. That’s like putting one bathroom in a coffee connoisseurs convention.
I got there first one morning, waiting for them to open, before I was two pages into printing a zine I had a line two deep. And there is no space, so they were all hovering about, up in my crawl space, sighing at my stack waiting for the blessed bright light of the copier.
Sorry, kiddos, uh uh and a tsk tsk, zine peeks ain’t free!

Rude and incompetent employees.
Came in to an empty store claim a package.
One employee is diddling around one of the store computers. Looked like some sort of social networking site. The other is staring at some sort of shipping manifest. BOTH MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AT THE COUNTER and resume their diddling and staring.
After I ask about a package claim, the woman who heard my request says, rather sternly «You’re gonna have to wait.». Five minutes. Diddle. Stare. Finally the other employee takes three attempts at finding my package by name (which he forgot and asked «Last name again?» each time he came from the back.) Finally found it, lazily retrieved a package claim sheet, and tossed the envelope on the counter with nothing more to say, and resumed his staring at said paper.
Go somewhere else.

I didn’t have time to walk over to the post office on 4^th Ave. I saw the reviews of this location, and I thought, «How bad could it be?»
And really, it wasn’t THAT bad. But it was bad enough that I should’ve walked over to the post office on 4^th Ave, because it would’ve taken less time to send my packages. I don’t really want to waste MORE of my time going into detail, but I do find it odd that:
–One of the employees yells, «Who dat?!» in a shockingly annoyed tone, every time the phone rings.* It seems to me that answering the phone would answer that question.
–Another employee will actually sing along to the song on the radio as you are trying to give her information that will help her do her job properly. It seems to me that people might feel as though you are not listening to them when you do that.
That is all I have to say about that.
