Great treats & coffee all at the low price of $ 2 for each item. The sign outside says «Winter promotion, limited time only. This location only.» I’m writing this in April so get it while you can!

Come here for the caffeine. I’m usually a tea drinker except when I need the extra caffeine boost for after work activities (like eating!). Drinks are made to order and they top if off with a pretty design (my moka came with chocolate). I love the hot moka here. Sandwiches are bleh but their quinoa bites and chocolate chip cookies are delish! Oh and everything here is $ 2 (for a limited time only) so don’t feel so bad getting a large drink and some dessert here (unless of course you want to sleep tonight). Cappuccinos are good too. They have different types of espresso and their (hazelnut) latte looks good. I’ll be back before my next outing!

The staff is pretty amazing, they seem like they enjoy what they are doing. The ice coffee that I had is alright. It a cozy coffee shop where you can have snacks and unwind for a little bit in the busy streets of Manhattan.

Right now (March 2016 to about May?) this location has a $ 2 on everything promotion. Drinks, sandwiches, pastries… all $ 2 (+ tax). Plus get the Filicori LevelUp app and get $ 3 credit.
It’s great for a quick meal or snack, and at $ 2 it’s a steal right now. EDIT: as of June 16 2016 this «winter» promo is still ongoing, although it seems this place is changing its name to Espresso Matto or something?
The food (sandwiches, bourekas etc) is pretty terrible. Couple of the desserts are decent. Haven’t tried the coffee/​drinks.

This café only had a few patrons here despite it being the midtown lunch hour, so there was plenty of seating and space, plus a clean single-​stall BR in the back.
Used LevelUp credit to get a tasty Dark Chocolate Almond Biscotti ($ 1.75 + tax) and Brownie Bite ($ 1 + tax).

I only ordered a chocolate croissant. It didn’t taste amazing, very average and bland. I liked the Bread Bakery on West 16^th better.
But the interior atmosphere was quite cozy, good place to do work and I had my interview here.
The drinks looked good.

Our company spends hundreds of dollars with them every month for years now, and I introduced myself yesterday that I’m from that company, and when it was turn for me to get my free coffee, the girl handed me a new card, the staff there before used to punch one hole every time I get a new card, I guess this girl was not happy that I was getting a free coffee, and I have asked for a coffee cup sleeve, because the other day, my hand got burnt coz the cup was so hot, and this girl goes like to me, but it’s not for your cup… what matters, you’re not paying for that and I asked for it for a reason… I’ve been there 3 times this week, not even a hello or a smile from the girls… wtf!

A perfect start before attending Macy’s thanksgiving day parade. Macchiato was perfectly balanced, and mint tea made with fresh crispy looking mint ;)

Got a vanilla latte here that was very tasty! It was about $ 5.50 for a medium, but those prices are similar to Starbucks. Would return!

Don’t understand how they justify opening this newer one so close to the other one east down 46^th, and only keeping it open weekdays. Banana walnut loaf was mediocre.

Cappuccino pretty good although a far cry from Blue Bottle quality and rather expensive. Friendly staff. Levelup payment scanner inoperable. Filicori is listed in the Levelup app advertising a $ 3 credit yet the terminal is present but inoperable in this 8W46th Filicori café as of this writing. This is not at all acceptable. I will upgrade the rating once it becomes operable.
Now the Levelup payment scanner is operable so upgraded to 5 stars. Also with the pricing now at $ 2 for all items, the value is very compelling. The espresso drinks are still a far cry from Blue Bottle but at half the price it is still attractive to go here in the morning. Plus the ladies are very friendly.

Came here today for a latte and unfortunately it did not quite hit the spot. I think it was the coffee beans. It did not seem particularly fragrant or have a particular taste. The latte was kind of bitter, which is surprising because even without sugar, the milk usually compensates for it one way or another. The milk was not particularly milky either, something felt like it was missing. Perhaps they used skim?
The staff are nice though and it looks like a nice place to sit and chat. You get a piece of chocolate with a latte, too bad it was a darker chocolate. Dark chocolate isn’t really my thing, but I do appreciate it. Would come back to try something else.

5 stars coffee taste and setting area. Very friendly and lovely staff. Coffee americano, espresso and minted tea are 5 stars.

I randomly walked in here one day with my co worker to get a coffee. It’s a cute little coffee shop and had a nice display. I’ve tried other coffee shops in the area… Gregorys and that Kaffe place and didn’t care for either. I ordered a hazlenut iced coffee and two chocolate chip cookies the first time. THE COOKIES ARE AMAZING! Such a random place to have great chocolate chip cookies but trust me, they are worth it. The coffee was strong and yummy! Had a great flavor. Plus, who can resist a place that gives little chocolates with your order: p
The second time I went there I ordered a cappuccino, chocolate macarons, and also the 3 pack variety ones– they looked like coffee and hazlenut. The chocolate ones were soft and fresh, very good. The trio back disappointed me– the macarons seemed hard and stale. The cappuccino was delicious! There was a line there but the barista seemed to be moving quickly taking orders and making drinks. My only complaint is that the guy working the register didn’t seem as enthusiastic/​friendly as the guy who was working during my first experience. But hey, I guess that’s how it can be at any coffee place. Also, he didn’t give me my chocolate, I had to ask (love me some sweets!)
All in all a cute place with great coffee and great desserts! I wold definitely chose this place over some of the other local competitors.

So looks like I am being converted into a coffee drinker finally. Hope this conversion is temporary. I hate the thought of being addicted to something so bad that my day doesn’t start or I cant think properly till the shot of caffeine is injected in my bloodstream.
Any who a colleague discovered this Italian Coffee Store and wouldn’t stop raving about their cappuccino. She even bought the $ 20 card from there which entitles you to have unlimited coffee for a week. You can choose any style coffee iced or hot. The only catch is you have to wait for half and hour between your two coffee breaks.
I tried their Iced Cappuccino Fredo and it was delicious. The ice is slushed in this one and it tastes very smooth. They even have some baked goods which are not built on premises and are sourced from somewhere else. They have some great options of salads like Tuna, Quinoa etc and when I went in around 2.30pm they only had a couple left.
They have few tables at the back and bar counter in front .They also give you a complimentary mini cookie wafer or dark chocolate with your coffee/​tea
If coffee is not your thing, you have two other incentives to head over to Filicori
1)They have delicious canneles and other baked goodies and and and
2)The Baristas are very cute with their Italian caps and trendy vests.:-)

Stumbled by this café while we tried to look for Gregory’s coffee. Had a hazelnut latte, was pretty rich and creamy but no hazelnut flavoring.
I love their condiments area;
Not only do they have sugar and milk etc like every other café, they have bottled syrup, honey, jam, olive oil, etc & lots of other cute stuff for your drinks and eats.
Was staring at their croissants but was too full, looked yummy.
Seats are extremely comfortable because they are classic black leather sofas seats with pretty embroidery.
Employees looked bored though. It was pretty empty there because it was hard to notice the place.

Hooray!!! Filicori zecchini has opened up its second location in midtown. I’ve been here a few times and it definitely perks up the hood on a pretty commercial street in midtown.
Lots of treats and yummies in addition to the delicious java. Also there is seating which is terrific if you are just meeting a friend for afternoon café.
Hint I like to go to soom soom falafel bar next door for lunch and then grab a cappuccino at filicori on my way back to the office.
